Post some links to the websites you're trying to get to. Maybe it's simply unsupported content and not really an error. I'm sure some unsuspecting, but good intentioned Atrix user will click on a link provided by a random person to test it out on their phone.

Stock browser is picky. Sometimes it will some times it wont i know astro has an option to download in stock but it doesnt seem to work. Usually what i do it just download it via firefox. That always works. Stock will download zips and rars though. Look around in tue market see if there are any file managers that work and let us all know

Try using astro file manager. Under preferences there is an option to enable download. Since i did that i can download anything.

Hi there, i'm an Atrix user but frequently browse the Photon forum as i believe our devices are not too disimilar, i had this problem when i first got my Atrix. I found a solution by downloading an app from the market called Download All Files, works perfect for me. Hope you guys don't mind me posting here.

You are always welcome, especially if you have the Atrix, which is our cousin phone.
BTW, Dolphin Browser HD is the best.
like the title says, its out today....
except --- I can't download it from the market. It says "your device is not compatible with this item"
which is BS, because I remember reading specifically somewhere that GTA3 is working with the atrix.
I'm running Darkside rom, has anyone been able to download the game?
There's like 4 version of it on the market, just go to online version and find the right one.
Can't find it on the market -
edit -
let me clarify my process, I searched the market for GTA, and no results come up for the game. I go on the market through a browser and I see the GTA 3 download pages, I touch the link and the option comes up for me to open up in the market. I open it up in the market, but that's where I get the message that the app is not supported and no options to download.
I tried and it let me download.
i may have to run CM7 to download this then
I also cant download it, device is not compatible

running dark side
This one is compatible with the Atrix.

STILL doesn't work for me.. I'm starting to think its the darkSide rom's market app.
what rom are you running?
Running fine in AT&T 2.3.4 rom on INTL atrix.
Downloaded fine for me on CM7. Installing the additional data now.
I am on CM7 as well.
There are definitely still some kinks to work out with the lighting and sound and the game just froze on me for the second time.

When I have this problem, I put market enabler, then clean market data, accept terms and conditions again (with t-mobile usa enabled), then all ok.
Has anybody had success playing GTAIII on Atrix without freezing? I can NOT make it past the safehouse, it freezes every time.

Hello
I have a sgsII and it used to work well on my homebased wifi. I could surf and download apps. But for close to two months now only skype seems to work and i can't open any web pages not to talk of apps. I am so frustrated! I have read some posts here and followed the steps (reseting my wifi, router, clearing caches and cookies etc) none of them is working. Please help me.
Can you fully communicate by skype ? Does installing other browser (I.e. dolphin browser) changes anything? What rom are you using?

Thank you so much for taking time off to try to help me. The error had to do with the setting of my static ip address. It wasnt uniform I followed the guided steps on a certain website(which unfortunately i cant post here cos I am a new member) and glory be to God its working again.
Once again God bless you for your kind attention.
Happy to see your problems solved

Hi all,
Have the above problem and can't find the answer to it. I have tried loads of different roms and none of them allow me to access YouTube via the official app. I can view videos via the website and using rolles YouTube app but not the official app. I have just updated my mum's s3 to jellybean using the official update non rooted and YouTube works fine.
Is It something to do with being rooted, running a custom Rom or something completely different?
How can I solve this, any help would be great.
Cheers in advance,
Blinky

Looks that way, YouTube worked fine for me on stock and still does on miui. Can only really suggest using browser or 3rd party app such as tubemate (Google it)
Edit: re-read op, can see you're doing that already. What exactly happens when you try using the app? FC? Any errors messages?

Just states that the connection has been lost, press to they again.
Some of the adverts before the videos will play but not the chosen video.
Just can't understand why, haven't changed anything and even tried with fresh installs and nothing else installed.

You're not alone. I've been suffering with this for months now. I'm not on an S3 but on a Galaxy Nexus.
I'm currently running AOKP JellyBean M1 having the same issue. Can't remember if I had the problem on stock because that was back in January.
Google say they can't help and Vodafone say it must be the phone as there are no issues. I believe it has something to do with being a root user.
Very annoying as at work and home I get full HSDPA with unlimited data and I can't even make full use of it.
Over WiFi is fine, just on mobile internet I get the problem so clearly a conflict with Vodafone UK.
If anyone still having issues on this matter its because your fast dormancy rule is wrong when you are on custom roms.
edit the build.prop so that the value is =2 and reboot your phone.
ro.ril.fast.dormancy.rule=2
=1 means enabled
=0 means disabled
=2 means vodafone setting

I'm also on Vodafone UK and rooted but works fine, have you tried comparing APN settings with your mum, or sounds silly but try switching SIM cards over.

I had the same problem. Popped into a Vodafone store, got a new SIM (mine was getting a bit old), and now it works. Worth a shot.
