I would try to Odin cwm again and boot straight into it and do a full wipe. Format all of your non SD card options and reflash the rom and then flash the correct kernel and you should be good to go. If that doesn't work then go for the all in one eb01.

Do you have links for those files? I can't seem to find a working link to download those files..thanks
please help me all the way

If you can still boot into CWM, just boot into recovery and flash a new kernel that is meant for the Fascinate and you should be ok. If not, you'll need one of the Odin all-in-one packages.

Odin this recovery: http://www.mediafire.com/file/06al8prkgj29gps/cwm-recovery-ALL-3-30-FIX.tar and boot straight into recovery and do a full wipe then reflash what you wanted to flash in the first place. You could even just reflash the correct kernel first without wiping and that should work.

it's not working..it sais e: can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1

you cant just odin the recovery, need to odin a full package rom/kernel/recovery thing. go to the dev section and the stickys have links to everything in them. find the edo1 odin package flash it. get the cwm-all-recovery odin file from jts thread(there is a link to it in the sticky as well) cause I'm assuming you had 2.5.x red recovery. odin it next. if you had the 3.0.x recovery just find it and flash it cwm. do a full wipe then restore the backup. the restore only works with the recovery that you backed it up with to. gl
edit: if you phone still turns on you can fix it

Duh, it just occurred to me that you have the wrong kernel flashed and therefore you can't Odin that recovery. Sorry man. You have to do the all in one. Search the forum "erasing the clockworkmod confusion" by gizmodroid and follow his instructions.

No problem but if you odined the EB01 all in one then that means you have the EB01 radio. If I were you I would Odin the EC01 radio. Better battery life and better data/signal etc.

Don't do this as this will wipe your backups and apps and all other data on your internal sd card. Use euguenes froyo that does not brick, then when you get stuck at the clockwork recovery screen using that (this is normal) odin back to stock using this:
http://androidspin.com/2010/08/09/how-to-restore-or-recover-your-samsung-vibrant/
Yea download the froyo that doesny brick from euegenes page flash that via coding without pit file then take off battery and flash regualr stock beware this will wipe entire sd

getting into red recovery after installing wrong kernel

My sch-i500 was in sc2.9.1 with no voodoo, so I wanted to change the kernel to voodoo so I mistakenly installed voodoo kernel 5.5, which was for gt-i9000.
it looped the boot, so I turned it off and reinstalled sc2.9 by odin. I was able to boot, but I cannot get into red recovery even after applying cwm-recovery-ALL by odin; when I boot into recovery, blue recovery shows up and it says:
"E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblkOp2
(No such file or directory)"
how can I get back to super clean 2.9.1 with voodoo lagfix?
Honestly the easiest way to make sure you are on a clean install would be to flash back to stock with the DL09 (i think) odin package.
Do a search its floating around somewhere. It will bring you to stock and make sure everything is clean.

I know how to do that way, and that is my last resort...
I just want to know if there's any way to fix the problem without going back to stock. I really hate to reset all my settings/apps/data...man I regret not backing up my phone.
You can flash other rom but it will show same error.
Just back up stuff using titanium backup. I've flashed my phone more than ten times and titanium really come handy.
You sure can search every site but you will eventually use my guide
Like I said, I had same exact problem.

Sadly stocking your fascinate may be the only way to go.
If you are able to navigate around in the stock recovery you might be able to find a way to launch red cwm through it or clear the caches and try reflashing with odin.
Good luck!

[Q] Please help

Hi guys, I really need help restoring my phone back to working order. I made the dumb mistake of flashing a stock 2.2 kernel while using the bionix 1.3.1 rom. Now my phone is stuck on the team whiskey logo loop. I can not get into recovery using the volume plus power button anymore. It sends me into samsung recovery 2e. How do I go about fixing this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
Hmmm...might use Odin to flash the kernel from the Bionix.zip? I'm guessing you didn't disable lagfix before flashing the stock kernel. Shouldn't be a big deal if that's the case.
Edit: That's of course assuming you can get into Download Mode.
Edit 2: Not sure how easily you can flash only a kernel using Odin. Might try Heimdall if that doesn't work?
Agreed! Whats the kernel you tried to flash? Link maybe? It really shouldnt be any problem maybe it just needed to sit. In either case it sounds like the update.zip should still be there. Try reinstall:update see if that werks. Good luck!
I just realized what exactly I did that caused everything to mess up. I wiped the cache partition which erased my data including the update.zip. Can anyone provide the 3 files I need to return my phone back to stock condition using Odin. I found the thread but the links did not work anymore.

Unfortunately I don't because I used ryan's oneclicklagfix as the method of rooting so I never had the update.zip on my computer. I been looking into restoring it back to factory everything but the links for the baseband, kernels, etc are not working. Do you know any working links?
I believe everything you need should be able to be found in the guide:

Good luck!

No they don't, sometimes you have to odin a few times to get it to co-operate. Go Here and it should tell you what you want to know.
Full DL09 from adrynalyne from the "how to get to ED01 quickly" thread, the atlas_v2.2.pit and have repartition checked usually does the trick. Dont discredit odin with out trying everything first.
Also, dont immediately go back into download mode and flash a recovery let it do one full first boot, stock recovery needs to format some stuff.

i apoligize for not explaining myself fully i didnt mean to discredit odin i was just curious to see if they always worked because i flashed the restore package

[q] cwm 3.0.2.8

Hey all,
Totally went back to stock...so started with DL09 and then proceeded up to ED04. I installed CWM (red) and rebooted into it and then rooted my phone. Worked great...this morning decided to wipe the battery stats...now it just goes to the Samsung (blue) recovery one. I decided to reflash with ODIN and it still just gives me the Samsung one. Any ideas on how to get this working again???
It sounds like your flash may have failed. Maybe try it again. It might be easier and more reliable to use heimdall in this situation as well.
Also, I know it's early, but this is a question and should be posted in the appropriate section.

You have to download this and ODIN to the phone ...
Code:
http://goo.gl/QCYxT
... What's happening is when you are booting up fully it is replacing the new recovery with the stock recovery... flash this, then flash CWM .. all will be cool!!
More information can also be had in this post..

Heimdall works like Odin. Cwr is being overwritten by the stock kernel, you should flash a custom kernel if you want cwr to stick.
*Edit...beat me to it. :/

You may have to flash a custom kernel to get your recovery permanent. I did the same thing to get the ed04 ota.
1. Flash the dl09 tar file in odin, don't reboot.
2. Flash the cwm3 odin file of your choice, don't reboot.
3. Boot into recovery using the 3 finger salute (should be the one you just odined).
4. Flash the custom kernel of your choice & reboot.
That should keep it rooted & keep cwm available to you, at least it did for me. The key, fwig, is to repalce the stock kernel cuz that is what will replace cwm when it boots.
