[Q] Removing or hiding the battery icon? - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have an extended battery on my atrix. For some reason, the battery icon (stock) can't see it, so it's showing my phone at 60% signal (when the battery is a 3500MAH battery, and really, shouldn't be at 60 after 4 hours!)....so, how do I remove the battery icon? I'm running .83 with GreyBlur and Pink theme. Can I remove it in the theme and reload the theme?

go into the battery manager under settings and click the battery icon. what is using most of your CPU?
also the battery stats might need to be reset
have a search how to do it

Ok thank you. It says display is using like 40% and if I'm not on the phone the display is off, and brightness is set really low.

[Q] How to add a full battery notification feature in Axura 2.2.5.7?

Im running Axura 2.2.5.7 with voodoo enabled. Is there any way to add a feature to the current rom that notifies you when the battery is fully charged? This feature was included in the first OTA update of stock 2.1 by Samsung. Basically what the feature did was show a battery icon (that says 100%) in the notification tray and also played a notification sound. This would let me know that the battery is fully charged and its time to unplug the phone. This benefits the battery life in the long run. I am wondering if such a feature can be added into a custom rom.
Please reply if you know how to go about doing it.
Thanks.
Update to 2.2.6.0 and I think the battery icon always shows a percentage.

I have an app that shows the % of battery left in the notification bar. I want a feature that notifies me by sound when the battery is fully charged.

[Q] GB 2.3.4 = no more battery charged green led indicator?

Hello.
One of the things I've noticed after upgrading to GB 2.3.4 is that no more green led indicator when battery is fully charged.
Is there a tweak for this to bring it back?
Thank you.
I don't believe it ever did for stock ROMs. I always had green while charging then it went off when charged.
I use Circle Battery from the market and with this app you can tell it what colors to display on screen and/or LED when charging, charged, in use, warning and critical.
It does work on stock 2.2, but after upgrade to any 2.3.4 (stock or custom) it doesn't...
On my atrix it only lit when battery is fully charged and flashes on some notifications. Not sure why you had it in reverse.
I found "Circle Battery Widget" and "Battery Circle" neither of them have control for LED.

I have still yet to do GB since I have that on my SGS, and it's a PITFA to go back to Froyo on the Atrix.
Anywhoo... The green charging light works in Froyo. It starts lighting up at 90%, and stays on until you take the phone off the charger.
Don't know how this behaves on GB, so I can only go off of what OP says it does (which kinda sucks)...

Circle Battery Widget does. Start the app from the apps menu>Select Colors>then you have the different custom colors to select based on status. You can also change the percentage for the warnings levels.
When it is plugged in and charging the widget will change color on LED. And, widget changes on the screen. There isn't a specific setting box for it, but it works for both screen and LED.

Oh, ok, for the moment I went back to 2.2.2 and it colors on widget don't affect colors of LED. But it's good to know that there is a way for 2.3.4 get it activated.
Thanks.
you can use "Light Flow" or "Blink" from the market. both allow you to customise the LED colour and what type of notification.

Problem with the htc legend

Hello
I have the device and out of power very quickly
I load the phone to 100 percent
And after an hour I was at 50 percent and a very hot phone
The heat of the phone after an hour is 42 degrees
How can I fix it?
when you go into the battery monitor inside the settings menu does it give any indication what app / component is sucking on the battery?
(the high temperature is a byproduct of the fast battery-drain)
where is the battery monitor
i need to download it from the market?
no, it's a built-in feature. are you using the legend with a htc stock rom? - i think it's accesible via settings > about > battery > battery use (in custom roms the wording might be a little different)...

Do you have a time out set to turn the screen off when you not using your phone? Or does your screen stay on all the time?
What your battery usage is reporting is that your screen is on all the time.

[Q] I have a big problem with my S2 I1900G

When i changed tat to a normal wallpaper (NOT LIVE) and i am using the go launcher wallpaper( not the theme only the wallpaper). Battery shows tat display is taking 78-79% y is it like that???
Even after unplugging the charger display takes 74% of battery though i dont have any live wallpaper, i have juice defender, i have brightness automated option selected.
That's normal. That refers to the percentage of the used battery and not the entire usage. Of course the display is going to take up the majority of the battery power regardless of what task you do!

Battery App and Signal App

I am looking for 2 apps that are decent.
The first is a battery application, one that not only gives me an accurate usage, but also displays the temperature in the widget and/or notification bar.
The second is a signal strength meter that displays the strength in numbers, and not a bar. I already have Signal Notification, but I now believe that it is one of the causes that drives up my phone temperature.
I'm am using a Virgin Mobile unrooted Evo 3D running ICS.
Either can be free or paid. And in advance, thanks.
edit: the battery App should also show me which application is using how much power.

The gold standard for battery monitoring is Battery Monitor Widget Pro, which is also available as part of the Android Tuner app. I use GSam Battery Monitor, but I don't think it has the temperature display via widget or status bar that you specified. I'm rooted and S-OFF and I'm not sure how well these apps work on a non-rooted phone so you might want to try the free versions that they all have first.
I'm not that familiar with signal strength monitors since I just use the icons on the status bar.
