Hi, I was wondering if the tablet cases which have keyboards integrated will work on the transformer?
Such as this one: http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/...tegrated-Keyboard-Case-For-10-Tablet(0083942)
Thanks.
That's a USB keyboard and there's no USB port on the TF, so no this wouldn't work without an adaptor of sorts. Also, given the width of the TF, it is doubtful it would fit nicely.
If you want something like this, why not just buy the keyboard dock?
Regards,
Dave
Ah, thanks for the reply. The keyboard dock is a lot more expensive but ill look into it.
How can you connect to a pc with no usb?

The RF doesn't have a USB host port. Its docking port doubles as a USB client port

Hey guys, I just received my Atrix yesterday and I'm really satisfied with the product.
I already updated to 1.8.3, installed Gingerblur 3.1 and evertything works great.
I have a question, though. I want to install the webtop hack to play games on my LED TV. But, would my Laptop Dock work normally if I installed webtop hack?
I tried to look for the answer but I couldn't find it.
Thanks in advance.
I have the hack installed. I happened to go into att yesterday to try the dock and it worked just fine. Interestingly so did my data connection without any tethering applied!

Well, I took the risk and install the webtop hack. Both the hack and the laptop dock work perfectly! Thanks!
So what exactly is the webtop hack and what does it do for you?

HDMI Mirroring only supports vertical mode so far.
If you have games, especially cool gameloft ones.
You know how hard and frustrating it is to play with the fingers on your screen.
The only phone that lets you enjoy the game fully is the Xperia Play.
Is there and app where you can connect the PS3 controller via USB or Bluetooth wireless (how it connects to PS3) to play games?
Not like WiiMote that remote is confusing ......
It would be awesome if it was really especially if your phone has TV out support.
Well is there an app like this?
You couldn't use a ps3 controller with phones, because PS3 contollers are linked with their PS3's or PC via Mac Address, so unless there is a full-size usb-to-mini usb (or whatever the phone usb port is called) and someone develops drivers for the phone, you can't use a PS3 controller at all.
On a tablet running 3.1+ could use it wirelessly and wired but only them.

When the Razr is connected to HDTV with HD dock station, it would be great to control it with BT mouse and keyboard. But it could be even better using another Android device as such a remote controller.
I spent hours looking for application that I can install on my XOOM and use it as BT pad and keyboard.
Anyone here was lucky to find something like this?
Thanks!
Bump. I was looking into this as well

Is there an app I can download on my phone and a plug-in I can install?
Check the play store for the photoshop app. Unless you mean something different.
Or do you mean to connect your phone to your pc, and use the s-pen to replace the mouse?

But using a tablet and pen is a very common way to edit with photoshop. The usual method is to use a Wacom or Bamboo tablet
On paper it sounds the same but in reality..... Photoshop is usually about precision. Imagine all the erroneous inputs from the capacitive screen.

That's an amazing point. The Wacom or Bamboo are one-touch, but the GN is multi-touch. This type of device really could be more trouble than its worth for Photshop work. Thanks for the insight.
Is anybody running the sixaxis app and controller properly? How is it? Should I buy a ps3 controller or stick it out with the screen lol.. thanks in advance.

It works well but I have not figured out how to get the analog to work properly or if it is even possible. Makes games like golden eye impossible to play. Other than that it works great.

yeah but u have to have a usb adapter 1st to download the drives, i think somehting like this

that cable will not work. you can use an otg adapter and usb cable with controller to sync but it is not necesary. you can sync controller using a pc and standard usb cable for controller. but if you have otg adapter it is much easier to sync.

I was able to get the analogs working by mapping every single direction to a keyboard key.

Do they work properly? Mine will move in the correct direction but i can't get it to actually function like analog should. So if trying to walk slowly or aim it only moves like a traditional direction pad.

Run the Sixaxis app --> click menu button --> Preferences --> Keyboard Emulation --> Key Mappings --> [Select a controller] --> Edit Mappings.
Configure each controller button (and direction) to a specific keyboard key. If you want to achieve two-player, map Player 1 and Player 2 buttons completely different from each other.
I'll have to try this on my Android PC that I'm going to hook to my tv. GTA3 time!!!

True, this setup is will make the analogs behave like a traditional D-pad. To compensate for this lack of finesse in control, use auto aim

I am pretty sure a generic controller will work but have not tried. I have seen videos of generic controllers running just fine.
