can someone whom own already the device to tell us some impression regarding battery life?
I think 4 hours use is about right, but remember I have only charged the battery once so far. This is a superb device even though it is a bit expensive.

I have these batteries from a Sensation. They seem to FIT the Amaze, but will they hurt the phone in any way if I use them? Can anyone confirm?
Thanks in advance!
CHICHITEC 1900 mAh Batteries for Sensation
From what I read it should not just as some people were using the Evo 3D batteries in the sensation and it was fine.

I was trying to give the standard battery one more day before I bail on it.... I guess it's worth trying, right....? Eek!
I sent an email to the CHICHITEC people actually and was sort of waiting to hear from them.
Oh OK. I put my anker battery in and within an hour the battery % went down 17%...not looking good. How well does the stock battery work for you?
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using XDA App
Also someone on different post stated the amaze battery was 3.8v vs. Sensation 3.7v. I wonder if it makes any kind of a difference. (Anker 3.7v as well)

My stock battery has been astonishingly good today - 25% in 6 hrs 15 min. Granted I'm on Wi-Fi and it's only been moderate use, but that's pretty darn good. All my sync and notifications are running in the background and GPS is on.
Guess I'll get brave with the CHICHITEC next week? Or see how I do with a heavier use day tomorrow?
I use my 2 anker batteries that I had for my sensation on the amaze and works like a charm...
the only thing that concerns me is that the amaze battery is 3.8v and the sensations anker battery is 3.7v Wonder if that matters or not... so far so good tho...
Is it possible to use a thunderbolt slim battery with the rezound with out any issues? Sorry if it's been asked a lot. I don't have much time to search forums. Thanks in advanced.

I heard many people doing this to get better battery life.
But I would wait for someone who actually has done this to reply.
The standard battery works but doesn't register the percentage/battery level and won't charge that was my experience. But the extended thunderbolt battery works perfect.

Thanks! Now to root!

I had issues getting the percentage to show with the extended battery, it just showed a confused charging, but not really icon

Really were you using the OEM extended battery or an after market one? Because I've used two OEM thunderbolt extended batteries and they both have worked perfect. The OEM extended for the thunderbolt and Rezound are the same except the Rezound one is red.

Hello.
First, I would like to intodruce my self.
My name is James, and I live in The Netherlands.
I have been using my one X+ now for a while and I am pretty statisfied.
However the phone is starting to shows some failures.
During charging, either the phone or charger, gets very hot but doesn't charge.
I have tried couple of chargers, as well as the charger for the Lumia 920.
But that one doesn't seem to work anymore as the charger itself is getting very hot, but doesn't charge the phone. Not even giving the symbol that it is trying to charge.
This was my last resource, so I really need some help!
Please help.
The phone is completely stock.
Running on android 4.1.1.
Kernel 3.1.10***<lot of extra that I don't think is important.
Smallband 3.1204.168A.32
Build number 1.17.401.3***
Thanks!

Thanks for reply.
The battery charges again!
The charge test did the job I guess.
The charger is still getting hot though.
I hope this solved my problem, at least for now.
Thank you!

Where you are using the phone what the root temperature ? is it too hot ? I had a similar condition when I was at a hot place for 2 days , moved back to my city and all ok now as weather here is pleasant
Well thanks again!
~For the record,
I live in The Netherlands and the climate here is not seen as warm, it is summer and there still is a chance of rain and temperatures are below 20℃.
Haha, that was not the problem.
Thanks for thinking with me though!

Lol, you better call the bomb squad and get it contained. Mine used to be 4325, gradually drops with use. Don't use 3rd party cals, the phone is already calibrated. Actualy ill do a charge to see wheres its at now, report back later. You know, I think the heat the phone gives out on charge destroys the battery, not very well thought out at all, they could of improved the heat spread, I bet the htc ones don't have heat issues, after all there all metal.
I can get 4298mv now after a few plugins and outs after a full charge.
