Please help. sys/power files needed - Optimus One, P500, V General

My rooted LG Optimus One it's not sleeping anymore and my screen turns on over and over. So i need original android system files from sys/power. Do you think this idea will help me solve the problem?
Android version: 2.2.2 V10q
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9
FRG83

A temporary solution is to install a lockscreen widget like
market.android.com/details?id=com.blogspot.androidinspain.LockScreen
then you can turn off the screen manually.

Power files from my LGP500.
Android version: 2.2.2 V10q
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9
FRG83

Thank you very much!
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA App

It's working?

Not really. Screen timeout doesn't work and the screen wakes up after phone rebooting. Still trying to solve this. Maybe i'll take a hard reset but i'm concerned about the root. Do you know if i'll loose the root after hard reseting?

If your phone ROM is original, yes, you loose the root and need to root phone again. If your phone ROM is prepared and have root from install, is ok.

I have the original rom...i'm to lazy to do all the work now (hard reset, reinstall apps, root again). I'll try it another time. Thank you again for the support

Anytime!

Need some help with 2.2 update pls

Hi all...
I just got my first Android phone... is an X10i...
I have version 2.1-update1 on it, and i tried 2 custom roms (2.2) with the install from SDcard.
After installing first rom (Froyo_2.2.1_xperia_TripNRaVeR-v1.0.zip) the result you can see it here: 220.ro/documentare/MOV01113/AVtgAccdjh/
After this, i instaled the 2nd rom (FreeX10-beta4.zip + gapps_FreeX10.zip); the result was: it work perfectly but after 30 seconds it was rebooting. it never stops.. the phone start again, and after 30 seconds , again reboot... and so on.
I must mention that the phone is SIM locked, and to work in my network i must unlock it... can this be a problem? if not can any one help me to fix this?
Or can anyone tell me where to find a custom rom that can be flashed with x10flasher? because when i install the rom from SDcard, is loading normally untill 50%, but when it reach 50%, he instantly go to 100%
Some info about my phone:
model: x10i
firmware: 2.1-update1
baseband: 2.1.54
kernel: 2.6.29
Can anyone tell me what is the problem and advice me what to do?
Thanks in advance.

For now you can only flash stock 2.1 roms using the flashtool, everything else you have to use xrecovery.
As far as your phone being sim locked, I really don't think that's related to any of the issues you've mentioned.
Here's what I suggest:
- use the flashtool to flash it back to stock 2.1
- root
- install xrecovery
- try Wolfbreak's custom 2.2 rom from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=945264
the instructions on the first post are kinda confusing but let me know if you have any other questions. Make sure to use the thanks button if any of this helps.
To install custom ROMs, your phone needs to be rooted and then install the ROMs via xrecovery.
Also for Trip's Froyo or Gingerbread ROM, it is preferable to on bb49..

@Lockon Stratos
this rom is working good, is only rom that installs properly and work without reboot, but SDcard is not working, and when i applyed the hotfix, it enter into a reboot loop
@regencyhood
i tried MIUI... same problem... reboot loop
***********************************
i tried again all roms that i have downloaded until now from here, but unsuccessfully
I do not understand why, but ROMs are not installed correctly (i have root and xrecovery installed, i made factory restore, wipe cache, format cache, wipe dalvik cache).
so i think i will stay on 2.1
I was very enthusiastic when i got it, but i see that is not such a great phone with no official update for 2.2, and is low on internal memory (only 465MB data memory and 280MB RAM).

Reason for Reboot on MIUI is because you are on baseband 54 (i.e 2.1.54)....
Recommended baseband is 49, either you flash and change your bb or you can apply a patch... all the necessary help regarding bb is given in the link in my above post...
hope i was helpful
So which one do you want to use trip's froyo or Z's froyo? I hate to say this but I have a feeling it's something you're doing in between installs that could be causing the problem. I say pick one that you want to use/test, flash back to stock 2.1 using je flashtool, root, install xrecovery then flash just one of the custom froyo roms using xrecovery.

Patch BB 54 or rollback BB 52

Yes, it will work.
Regarding the camera I am using "TripNMiUI FINAL 1.0.63" ROM, and the camera is working a-OK. (Pic and Vid included)
Zoom results in FC for me in the stock and MIUI camera app, because of which I use Vignette....

Have you tried to flash back to stock firmware, then re-root.
I know how to root and how to backup the phone. A other problem that comes up when I flash a rom is that it delete everything on the phone. But I learn from my miss takes, so I save to external SD card and remove it when I'm going to "play" with the phone.
I will check the dual thing up and see if that helps. But so far is it still rebooting to cwm or just going black...

Yes I have tried that with ODIN. It was still going to 3e> even tho the phone wasn't rooted. But it's mostly when I charge my phone, when the phone goes black or 3e> mode. I've scanned it both from the phone and computer for virus but nothing was found...

[Q] Dell Streak 5 rebooting problems (S.O.S.)

Well I am having the imfamous rebooting problem with my streak 5.
I am running stock olleh 407 with root. I have tried other roms such as Steve's Gingerstreak rom, DSC, Longhorn, MIUI, and always seems to still have the issue with the phone rebooting for no reason, sometimes out of the blue when not even doing anything, most the time when running applications and 99% of the time with games.. I'd love to get this fixed.. simply because I bought it off of craigslist and love this phone, I cannot goto Dell and try to get help because they need to know where the phone was bought from originally which I have no way of finding the info, I wish I could just get a new warrenty(sp?) but they wont help me out..
any clues? even if I got to go back to froyo to make it stop this crap Im willing too..

Try changing your baseband. The baseband you're using is the beta baseband and that could be the source of your difficulties. I'm surprised however, as I figured 407 would have changed the baseband. Perhaps you're one of the lucky ones to not have the new baseband "stick".
I used to have this problem with resets and no matter what rom i put i got the same result, so by accident i figure it out it was from the back cover, i open up the streak and put something to the senzor so no matter what i do even if i take the cover off the streak is not turning off.
You should shake it and try to hit the back cover but not to hard to damage the streak and see if it is from the cover.
My guess is that the cover is doing that.
my streak restart when i watch youtube video.what can be the problem?Am running a stock rom 407 olleh.
I too use to get random reboots with streakdroid roms and some stock roms. When I installed MIUI 2.4.20 the random reboots stopped.
Im not 100% sure that it was the rom that fixed this but its too much of a coincidence that its the only rom i had no issues with whatsoever.
With every custom rom there is always a detailed guide on the best way to flash to get the best results.
Its absolutely crucial that you follow these guides. It makes a big difference.

where do I download the correct baseband to flash?
nevermind found it.
ok flashing newer baseband.. will update you guys on the reboots.:good:
and so far no reboots! thanks dude.. I hit the thank button for you also.
I follow the directions on the roms to the T but I guess things happen sometimes.
anyways thank you again
While it is certainly not common, it's also not unheard of for a baseband flash to not "take" and have to be reflashed.
I was having the same problem and installed a battery app that reported charge/temp etc. Everything was fine while used for approx 15 mins, but as the temp started to rise thats when rebooting happened. Tried new battery but made no diff, tried a number of roms to no avail.

Thats parts of your problem.
I find that stock roms are totally useless. Thats my opinion.
Yes there are custom roms out there that are still buggy but i find they are all much better that what is offered from stock.
I also find that it necessary to read the whole post before flashing any rom. There are always helpfull hints inside as to how to make your custom rom work without issues.
I sold my dell streak for a htc sensation, I put MIUI and reflashed the DPS1 msnn and it ran like a charm.

your sd card probably gone bad already.. and you may need to reformat it again using sd card adapter ...
however... you need to use streakmod recovery.... if you want to upgrade... i say try DSC 1.0 because all the required file is there at the dev forum...

Hey mate.
What firmware did you flash?
You should have more storage than that. I would flash again without wipe.

Before you factory reset, check to see if you suffer from the wifi dump file problem. (large wifi dump files in /data) See this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1589970
You will need root to both check to see if this is your problem, and to fix it.

[Q] Front Facing Camera Not Working

Hello,
All of a sudden my front facing camera stopped working. I have tried hard reset, clearing cache, and complete wipe.
Any suggestions? The rear camera is working fine. I believe my daughter downloaded many apps that use the front camera.
Could a file be corrupt?
Thanks for your time,
Melissa

Hmm, well that is the most up to date stock version of everything.
At the moment i can come up with 3 possibilities:
1. App conflict. Basically fallls in line with what you said about your daughter downloading apps. There could be an app that is preventing the front camera from being able to be used. Uninstall other apps and see if it works.
2. Camera issue. This is more on the camera app side of things. There could be something within the app that is causing it to not want to connect. Best advice, run a logcat and see what its telling you. It might shed some light on this issue.
3. Hardware issue. In this case, ordering the front camera assembly online and opening up the device to swap out the parts would solve your problem.
I'd recommend trying a custom ROM or flashing the 141 sbf file, but I'd rather fix the issue at this level instead of having you jump from ROM to ROM or even doing a factory reset with the sbf file.

I did see the logcat, but i've been tied up in working in real life and with an attempted KitKat build for the DX. I will try to sit down over the holiday and take a look at it.
To flash the sbf file, you would need the 141 sbf (should still be up on a few sites, a good place to look is das8nt's download page). If you can't find it, I'll try to upload it so you can download it. You would also need RSD Lite 5.7 and Moto Drivers.
-back up all data (contacts, pics, vids, etc.)
-turn off device
-power on device while pressing vol +
-RSD support will be active on the device.
-open RSD Lite
-load 141 sbf
-connect device to computer
-hit show device
-hit start
Flashing sbf's is a last resort, but might be a quick fix. If you do decide to flash the sbf, make sure all data is backed up on an sd card and removed from the device. Sbf's do a complete wipe of a device and reset it to pure factory settings/status.

This is the site I got my 141 sbf file from http://das8nt.com/downloads.html
There are also all (or at least most) of the other necessary files to do any kind of modification to the Atrix.
It sounds like you have a completely stock Atrix that has never been modified. Lets see what the sbf does first before we dive into flashing a custom ROM.

no problem. I guess it was hardware related. I looked at the logcat and that was what I was leaning towards, but I didn't want to misinform you and cause a bigger issue with the device.
