Wacom has recently released the bamboo stylus for the iPad, i would like to know if this will also work with the Folio 100. Any one has tried this, or knows something about it?

Hi all,
I am trying to find stylus for XS. Before you start asking why I need it, let me explain. Recently I got addicted to Draw something game/app. And I need stylus to draw more accurate drawings. I tried pencil with rubber at the end of it, but it does not work due to capacitive screen. Maybe some shops/ebay sells something like that, but I want to buy the one that definitely works and the end of it as thin as possible. Has anybody got experience using something like that? Does stylus for Galaxy Note would work?
Thanks in advance.

Indeed the s-pen is a wacom pen and requires a special wacom layer in the de device.
Any capacitive style will work with xps.
Thanks gents,
I bought this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-High-Sensitivity-Capacitive-Stylus-LCD-Metal-Touch-Pen-iPad-2-2G-/260967974526?pt=UK_Computing_LaptopAccessories_RL&hash=item3cc2e7467e

I got this one as an extra with a case I bought, it works well mostly but sometimes is a bit hit and miss.
If you want something for precise work this might not be to your liking.

Thanks. It has been shipped within an hour after I bought it, but to be honest, like I mentioned, I need it only for Draw Something (and fimiliar later on), so should be fine.
Has anyone tried this stylus with the Flyer? Its a CP323611 from the T2000 series Fujitsu tablets. Their support was awful and doesn't know much about it. I can't tell if it has buttons but the item description says it has 2 on the side and 1 on the end.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003O64BL6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=A18S5N42CV31JE
Their support did say the updated model number is a FPCPN19AP. I know the FPCPN36AP works with it as many people are using them. Just curious on this other option to see if it has both the erase and highlight function like the original HTC pen.
I too need to know if it is compatible and how good this works. Better than the $30 one I saw on buy.com

The link you gave to amazon says the stylus is for Fujitsu T4200 series. I did some digging on the Fujitsu support site for the T4220. There is a vista driver for the "pentablet"; the file name is T4220_PENTABLET_WACOM_V1.2.0.0_VISTA.EXE
The pen we need for the view/flyer is n-trig based (has battery), not wacom based(no battery), so I don't believe it would work.
They don't work... My wife has a Fujitsu 4220 and an HTC View.

awesome. I was gonna get it for raplacing my Thinkpad Yoga which uses wacom. Is it of decent size to hold? no hand cramps?
Do what you want with this. But thought I'd let you guys and gals know that our S.Pen is compatible with touch screen PC's I just tried for the hell of it and hey works great. I used it on my HP touch smart desktop PC.

Yep. Wacom based. Tablet PC stylus will also work on the note. You can get a nice stylus with eraser for cheap on Ebay or Amazon.

Responded too fast....sorry I was under the impression that you said our note would work as a wacom replacement when connected to a pc or a wacom could connect to our note. Must test this when I get home.
Cool that's why I didn't reply

I tried mine at the grocery store, bank and hospital and it works on those plastic pads where you sign your name lol

That's cool seems Samsungs S pen isn't all that exclusive to our note. I assume it has something to do with what ever software on these products that register the pen. As I doubt those products have the same hardware as the note.

It already supports erasing. Lots of reports confirming this. Do a search.

This only works with certain Wacom models though, and only certain Tablet PC models. It doesn't work with my Toshiba Satellite R25 Tablet PC OR my Graphire 3 Wacom tablet.
I was wondering if there is any way to get the pen of the Surface Pro to work on our tab. Working at Staples I got a chance to try it but of course it did not work. Wondering if anyone with more knowledge could help out.

Also tried it out in one of the shops here. Actually feels that it works the same way as Samsung's Note series. So far no one have made it work as I suspect that our display responds to just purely capacitive touch.

Actually our tabs have the Atmel touch sensor and they are working on a stylus, mxts100, that should work with our tab. There is a YouTube video showing the stylus at work with a Verizon 10.1 tab. I have contacted then as well as their authorized retailers and no one can give me a release date or price this is the one thing our tab is missing, aside from JB, in order to be complete.
It would be nice if maybe someone would give the Surface Pro Pen a try and see if it could work with our tab.

Simple answer : NO.
Surface uses a wacom digitizer, just like the Note.

Good evening.
I was looking for a stylus for the TF300, but I didn't know what should I buy. I'd use it for underline pdfs and taking notes with Supernote.
Is there anything like the Samsung S Pen? I'd like to spend less than 20 euros.
Thanks in advance
I'd like to know this too...anyone help?
Maybe with an UP...
Only stylus for iPads or normal android phone or works with iPhone will work. But they're not very accurate it's like drawing with your finger but it's a stick as the stylus had big surface area so that the even can detect it.

Any capacitive style stylus will work. Mostly anything listed here will work. Obviously the cheaper they are the lower quality they are. My step mom bought her Stylus for 10 bucks, its all metal, i got 3 for 5 bucks, they are all plastic.
the ones best buy sells are awesome. i think its targus brand? i use it for everything.

I bought a cheap aluminum one today with a felt tip, it it works pretty well with a light touch, and no screen protector.
Specifically, the tip is a rubberish felt material, that slides across the screen easily without getting stuck.
this may sound dumb, but do you guys rest your palms on the screen when you write? i am hating the "only the pen touching" thing. if i rest my palm though, it doesnt know where i want to write. Anybody else seeing the predicament here? Thoughts? techniques? am i missing something obvious? i liked the idea of a stylus until this manifested itself.

Would be complex but cool. But so is the star trek tablet I am using! I guess time will prove that. Just wish I could contribute.

I think certain note apps have the palm rejection capability. I believe Lecture Notes does, but I haven't tried it with the TF300T yet.

If you look in the play store, there are a few apps with palm rejection for notetaking, if thats what you want.

About two years ago I bought a metal stylus with a rubber tip from a pound shop in the UK. I wondered if it would work with my Galaxy S2 but of course it didn't. Still, I'm glad I didn't throw it away because a year later when I tried it on my tf300t it worked like a charm.

Yeah I probably have the same generic one. It works pretty well considering I got it for free.
