I have a problem with the phone microphone: When I record a video or a call for more than 2 minutes, the sound gets weird and you can't hear anything clearly.
Is this a software problem in my phone?! Or is it a bug on stock 2.2?

Hi All,
There is a distorted sound from the earpiece like something is vibrating inside and not clear like my nokia 5800. Has anyone else been having this issue?
Thanks
I use bluetooth, and the only time mine is distorted, is if I have wi-fi enabled, while on a call. Doesn't seem to matter if it is connected or not on wi-fi. Turning it off during a call, clears it right up. May or may not be the same problem you are having.
My speaker COMPLETELY stopped working a few hours ago!!
Any type of audio that is routed through the rear speaker is now nonfunctional: e.g. ringtones, notifications, alarms, speakerphone, audio from music/videos, camera shutter, audio from video games!! Audio now only works if I plug in headphones, or if I route it to a bluetooth audio device.
The only thing that works is the front earpiece during a call.
Does anyone know what on EARTH could have caused this, and how I can fix it!?
Thank you...
P.S. Before anyone asks...my phone's software and hardware have not been modified in ANY way.

This seems like it would be a hardware issue, maybe software. If is software maybe you could factory reset (I know you probably don't want to do this), but this sort of thing happened to me. After I reset the phone my speakers ended up working fine after that. I hope this could help you out with your problem. Let me know how this turns out for you.
I notice while on a call with a bluetooth headset, switching it to handset or speaker will make the call audio stop working. However if you have a notification sound play, the audio starts working again for about 5 seconds then shuts off until another notification sound is played (eg. Touch screen sound). Also when switching back to bluetooth everything works again.
Is this a known CM10 issue? I couldn't find anything on it so wasn't sure. I've also done full wipe and the problem is still there.

I'm having this problem too, it's very annoying! Anyone has a solution?
A strange issue is happening:
The earpiece speaker of the phone doesn't work during normal calls, the audio always comes via loudspeaker automatically and the button to switch to loudspeaker/speakerphone during call also doesn't work.
Strangely, it works fine during WhatsApp voice call.
Any idea, what may be the issue and how to resolve it?
Today I have noticed an strange issue that is occuring with my a50s device. Whenever I am on call or whenever I put my call on bluetooth earphones the mic is not working as a result of that I am not able to speak with the microphone by the way my microphone is working completely working in different applications.
Check for update
Check for update on your phone...I had same issue. In my case, the speaker stopped working while video calling, be it whatsapp video call or zoom call.
