Could anybody with the skills make an oc module for the play. That would be awesome, then the play could be oc'ed without unlocking the bootloader nor flashing

Started working on a new kernel that supports 245000-1800000 MHz. However, there are some compilation errors (which should'nt be there LOL) waiting an answer from SE.

Yeah I'm getting a zimage, just doing arch=arm make
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
here's how it works for me:
install sdk and ndk. set up path to sdk/platform-tools and every folder with binaries in ndk.
then, arch=arm, cross-compile=arm-eabi- make
if you get compilation errors, simply add make menuconfig to disable problematic kernel part.

I'm working on getting a 3.4 kernel working i've gotten past the first few compile errors and i've gotten the ruby-panel file compiled right now i'm stuck on a implicit declaration (idk that much C so if someone could tell me what that is it would be great) but it's coming along.
Heres the source github.com/cm-msm8660/android_kernel_htc_msm8660 ruby-3.4 branch
Keep up the excellent development work sportsstar!

If you can, could you please please work on it more and try to get it to work we really need to get a working kernel for jb sense. If you can create a working ION kernel then a bunch of sense jb roms will pop out in the development section because Chevy already made some. However, only the kernel is missing. I will probably make a JB sense rom too.

I'll make a Sense 5 ROM, or port one, once we get a 3.4 kernel from @ravike14. :good:
Shouldn't be too long since SebastianFM is helping him.
The reason why we can't get one right now is because we need a kernel, or it won't boot.
I've got the port ready, just waiting for the kernel...
There is progress, but nothing ready for release yet.

It should be perfectly stable depending on the kernel. What we really need is the Bluetooth drivers from TI (Texas Instruments) but they're proprietary unfortunately, plus HTC and TI don't care about us so they won't release their CODE.
