Hey guys,
I was wondering if there's an app that...if we scan a sentence on a newspaper etc..through some kind of app and it types by itself..!? If you guys know it please share it with me. ! Thank you!

Ooh that's a great idea and I'm sure someone's tried it. But there are over 200 000 apps and I don't recall ever seeing something quite like it.
There are apps that will type when you talk! And QR scanning apps. Look @ Google for something like the one you want. I'd imagine it would have something to do with the word "scan"

Download music from where? Are you wanting to buy songs? Stream songs? Pirated songs? BitTorrent?

Well, that's the one area I wouldn't know but you can have a look at this:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.cinderella.music&feature=search_result
Music box pro
Best in my opinion & it's free

My God, it's not that hard to find one yourself. Just go to the Market and type in "mp3 download" and tons of nice apps that do pretty much the same thing will come up. I don't think you should ask unless you've looked and didn't find anything that worked.
I don't think jumping on him helped much here. If he is new to Android sometimes when you look for a particular type of app several pop up and you never know which one actually works best or has issues. Sometimes it's nice hearing from people that have tried apps before you download and waste time.
gtunes is pretty good

It's just like searching Google, or anything else. It's not hard and it doesn't matter if you are "new to Android" or not I don't think. If you type 'mp3 download' (a pretty common thing you would think to type if you want to download mp3s) on the Market, I literally just now did it, the first 8 things that come up will all work fine. It's just a matter of which one you like the best. It's an opinion and everyone has their own. For example: the guy above likes Gtunes while I hate it, and use MP3 Music Download Super. You have to learn to form your own opinions...so anyways, it has nothing to do with being new to Android, you just search like you do anything else, and LEARN on your own.
Im not new to android and I did search those up, however, I have no clue what else is on their servers where they get their music. Things could be infected, that's why I asked what you guys recommend.

Ok now that you put it that way I see your point lol.

Ahh...yea I don't get what the whole deal is with the whole Android getting viruses and everything...they aren't like computers, and the only way something could get on your phone and do something you don't want is through installing an apk file that you give the permissions to. No file other than .apk can be twined with a "virus" and "infect" your phone....I don't know why so many people think that.
Music Junk is the best....imho

I just posted this thread because i couldn't find that list, if you know where it is then please tell me, theres no need to be all smart and everything.
I am hoping the guy who posted it reads this thread and points me to it.
consegregate said it all if you can read it...
lauchers are not at all made for specific phone.. so whichever you find is specified as launcher install it from market and use it... nothing special to research on it.. and if you want someone to recommend it for you then google might recommend you something

Hey, everyone. This is Obasi42, creator of Obasi Apps and Quick-Notes for the S Pen. Please don't take this thread as an advertisement for my application. I am simply desperate for your help right now.
As you may know, there is a contest going on right now for the best S Pen applications. I understand that my application isn't nearly good enough to win, but I do want to have a fighting chance out there. So, to anyone who already uses my app, or anyone who is curious to find out more, or anyone who just wants to help: can you please tell me what features you would like implemented in this application?
Here's a link to it in the market (it's free!):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.obasiapps.productivity.quicknotes
Bonus question: I'm also creating a gaming app, so what games would you like created for the S Pen?
The competition ends Tuesday, so, you can see why I'm in a hurry.
Thanks!
I tried it out. It's a good, basic memo app. Here are my criticisms-
I would much prefer this show up as an app. I like to have my search button go directly to vlingo.
It's a bit too basic. The s-pen memo app that comes with the phone does the same thing except you have a lot more color choices.
I'd really like to be able to embed pics and maybe voice notes.
Your app is definitely on to a good start. Good luck with the competition!

Why can't I run your app on my Note? I have it installed but its icon is not with the other apps. When I go into settings, it shows that it is installed, but there is no way for me to launch it.
Weird.

Odd, I'm having the same issue...
Sorry about that. In the description, it explains that a search button long-press will open up the application.
When you open the app it says it won't be listed in your apps and to long press the search button

I also dont like how s-memo isnt sensitive enough. Id like a quicker response. If you could over come this in your app as far as software is concerned then i applaud you.

Had that issue also. I'm rooted so I installed touchscreentune and it sorted that all out. Samsung needs to come up with a native app that does the same thing.
Amazing work.
However i can't visit the market on my network. Any alternative method to get it?
can you make your app available upon double click with s-button
says my gnote isnt compatible

Here's my take on the search button long press to launch. Some ppl have reassigned the search button. That may affect the operation without an app drawer icon.
Note...where BIGGER is better!
Play store says the app is not compatible with my Note and Captivate. Wth.
Running stock ICS btw.
These are two apps i made... Do you guys have any suggestions/feedback to how i can improve these apps?

no problem, you could just use a spyware protection app like lookout, but im just trying to get advice on my apps.
The first is a twitter app i made. It doesnt have a timeline. its basically for rapid tweeting or for people who dont care what others have to tweet and just want to tweet.
The second app is an app that just speaks whatever u type. it as as boring as you are. so if you are a boring person than the app will be boring. it can be very humorous with the right words and phrases.
It's been a long time seeing these weird characters everywhere, now I would like to know how to get it. I know that it's could be a keyboard or something like this but I can't found it.

They are not. The screenshot was not at all related to Instagram btw. Saw the same thing on twitter, that's probably something specific to apple users.
But thanks for trying to help rootSU, not like the other ..
Its called "emoji"

I think it's called EMOJI. You can have it if you install GO Keyboard, Kii Keyboard or iPhone Emoji Keyboard from Playstore.
Hope this helps!:good:
Yes its an Apple specific thing. That's how the emojies are read on android.
