First, sorry for my bad english, :s
I have a htc hd 1 generation but it have WM6.5 like the hd2.
Since a few days, I saw that the facebook profile pictures of my friend who are in my phonebook don't sync. I ask to my friend and I saw that it the same think to all other htc device with WM6.5.
Somebody have a solution for me?

Try looking for a piece of software for your phone called BOOKSYNC - it will sync ur facebook friends pics with ur outlook entries. It won't sync automatically, but you can run it weekly (or more regularly if you want) to keep them in sync!

go on facebook, and disable https in the account settings.

Having a feew buggs in it, I loos my e-mail acounts after a wile and can not register a new whit the same name... Anyone having this problem or know how i can colve it??

I had the same problem. Was pointed to this website:

by another post on here. Fixed it great. File attached.
Run it in portrait mode, not landscape. It will restore accounts one at a time. You will have to check settings when email accounts are restored.

Should have said. I had problem with official HTC WM6 ROM, not PK version. It's not a bug in his ROM.
Thanks you for the update, it helped all my acounts are back
Found another bug in this WM6 PK. When i add an contact in my Office Outlook and the sync it with Activesync it shuld come up in my contacts on my HTC, but it dosent. So i tryed to send it with mail and saved it. it sill dos not come up in my contact. but if i sync it again it will come up on my computer.
Have anyone had this problem??

first i would like to apologize about my bad English..hope you'll understand everything.
so i really liked the idea that android on HTC hero can take contacts pictures and birthdays from Facebook ..but every time i roaming for a new version i have to link each person to his Facebook (because all of my contacts are in Hebrew so it can't take it by it self)
so it is possible to take a full back up of the contacts with the Facebook info ?

When I synchronize facebook for the first time, all facebook event appear in my google agenda (like all birthday dates).
But after a reboot, they all disappear. I searched on all settings available in the agenda or in the contact software but I can not find anything.
Somebody know how to do ? Is this issue depend of the ROM ? (perhaps legend ROM can do it ?)
PS : I'm actually using the Villain5.22 (Thanks a lot for this very nice ROM)
PS2 : Sorry I should maybe put this topic in general discussion but I don't know if this is a ROM problem or something else. I had the same problem in every ROM I tested...

Got myself a SIII. Rooted it and added superSU according to Chains tutorial..
I have some problems with facebook, and was wondering whether anyone can help..
Firstly, after linking the accounts. Some of the photos appear as blank. Anyone have a clue? Those that have photos, are really blur.
Also, outside app such as Whatsapp are not picking up those contact photos.
I'm moving from an HTC so i am amazed that samsung has this problem. Is there a solution such as "Facebook for HTC Sense".
Am i just doing it wrong? many thanks for any help

Your case is the same as mine. I came from the HTC Desire HD, which all the contacts were always synchronized with Facebook, no problems with photos and etc.
I posted the same questions here a few weeks ago, and from what I got, the ICS has some compatibility issues with Facebook, that's why it sync just a few contacts and also the quality is terrible.
The solution that people told me, was to use 3rd party softwares to make this sync. There is quite a few on market that does that. Just look for "facebook photo sync".
The solution I adopted, was to set the photos of facebook for my contacts manually, and I just realized how to do that now. Since I don't have many contacts, I entered quickly on their facebook profile, went to the photo I wanted and selected the option "set as contact photo".
To enter on their contact, I was doing directly by my contact phone list (because the facebook was linked correctly... just the photo that wasn't appearing).
The quality with that also gets better and when I enter on What's App now, is everything fine.

Those two apps didnt work really well for me. The app that worked best for me was an app called "Contact Picture Sync". Did everythin i wanted.

Hi Guys. I had a HTC HD 2 a 2years ago. Now i bought a new one and I would like sync my FB contact with my contact in phone and FB sync doesnt function. I see what people wrote on wall but i cant see their Profile foto. Can you help me somebody please with this problem? Thank you soo much for reply
