I tried to instal a ROM but obviously something went wrong cause now the phone is in a endless bootloop. I cant get into xRecovery. How do i proceed to fix this?
You'll need to do a fresh install, SEUS.
Take off the battery of your phone, prepare the application to go for a repair, prepare the cable then put the battery in hold back and plug the cable :/ you'll lose your data but will be able to re-use the phone

Hello All,
I just bricked my x10, and have no idea whats going on, other than knowing that the x10 is bricked! So this is what happened...
I backed everything with titanium backup, and then proceed to do my JIT and Cleaner in shell root. I first shell root then ran the JIT_enabler v2, then after that I ran the junk_cleanup. When the junk cleanup finishes, I ddint like how it was set up and couldnt figure out how to change it back, so I did a full system backup from titanium. After the backup it was still no good, I then proceed to do a factory reset in the privacy tab in system settings. When I came back to my phone after the factory reset, it erased everything.... my screen was blanked and I couldnt do anything. I restarted the phone, and the phone was stuck on the Sony Ericsson logo. I couldnt even turn off my x10. I restarted one more time by taking the battery out, but it is still stuck at the Sony Ericsson Logo... what should I do? is my phone done for? i only had it for less than a week =[
please help! thanks!
You'll need to repair your phone, using pc companion. At update it'll say up to date, update it anyway and you'll start from scratch.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
but the problem for using PC companion is that I cannot even connect my phone with PC companion because I cannot mount my memory card. Its stuck at the SE logo sign, and when I plug in the usb cable, it tells me to drag down the menu and mount the memory card.... and I cannot do that because my main screen is still stuck on SE logo... any ideas? Thanks!
You do not need to mount your sd card for pc companion or seus to work. Load pc companion, take the battery out of your phone for 30 seconds. Put the battery bck in the phone and attach thhe usb cable. Do not plug the other end in to your pc yet. Start the update on pc companion and it should ask you to attach the phone in flash mode. When it does that hold the back button on your phone down and while still holding itdown, plug the usb cable in to your pc. Follow the instructions and it should then be back to normal

Right my friend, don't worry. As long as you can get to a Sony Ericsson logo it is not bricked!
By getting to the Sony Ericsson logo it means that Flash mode is still available.
Have you changed your carrier code on the phone? If so use the firmware for that code, if you are not sure just ask again what we mean
Secondly get the Flash tool, stick in the firmware, boot into flash mode and you should be set my friend.
Just make sure its the right firmware for your phone
If you need any more help just ask

Whats the flash tool, i think i bricked too. Thanks my friend.
succeed, thank you guys so much for the help!
i installed sensation rom and after tht i lost my phone
first phone says conected to usb eventhough i am not connected. so i changed to cognitions2 it was same for this tooo. but now i am on stock with unrooted now the problem is it gets restarted when i power off my phone doesnt go off..and also after removing the battery and replacing it aotomatically power on my phone. my phone doesnt go off...
Yeah I had this too after flashing around a bit.. You could try flashing again with a full wipe (inc. cache and dalvik)?
Personally I resolved by going back to my CWM backup of original stock firmware before reflashing original stock kernel, but that doesn't help much if you don't have the option..
Take out the battery, so it stays out ^^
A few roms have this "feature" and it's not a bug ;-)
greetings
Hi All,
I've run into an odd problem. My S4 completely died on me last Saturday. I can access recovery and Odin Mode, but only if the phone is plugged in. No response from any combination of buttons should I try them without the plug in.
When I plug the phone in, it brings me to a boot loop of the battery icon with a circle indicator through it. Leave it long enough, and it'll turn off, vibrate, and do the same thing again. From what I understand, this is a problem with the main board, or the PBA. However, I figure I should try everything before I send it into Samsung for a repair.
I want to flash a factory image through Odin, just in case that could possibly be an issue. If the phone flashes correctly, but still won't boot, is that dangerous? (i.e. the phone needs a complete boot after flashing with Odin).
If I can freely flash without any side effects due to my issue, what would be the safest image to flash to it? I don't remember the name of it off-hand, but I think there were three I knew about.
My phone does come up as COM9 through Odin, so it recognizes there's a device.
Are there any risks to doing this, or should I skip all this work and just send it to Samsung?
Thanks in advance.

In the past the only time when I odin back to stock and It did not boot up I went to the stock recovery and did a factory wipe and started like a charm
So I may have screwed up my phone. I wanted to do a complete fresh install and wiped all the partitions in TWRP (except external and usb).
Then before I got a chance to flash the rom my phone died (didn't realise my battery was low I know my fault).
Now it wont boot past the sony logo and I cant shutdown the phone. holding power does nothing tried holding it for over 30 seconds still nothing.
The phone has been stuck at the sony logo for over an hour and is starting to get very very warm.
Does anyone know how I can shutdown the phone to prevent damaging the battery/cpu? Have I hard bricked the phone? I hope flash tool can detect the phone at the sony logo because I can't shutdown to even boot to flash mode
I Do not have access to a computer at the moment.
Thanks in advance.

Hold Power and Volume Up. That should shut the phone off. If that doesn't work, try the off switch next to the USB Port.
When you do get access to a computer, download SUS and do a software repair to restore your phone to stock (only for locked bootloader). Alternately, you can download a stock .ftf file for your Z2 and flash it via flashtool.
Your phone is not hard-bricked, it is soft bricked. Hard Bricked means that the phone turns into an expensive paperweight dummy handset.
Hope this helps

Force reset it like here: http://userguide.sonymobile.com/ref...product=xperia-z1#!Resetting-your-device.html
and do a factory reset. Go to recovery -> wipe data/ factory reset.
EDIT: or flash again your rom / kernel.

You are a life saver bro I been trying to figure out how to force off the phone for an hour tried every button combo except volume up for some reason (think I tried it but didnt work prolly wasn't actually pushing the button)
yeah I'm familiar with sus and flashtool so I should be good from here out just needed to figure out how to force the damn thing off. I been out of the sony game too long ive been with samsung since my x10 but now im back
Thanks again bro just happy its a soft brick.
I accidently wiped off my system with cache and others with twrp, I was going to flash another ROM with it but i ended up on the SONY screen and now I'm unable to get into recovery itself and the sad part is that phone was on very low charge at that moment and it has drained now, even if it charges a bit it shows up at that SONY logo with no signs of further charging.
I want to charge it so that i can enter flashmode or fastboot mode so that I can atleast flash it with a ROM.
Really disturbed without OS and can't even do anything to it.
Please HELP! or tell about any charging signs or something.
Thanks

why not turn phone off and let it charge then? you can force phone to shutdown by pressing/holding power + vol up button for 30sec
If it does not charge (it happened to me once on my ultra) I understand your concern.
Here is how I over came the issue, i downloaded flashtool and a flashable rom.
Start flashtool, chose to flash device, flashmode, open your rom, in the exclude section, exclude all but the first line, plug in your phone in flash mode, flash line 1, remove your phone, keep flashtool open, stick the phone it on the charger for 10mins (this seems to give it a very small charge, enough for a minute flashing) do the same with each line of the rom.
I will not say this is going to work, but it has worked for me.
At one point (after the 5th line or so) it just starts accepting a charge then you can finish the whole rom.
