Leave it on in that advisory screen for at least 8 hours until that message disappears. It would show "enter subsidy code" again. Make sure you buy a new correct unlock code and try it again.
If this doesn't work, it is actually locked for good.

because i'm having the same problem, but i leave it with the message for more than 8 hours and nothing.. i leave it also with the screen turned on, and nothing.
when i reboot the phone, i see the message to insert the code, but after 1 minute the "contact service provider" screen appears again.

This is how I get my Atrix unlocked:
1. I bought an unlock code from gsmliberty.com
2. the procedure states that you have to insert a non-allowed sim card and when the phone powers on, a screen appears to input the code. This is wrong!!!! what It is real (in case of TELCEL MX) is that you do not have to insert a non-allowed sim just from Dial pad input #073887*, this will direct you to the screen code lock input and there you must type the code you bought, in my case from GSMLiberty.com
3. That's all, you can test with a second chip, like movistar and there you will test and view your phone is unlocked!!

i try that, and the cel show me the screen code lock input, but when i put the code, now gives me an error "unsuccessful unlocked"
Do you think is the code?

Hello Ilive in Mexico too and ordered my unlock code from cellunlock.net with code android50 it gave me 50% off so it was $7.99
I received my code a couple of hour latter and followed this instructions, it worked like a charm!!
now my atrix ex-telcel is unlocked

i bought another code (they give me the same code by the way..) so it's the phone..
i leave it on, with the message and the screen on for like.. 2 weeks or a little bit more! and nothing...

I just bought a Sony Xperia X10 (orange phone). I am trying to get the phone to work on Vodafone Ireland.
I got the unlocking codes on a site. tried them the phone seemed to unlock.
When I power the device up it asks me to enter my pin as normal. Then I am propmted to enter a Network unlock pin. I have tried entering the Unlock code, my PIN, my unblock code. It keeps telling me that pin is wrong & for me to contact my network operator.
When using an orange SIM, phone works ok.
I presumed that the unlock code was wrong so I went to a shop to get the unlock code & they supplied me with code I got over the net.
Any one have this problem, or now to resolve it. I have all providers and repsonse are as follows:
Orange: You are not existing customer.... Cant help you
Vodafone Ireland: Contact orange or go to a shop to get it unlocked.
Internet site: Still awaiting reply
Any one got any ideas or solutions.

what is the exact message that you get when you enter the unlocking code:
1- Wrong Code
Or
2- Sim Locked, Contact Opertor.

If the phone tells you to contact the operator it means that the wrong unlock code was entered for more than 5 times... so maybe the guy you bought it from entered some unlock codes for fun?
The phone is now blocked and the right unlock code won't help you anymore... I have the same problem and as far as I know the only possibility is to go to the operator who locked the phone, in your case Orange. I'm sure they will help you, but they won't do it for free of course

Call att. I have never had a problem with them telling me the correct way to reset the phone for free and get the pulk code. I have read other posts that if you've had the phone for six months they will tell you the unlock code.

Hi, i`ve bought an unlock code for 5 euro. And i recieved it. But the problem is i dont know how to enter it. When you put a foreign sim card to locked phone it asks for code i think. But photon does not ask any codes. How can i enter the unlock code i bought? Was that just a waste of money?

yes that was a waste of money. the phone is already UNLOCKED for international usage but it is locked for any other sim carrier in the USA. outside of usa you can use it freely.

start up process is common with all android devices.
one time process as long yu do not factory reset.
Next time donate 5euro to some dev so that we have some goodies.

So I already got my unlocking code for the Nokia Lumia. Fine.
But when I tried to type the sequence that I received in the e-mail with the unlocking code, I just can't introduce it!
I'm suppose to enter this:
1. Switch ON your phone without a SIM card
2. Compose #PW+CODE+7# or #PW+CODE+1#
The letter P appear after press 3 times quickly the button star ( * )
The letter W appear after press 4 times quickly the button star ( * )
The letter + appear after press 2 times quickly the button star ( * )
But I'm not able to type P nor W. Not even with the method of the button star.
Any hint?

Does anybody know how to introduce the unblocking code? I even tried starting the phone with another's carrier sim and introducing the code that I have, but it's too long and it doesn't fit in the space given.

Perhaps you don't have the right code, if it doesn't fit in the text box...

I have sim-unlock my SFR Lumia and i had the same problem, then this's what i do:
Put another sim card inside and after pin code the phone will invite you to enter the unlock code; tape directly your code and tape "Call", it work for me.

I unlocked an HTC Surround and it might be the same process because it's a Windows Phoendevice, what the CSR told me was that I needed to turn off the device and insert the new sim card, once it boots it gives you a notification that it doesnt recognize the sim card and it asks you to enter the unlocking code.
It was as simple as that but not sure if on Nokia's there's a different process.

I have the same issue, received the unblock code from AT&T for my NOKIA LUMIA 900 RM-808, it has 8 digits but did not work, the code supplier told me that I have to use the following format: #pw+CODE+1# where CODE is the one sent to me 8 digits long, however, my key pad to enter the code just has numbers, someone know if I can get a alpha numeric key pad to enter the #,p,w?

Only if you have sfs backup from before you blocked the PIN. You need to restore,
and then enter the valid PIN you got.

Hi,
I just been told in another forum that some networks provide PUK codes from
Nokia database. Maybe you can call the guys who sold you the PIN and ask for
PUK instead, not sure if it will work.

I purchased a brand new Samsung Galaxy Alpha Direct from Vodafone UK. My sim is under Orange/EE.
I purchased a NUC code from an unlocking vendor online. I entered the correct IMEI number as requested and received the code a few days later. I entered the code and received a message saying "Network request unlock unsuccessful."
Went through troubleshooting with the vendor and could not get it working. A refund was given.
I decided to Vodafone UK to have the phone unlocked direct through them as I thought maybe a dodgy code was given. I received my code yesterday, followed the instructions and again the same message appears.
I was growing tired with this so decided to take it to an independent experienced phone unlocker/repairer and explained the situation to him. I give him the code and he tried various different things and was baffled as this should be an easy process.
The phone is running android 4.4.4
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have a phone here I cannot use :crying:

I just unlocked note 4 from Vodafone. I got 4 unlock codes. One is for sim and the other 3 for aomesthing more deeper in the sistem Just worked with the sim unlock code. My question for you is: if you tryed 2 different ( online and Vodafone) YOU SHOULD GOT THE SAME CODE FOR SIM UNLOCK because is strictly related to your IMEI. Is that the case?
P.S. 1.On Google play is a program Note 4 unlock. I got my unlock code in 50 minutes in the day of international launch of note 4. You should try that.
2. Write with Odin a stock firmware and try again your unlock code after that
3. To enter your unlock code you have to insert an non accepted sim in your phone, power up your phone and enter the code when you are asked. Did you do that?
