The SGS2 unlocked you can use on the softbank and you can get a USIM only on DoCoMo
However wait till monday the SGS2 will be released on DoMoCo as the SC-02C
Rob

Holy Cow !!!!!
85,000 JPY for a SC2 that's 650 UKP
I wouldn't buy it from there .. look at Clove in the UK 528UKP and if you export it to japan they knock the Vat off so it's 440 UKP with 35ukp shipping thats 62,000 JPY
I have used clove before and they are very good

really? thanks!
can u give me the site then for this clove? actually i am currentl under two year contract with softbank (packethodai) so it would be xpensive if i transfer to docomo. so i just plan to get one unlock SGS2 and just use my sim now. current handset is htc desire

u mean i have to get a usim from docomo to use it? cant i directly insert the softbank sim i have now?

I'm currently using it with Docomo + Mopera. It works, but I was charged 9900 Yen for the data plan instead of the flat 5000 yen

Yup, good news. It also has digital TV. There's no way I'm not going to be getting one of these at launch. Tethering is also supported (for an extra fee).

[Q] Trade Vibrant for G2x?

I found a guy who is willing to trade his mint condition G2x for a samsung vibrant + an Ipod touch. My vibrant is on a 2 year contract, am I crossing any rules if I just put my sim card in his G2x? Without doing anything to t-mobile?

So I would not be crossing any rules just changing the sim card in the phone? Im not going to get a fee or something?
Nope not at all but they will know that u changed ur phone do lol

yes you can change phones, your contract only dictates the terms of using T-Mobiles Network, any GSM phone that supports there network frequencies are fair game. I used to buy euro phones and sell my contract discounted phone on ebay. T-mobile doesn't care what you do with the hardware after you purchase it.

Unlock one x + on o2 uk

Hello all, I am currently rocking a galaxy note 2, love it, but its size is its greatest feature, but also its worst. I have decided to get a one x +, getting it on a super cheap O2 contract. I want to continue to use my three sim card, so my question is firstly does a uk O2 htc one x + come.network locked, and if it does where is the best place to get it unlocked. My three sim card comes with truely unlimited data, so want to continue to use it. Ibl have searched the forum, but can only find threats to do with at&t.
Thank you for any responses.

i have an o2 uk one, and i had to get it network unlocked, i got hasoon2000 to do it for me.
I just filled the unlocking form in on the O2 website, and they got back to me within 24hrs with the code.
Great, how long did you have the phone for before you were able to request the unlock code. Oh, and cheers for the super fast reply.

Where can I find HOX+ in Manhattan?

Hey, a friend is in New York this week and I asked for an HOX+. He asked where he's able to find a store that sells it unlocked.
Does anyone know?
Thanks!
you can not use a HOX+ from USA outside this country
So there's no unlocked version?

So he can buy on any AT&T store, full price, and ask for the unlock code, right? Would they unlock the phone or should I unlock it via AT&T's support channels?
i have the AT&T X+ in the UK unlocked and it works fine just no LTE\4G

I'm in Houston Texas and I have an unlocked HTC one x+. Why don't you order it off of Amazon and have it shipped to your friends house?
That's how I got my hands on the phone. I'd rather do that than buy that att version. Unless you're planning on using LTE on att

So he just need to ask for the unlock code and insert another carrier sim and text the code, right?

SIM unlocked now what?

Ok so now that I got my AT&T ONE unlocked, Which prepaid carrier has the best performing data and plays nice with our phones?
I'm thinking of getting out of my contract if I find a carrier that has decent performing data. But of course this could be a moot point, from what I heard AT&T's coming out with new prepaid plans.

Where did you get your unlock code? I'm in Canada with a Rogers Wireless HTC One and I'm limited with 1GB of data where I used to have 3GB with Virgin Mobile. I'm thing about going back to Virgin. I'm paying $70 a month with unlimited Canada wide, unlimited SMS/MMS and 1GB data is too much. I only need 200 minutes of talk time but I like a lot of data.

[Q] Is the HTC One on T-Mobile's website as a upgradeable phone?

Well as the title says,
IS the HTC One available on T-Mobile's Website on the Phone Upgrade page ( when you are logged into the website.)
I can't check because my mother has to pay the bill because it is past due, which i know that the upgrade phone menu won't work unless the bill is current.
So is it available to get as an upgradeable phone?

I'm on the extended payment plan. But it depends upon your payment history and credit score as to what they offer.

When you purchase it online, can you choose how much you want to pay as down payment? I was looking to pay about 80% of the price from the sale of my old phone, but this isn't exactly a deal breaker either way haha.
My credit is great, but I couodnt pay it off in payments. Why you ask? I'm in dc for few months, payment program isn't available to dc residents
