[THEME] DarkFroyo Remix (Update 3/31/2012) - Milestone XT720 Themes and Apps

So this phone is my first smart phone, got it last xmas & I've been learning a lot from reading around on the forum & playing around. Iv'e finally gotten to the point where I'm relatively satisfied with my theme & thought I'd share it.

I started with Kahlpowers DarkFroyoMix & added DontPanics Orange Ocatane Addons & sone of UpwardSpirals CM7 Orange Octane Theme & capped it off with some of droidzforlife Orange Slice theme for the droid X. I'm also running Launcher Pro Plus with UpwardSirals OrangeOctane widget themes & Don't Panics orange LPP icons.
Mainly I just changed icons & some graphics in some stock apps but GenieWidget (News & Weather), the calculator, Phone, Contacts & the Desk clock are more extensively themed. Also included are a version of Music Mod (that replaces the stock music & a different MMS (both pulled from the Orange Slice Theme).
I built these on a fresh install of Dexter's 1.3 (with Mioze7Ae's patches) so I don't know if they would work on Kahl's Roms.
Apply update in Open Recovery, wipe dalvik & cache partions & reboot.

Undo back to Dexter's 1.3 stock.
Undo back to Kahl's SteelEpicBlue (Note I haven't tried this yet)

I've updated some graphics in the phone, contacts & framework-res to fix the spacing on the dialer & the picker button icons as noted below. 05/9/11
Updated the animations to match Kahls DarkFroyoV2 & changed the default wallpaper. Also updated the undo file with everything back to Dexters 1.3. 05/11/11
Updated the light on white icons in music menu & changed the unknown contact pics in contacts. 05/12/11
Updated to obtain a dark menu background with white text, added a more 3Dish Status bar & replaced the emoticons. 05/15/11
Fixed the calendar widget. Added some theming to 3D Gallery & changed the expanded notification background. 05/28/11

i'll try it
and....
it work on khal's rom...curently im using V4..
i found that when i use this theme the lock screen became invisible..
i dont know why..
the rest were just fine..
nice work btw...

when i tried to re apply SteelEpicBlueXT theme some icon still stuck with your icons theme..
any tips or help ?

Thanks for the info on Kahls ROM. I guess I should have mentioned the transparent lock screen.
Edit: Which Icons, screenshot?
This should set everything back to Dexter's stock except for the mms & music Which I'll have to try & put something together for. You would probably have to flash this update then reflash Kahls EpicBlue update.
Note I originally had the undo link wrong if you tired to download it & the file name did't include undo try again. DOH!!

i really dunno about the transparant lock
apparently i've restore the rom to get the standar icon
cuz hard reset and appliying other theme didn't affect on it...
sorry i dont have the screen shoot but i remember the stuck icon was camcoder,camera, audio effect and radio..

Updated the theme to fix a few issues. The spacing on the dialer buttons was wrong & changed the picker buttons from a light background to dark.

This is a topic for Dexter v1.3? applies only to the update? Undo back to Dexter's 1.3 stock. is to return to the previous topic? no data to return to factory?
Applying this topic affects the performance of the phone?

Thanks. According to ndempist it will also work on Kahls ROM but I haven't tried that yet myself (probably will this weekend, if time permits). The update just themes some files & replaces versions of the stock music & mms apps, the undo file just returns everything that was themed/replaced back to Dexter's original versions. No need for a "wipe data factory reset", just wipe the dalvik-cache & cache partitions before you reboot.
No performance enhancements, just a theme.

I have tried to apply these in recovery and nothing happens. I put them in openrecovery/updates, boot into recovery, apply update, wipe dalv and partition cache. Reboot and i am still on steel theme.
Am i missing something?
And always remember, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I'm new at this, but I've seen Kahl saying that your system partition might be full(?). Verify you have the correct file, DarFroyo-update.zip & not the undo(?). Maybe try wiping the Dalvik & cache partition first & then apply. Like I said, I'm not really sure but I was able to apply the update to both Dexter's (1.3) & Kahls (EpicSteelBlue V4) Roms, But whenever I flash a new ROM the first thing I do is get rid of system apps I don't use.

What's the green bars icon in the top left?
PS: You've really got me in a quandary here. I really love the theme, but I loathe the Bengals.
