For some reason I can't get my HTC Sense for Facebook to sync.
Everything else syncs fine but I get the message:
Sync is currently experiencing problems it will be back shortly
Any help?

I'm getting the same thing, my live feed hasn't updated since April 16th. I've searched here and the web and I can't find anything to fix it. And it's not an app that we can uninstall (unrooted) because it's one of the stock apps (not that I'd know where to re-download it from).

I'm with ya both. I am experiencing the exact same issue, except no solution I can find anywhere, and its frustrating, to the point my device is freezing up at times.
I basically removed the account from the app and used the official facebook app from the market with no issues so far. The only con might be that it wont integrate facebook properly with the phone contacts.
Looking at HTC/Facebook to fix this...

Hello everyone.
I've recently upgraded my Gingerbread-Based RAZR to ICS. My Rom is middle eastern version by the way.
Everything seems fine except the problem I have with the touch in the Internet browser and Facebook. when I touch a search result in the browser or a picture in Facebook for example, an orange frame appears somewhere else and navigates me to some other link or picture! The thing is, when I hold my finger on the result/picture I tend to open, the orange frame comes to where it should be and the correct link/picture will be opened.This problem only happens with apps related to the internet, and the touch works perfectly fine in any other apps/environments.
I made a factory reset and installed miui rom on my Razr, and no matter how lovely the Miui theme is, the results are the same.
Does anyone else have had a similar issue? Any ideas what should I do?

hi guys have any of you had similar problems like this? where the icon for the sync is constantly next to my contacts regardless if i enable it or disable it or reflash a new rom with full wipe. even though the contacts have synced just right, i find that the time last synced is stuck at an earlier time. does anyone know how i can fix this? i think its causing additional battery drain.

I think that's just the way it is.
when you modify a contact via computer, does it syncs instantly?
if so, it's ok.

I have the same problem as well. If I update my contacts on the phone, they are not getting synced to the cloud. If I update my contacts on the web, it gets updated on the phone, but minutes later. Used to happen instantaneously. Something's definitely broken here. At least for me.

Hello xda devs and members i am having a really strange issue with my samsung S3 Model SCH-I535. The problem is about facebook, i usually don't use facebook app as i find it leggy and unnecessary coz i use fb to check fb posts only... The problem is when i purchased s3 and performed a factory reset and then installed my desired apps. After completing this step i opened chrome to browse facebook but surprisingly it showed me text mode of facebook with no images and colors. i thought it might be a browser issue i installed mozilla firefox but still ended up with that text version of facebook... it happens in all third party apps who redirect us to fb to share or like certain stuff. I've googled to get this issue fixed and to see if someone else has had the same issue and how did he overcome from that.. but it seems like i am the only one who's having this issue and living in a hope to get out of this

Try "request desktop site" in chrome (press menu once, scroll down).

I don't see any desktop site option...
So, I purchased this neat dash cam/backup cam/GPS Android-powered rear view mirror from eBay and received it today. I've been playing around with it a bit and I'm curious first off, if anyone on XDA happens to have it. I'm curious if anything has been done to it yet.
I have an issue signing into an account with it, Google Account Manager crashes when I try creating a new account and it doesn't connect to the server when I try logging into an existing account. I tried all the normal fixes (clear cache, etc) with no success. I have internet access though because I'm able to use browser and navigation. Also, the speech is super annoying. It's in "English" but it's a super strong Chinese accent and I can't change it or download any other voice options.
If anyone is curious for more information on it, let me know and I'll provide what I can. I want to toy around with it a bit and I'm hoping someone has already done so. I also need to fix the issues I'm having and I'm not sure where to begin. I've been out of the development game since GS3.

The best tasks app that ever was, I'm starting to have issues, Google is blocking on one phone and I can't add new lists on others. Veg disappointing
@HenryHvPa What do you not like about Google Tasks?
I like the ability to quickly enter, indent, move multiple items too other lists, without entering dates or any other extra data

Google made some changes how apps access Google Account. I remember going to security tab and creating new password for every app separately. Did you try it? I don't remember why I didn't continue with it.
