G tablet protective shells,custom material - G Tablet Accessories

Just want to know Which materials would you like if there is a guy will make some shells?
There is a factory tell me that they will develop a model to make some Shells. But they don;t know which materials is the best popular..
I know there is a thread about the thing. Just want to tell you guy there are some honest workers do their hard work for us.
This posted Will over 11th May and then keep your eye on the information.

My vote is in. Like a stiff silicone or soft plastic is always what I'm looking for.

I have used all material for cases but TPU always was the best ( in my opinion)

Interesting- was just about to put carbon fiber over mine...maybe I'll wait just a little bit
Keep us posted on the availability of the skins!!! My vote is in

TPU is probably my material of choice

I would buy four of whatever TPU, soft plastic or silicone case is available, provided they are in neutral colors (black, grey, dark blue, etc).

I'd be interested as well at the right price.

Review for the Matte TPU Case from Cimo Technologies

Like myself, I am sure most of you are looking for a good case for our new gigantic Note's. I just got a Matte TPU case from CIMO Technologies. I have always liked TPU cases because they offer good protection without sacrificing size and this one is no different. The case barely adds any size to the phone and let's face it the phone is big enough on it's own. The one problem I have always had was, TPU cases were hard to get on and off because they are a very tight fit. This was the easiest case I have had to install and remove which is good with the amount of battery swapping I will be doing. The case has a matte finish and is in black. The case has good access to the ports and including the stylus. There is no sticky plastic feel to this case like I have had with other TPU cases. There is a very smooth texture to the case. That might be the only complaint some people might have. Because the case is very smooth it might slippery for some people but I actually kind of like the feel of the case. The case can be purchased at http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=me=A2X1DSC0SAJ94E&field-keywords=i717 and you can get a discount if you buy 2 or more. For the price I like the fact that I am buying from a company in the US vs buying from Hong Kong and it's the same price you would probably pay on eBay but because they are US you will probaly get it a lot quicker.
looks like a nice case thanks for posting
Thanks
I thought I would give it a shot and review something I thought other owners would be interested in.

Why No Leather Case?

Pardon my rant...
Is it so much to ask for a leather case that does NOT have a cover? I just want a nice, simple, slim leather case that is nothing more than a case. I really don't understand why there are hundreds of leather wallet or flip cases, some look as if they even have the nice looking case I want (only attached to a cover) but I have yet to find one single nice leather case. Apple themselves sells a gorgeous and simple leather case for their devices and it irks me that I am pretty much stuck with TPU bugdroid or polycarbonate as my choices for a slim and simple case.
Anyone finding anything I haven't?

Wow, the last time I saw Noreve come up they only had the flip/wallet case and pouches available. The back case (first link in your post) is new to me, and looks... pretty damn close to what I've hoped for. Thanks for the timely reminder!
EDIT: Just did a quick dive through YouTube and am a little skeptical about how accurate the renders on the site are with respect to the thickness of the case along the edges, and specifically how disruptive the cut-out portions might be.
There's a review of the iPhone 6 back case that shows just how chunky the sides are, and if you compare it against how the same product is rendered on Noreve's website, there's a pretty huge visual difference. And in my opinion the thickness on video looks a lot less attractive.
Anyhow, it might be mitigated somewhat by the relatively larger footprint on the Nexus 6, but I kind of don't feel like dropping ~$35 to test it :\
Yeah that case looks wayy too chunky.. the case should just be a thin layer of leather glued to polycarbonate.
You can always do what @Pilz did (and I later copied him). Get yourself one of them real Horween leather back skins from @slickwraps and slap it onto a Spigen case. Pilz has photos all over this forum of how good it looks. I have two cases, one with dark leather and one with distressed tan leather (my favorite), and rock them both. Nothing better than the smell of real leather!
I bought this off ebay for 2.99. I love it. Took a few weeks to arrive though...

Thats not real leather, and the quality seems to be pretty bad. many of those photos show fibers coming out from under the ring cutout for the camera, for several different colors.
I like this leather case, been using it for a few months now, it's relatively thin:

has anyone ever found in the US what the original poster describes?
i am looking for a case that is only a back made of leather. i do not want a skin
Just letting everyone know that I ordered one of the leather cases off of Noreve. I will update when I receive it, and will post pictures.

Artech 21 Cases - Reviews

I was lucky enough to be allowed to review the current cases that Artech 21 currently offers for the Galaxy S7. I'll be reviewing the Artech 21 Vivid Arkansas in the Champagne Gold/Black color, the Artech Jelly in Champagne/Clear, the Artech Little Rock rugged case in Black, and the Artech Dallas Lazer in Champagne Gold/Black.
This post is just going to be my brief first impressions. I will have complete, detailed reviews of all 4 cases up in the next day or 2.
First. Not that it directly involves the cases' performance, I still feel this is important. My communication with the company was fantastic. We communicated through Facebook Messenger and their responses were always quick, polite, and to the point. I think customer service is very important, who knows what could happen, mailman delivers to the wrong address, you got the wrong case by mistake, you have a question, or you're just plain not happy with it. It's good to know that the company will be there to promptly answer your questions and resolve your issue.
Now the packaging. It was the same for all 4 cases and very similar to the type of packaging you'd find on the name brand cases at Best Buy. Nothing really stands out. It protects the cases, is simple to open and doesn't have anything unnecessary.
Now on to the cases themselves...
(photo in attachment at bottom)
I'll start with the Jelly Series. It's pretty basic. A clear TPU shell with a Gold, harder plastic trim. The clear TPU, though smooth, is manufactured in a way that it provides a lot of grip. Probably the most grip of any of their cases. And the Gold trim feels sturdy enough to provide good protection against edge drops, it has a loop of gold at the bottom that gives it a unique design compared to other similar style cases. The phone fits very well. It's easy to install, fits snugly, and doesn't feel like there's any chance of it popping out accidentally. So, initial impressions are great. It seems like it will provide solid protection and grip in a low profile package that shows off this gorgeous phone instead of changing the look completely.
Next we'll go with the Lazer Dallas Series. It's got a black TPU shell with a vertically brushed finish on it with a more rugged gold trim similar to the one on the Jelly Series with the same extra bit of gold kinda looping up from the bottom that gives it a cool unique look that brings more gold to the overall design that goes great with my Gold Platinum S7. It's easy to install and fits snugly. It feels like it provides a good deal of protection while keeping a low profile. I keep my phone in my pocket, so it's important to me to keep it low profile. This definitely fits the bill for me. Just like the first. It doesn't have the grip of the Jelly, but still has good grip provided by the brushed finish. Solid case with a unique look
Third, my likely favorite of the four, is the Vivid Arkansas Series. It has a black TPU shell with horizontal ribs that provide great grip. It's a different kind of grip from the Jelly though, Like the other 2 cases, it has a more rugged TPU in gold. However this ones has a thich horizontal stripe, as well as the the loop thing at the bottom also found on the other. Like the other 2, installation is very easy. The phone fits snugly and securely. My phone definitely feels protected and it fits very comfortably in my pocket. It's a low profile case that feels like it could withstand some damage and has a very unique look that I haven't seen anywhere before that I absolutely love. I expected the Jelly to be my clear favorite (no pun intended lol), as it really just shows the original phone but provides good protection for it, but this Vivid Arkansas case looks incredible. I think it's my favorite looking. Not just of these 4 that I'm reviewing, but of any case currently available for the GS7.
Lastly, we have the Little Rock Series. It is BY FAR the most rugged of all the cases. Based on ititial impressions, I would say this case can withstand as much abuse as the hardcore Otterbox cases. I've had friends that give clumsy a new meaning (honestly. Broke 5 Galaxy S5s within one month) that would only use the most expensive Otterbox cases afterwards. He lost the front bezel on one somehow, bought a new one, then found the bezel and gave me his old one. So I had one for a decent amount of time to form an opinion on it. My initial impression of the Little Rock case is that it would have no problem providing that same level of hardcore protection. I'm a complete idiot and didn't know it came with a glass screen protector and broke it poking out the phone papers that were inside the cases in the packaging. Absolutely my fault. I have no excuse. I'll do my best to review it as if it had the glass as well. It has a front bezel that pops out and then back in for the installation. It snaps in VERY securely. To where it takes some effort to install, but feels like I could roll it down the worlds largest flight of stairs without the bezel popping off, let alone the phone coming out. Put simply, this case is obviously designed to take a ton of abuse while keeping the phone from incurring any damage. And my initial impression is that this phone can do that.
So far I really like them. But that may change for my final in-depth reviews. But the initial impression is very good. Though the designs and the looks are entirely subjective, I really like the looks of these cases
Regarding the Little Rock case, I agree that the thing is built like a tank without being too bulky. Excellent protection and feels very sturdy.
But the included screen protector fit is awful, as the edge is like 1/4" in from the edges of the screen. Looks terrible. Plus the case constantly lifts up the included screen protector. Don't bother putting the protector on. A PET screen works well with the case
The other gripe I have with the case is that the LED notification light is mostly covered by the case. They apparently did not measure that well when designing the case.

PREMIUM Leather Cases

Looking for a premium leather case, but it seems all the leading designers/manufacturers only focus on the iPhone, unless I'm looking in all the wrong places.
I've only seen the Pierre Cardin case, which I really like sans the HUGE logo on the back. I don't see Cole Haan, Shinola, etc cases for the S7. Anyone know of any others?
Honestly, if you want "premium" you want handmade. Shinola is... Hatable, really. "Made in the USA" means "We got all our parts from China and assemble it here. It was so bad, they were forced to drop the "Made in the USA" claim this week by the FTC.
Anyways, I've been looking for the same thing you are, and your best bet is off Etsy, looking for American or Euro leatherworkers who hand craft their goods.

I picked up one of these http://www.mobilefun.com/58015-official-samsung-galaxy-s7-leather-cover-black.htm a bit ago and am very pleased with it. Fit is perfect, nice suede (or suede-like) inside to prevent scratching of glass back, fit / finish is perfect. Labeling suggests made in Vietnam. Great service from Mobile Fun.

I got the Otterbox Strada. Beautiful case if you don't mind flip cases and want some good protection.
Hi, i really like the Quialino cases, take a look:
http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20160629100042&SearchText=Qialino+s7
They are premium , genuine leather cases, no PU bulls***. My favorite is this, I ordered it in checkered, black. ( Not the one with the waves):
http://de.aliexpress.com/item/Dock-Connector-to-HDMI-HDTV-TV-Adapter-Cable-for-iPhone-4-4s-iPad-iPad2-free-shipping/598758553.html?spm=2114.010208.3.129.vRSSOz&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_0,searchweb201602_5_10037_10017_405_507_10032,searchweb201603_3&btsid=7aa5d8ce-360c-4d8a-a766-9fb95aee8578
Those are leather in name only, and skirting the definition of "geniune".

Simply put, corrected-grain or “genuine” leather has had an artificial grain applied to its surface. For those of you who are looking for high-quality leather goods, this would be a negative. The leather-like pattern is impressed into the surface and then sprayed with stain or dyes to give the fake grain a more natural appearance.

You can tell because, well... It's not a natural pattern.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/QIAL..._1&btsid=21993867-00fe-43d8-be68-731563ad68b4
This is complete and total bull****.
preface: I am not referring to the ostrich foot cases here, in this respect you might be correct (I never saw ostrich foot leather before.. maybe because it´s so damn ugly)
Off course it´s leather! Leather is quite a cheap good nowdays.
Not talking about the cases, but there´s lots of real leather with imprinted patterns. It doesn´t make the leather atrificial.. or am I missing the point?
The process makes it easier to cover stains like mosquito bits or scars though. .. so they can buy cheaper leather.
Leather is processed in many ways..you can make leather as thin as .1mm and cover your phone with it, see slickwraps natural series.
So, can you please show me a windowed case out of what you define as leather? Maybe I´ll like it more
Btw, the ostrich foot cases really are ugly as hell...
Ostrich SHOULD look like this: http://www.abpparis.com/Ostrich-leg_a71.html
Imprinted leather, and stuff like this is what's called "grain corrected" leather. As per the link I put in above:
Simply put, corrected-grain or “genuine” leather has had an artificial grain applied to its surface. For those of you who are looking for high-quality leather goods, this would be a negative. So with that being said, there seems to be a disconnect in philosophy here. You say this enables them to use cheaper leather and that's good. I say, a "premium" leather case, as the OP asked for, would mean premium, full grain leather, meant to be durable and develop a patina over time.
As I linked previously, something like this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/265049...edge-plus-s5-note-5?ref=listing-shop-header-1
Or perhaps like this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/232882773/rustic-brown-leather-case-for-galaxy-s7
Shows you what a hand made, *premium* leather case can look like. As for "windowed" cases, I wouldn't even know where to look. Stitching a plastic panel into leather would be the weak point, and wouldn't look like it belonged, IMHO. A full leather flip? Absolutely.
Maybe something like this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/264941681/samsung-galaxy-s7-s6-edge-plus-s5-note-5
Or on the less expensive end, something like this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/227384933/samsung-galaxy-s7-edge-case-wallet
These may be a model to consider also:
http://www.noreve.com/en/1200-galaxy-s7
I picked up this case on a whim the other day, and took delivery last night. For the money, it's not bad at all, but it's definitely not "premium" by any means. Definitely top grain leather, bonded to a polycarbonate or plastic shell. It looks great, though I could do without the chrome ring around the camera/flash, the leather is smooth and evenly dyed, but a bit too thin, there's no give to it.
I'm in the process of treating it with a bit of Lexol to see if I can bring out the leather a bit more. Usually leather goods that ship with those desiccant packs are extremely dry and prone to cracking, so a bit of conditioner will absorb really quickly and give the leather a better feel. I'm on the first coat right now, and it soaked it up like a sponge, but I have a feeling the leather is just too thin to make any major improvements here.
So, with that being said, it's definitely not BAD for $19, and it's miles better as compared to the aliexpress and ebay stuff out there, but it's by no means "premium" by my definition. For someone who wants an inexpensive leather case, I'd recommend it though.

Case, Skin, other for adding grip to slippery phone

I do not usually put my phone in a case because I do not like to add bulk. I like to keep it as slim and trip as possible. I am coming from a prior phone that had a rubberized surface on the edges and back (Droid MAXX - the original). The Pixel is a bit slippery for me.
I am curious what solutions people would recommend for the best way to add grip to the Pixel without adding bulk. Maybe I need to go with one of the thin cases, or maybe there is a skin that could help? I don't need to decorate the phone, but if there is a skin that helps it grip better I would give it a try.
Your options are case, skin, and naked. For cases, you're not going to get any thinner than the Nillkin Nature cases. I'm not a fan of the one I have but it's undeniably low in bulk. For skins, the are a ton of options and you'll have a variety of opinions but if you don't want a case, that's about your best option.
Some skins are grippier than others, even win a single manufacturer, so it's worth asking the manufacturer about it. For example, for dBrand their grippier skins tend to be the carbon fiber options.
Good luck!
I've said this in the other cases thread on here, but I'll post again just in case people don't know about that other thread.
Caudabe (http://www.caudabe.com) makes great, very slim cases for iPhones.
If you email/tweet them to make Veil XT for Google Pixel/Pixel XL, they might consider it.
You can try reaching out to Shumuri too (http://shumuri.com)
I wish that their was an antigravity case for the pixel... I can't stand mounts and would love to just stick my phone to my instrument panel
Based on my experience with them on other phones, a skin won't provide anywhere near as much grip as the surface on that Droid Maxx.
Instead, take a look at the thread on ultra-thin cases:

The Nillkin Nature cases are very slim and definitely add grip to the phone. You can see pics in my post here:

You can't go wrong with the UAG cases. The plasma series is surprisingly thin and light, but really has great edge and drop protection. they feel great in the hand. They are a little higher in price, but totally worth it.

+1. I received the Ice case yesterday; using it on the silver Pixel. I wanted a slim grippy case, one with black rubber to hide the darkening that occurs with time on rubbery areas of phone cases, and a clear back to display the silver/white of the phone. This case is PERFECT. It looks great. And the grip is fantastic.
I just received a blue Speck Presidio Grip and it's a very nice case for adding grip. The blue one is hard to find unless you pay quite a bit of $$ (I found a listing on eBay for used under $20) but the black version can more easily be found for under $20.
The case fits very well without being too difficult to take on and off. The added grip is good without being extreme. The hard plastic has a nice matte feel to it (the previous Speck cases I had was glossy but I like this better). And the buttons have a good clicky feel to them. It's not a minimalistic case like the Nillkin Nature but it's tons better than something like the Incipio Dual Pro.
Hope this helps somebody!
I've been meaning to try the DBrand skins for a while. Just ordered the bamboo version for my silver Pixel. Will update how it is. I have high hopes as the reviews are overwhelmingly positive.

I've purchased two Toast skins now and I really like them. Because they are actual wood they are really nice and grippy with the added benefit of that if you drop your phone, the wood will absorb some of the shock. It's prevented a few dings for me. Plus they can laser etch anything you want on there...

I've had Toast on phones and laptops. Great products although I prefer them on non-phone devices because it's impossible to put a case over top of it and sometimes you just need heavy duty protection.

Hi

I have a best skins ever fitted with the glossy screen and matte body.
Also I have a qi receiver. You can see the USB port blocked by it
The buttons are cut outs so are quite recessed. I had a spigen case on just before that covers the buttons
This case is much less bulky than the spigen
The headphone port is possibly slightly wrong. If you have a headphone socket with a bulky top it might struggle. This is being picky though and I could just get a scalpel to it to increase the hole a mm
