looking @ these install directions I have a question or 2.
Part B: Prepare Files
Create a new folder on your desktop called "GT-I5500".
Copy the files "Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.28.exe" and "EUROPA_v1.0.ops" to this same folder.
Install either WinRAR or 7zip.
Using either WinRAR or 7zip, extract the contents of I5500-MOTAFOCA-2.0.9-final.part1.rar to the same folder on your desktop.
You should now have three files in your GT-I5500 folder: "Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.28.exe", "EUROPA_v1.0.ops" and "I5500-MOTAFOCA-2.0.9.tar.md5"
Part C: Prepare Phone (Downloading Mode)
Turn off your phone, disconnect the mini-USB cable and take off the back cover.
Remove the battery, then take out the SIM card and the miniSD card.
Replace the battery.
While the phone is switched off, press and hold these three keys: volume down + center button (the large button in the middle of the navigation controls) + power button.
Keep these three buttons pressed until you see a large yellow triangle with the word "Downloading..." written below.
Part D: Begin Flashing (using Odin Multi Downloader)
If Kies is still running, make sure to shut it down completely before proceeding.
Connect your phone (still in Downloading Mode) to the computer via the mini-USB cable.
Navigate to your GT-I5500 folder, and run the "Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.28.exe" program.
Ensure that the box underneath "COM Port Mapping" is yellow. If it is not, there's a problem with your USB cable, USB drivers or the phone is not in Downloading Mode, so you shouldn't proceed any further until you verify the problem.
Options: check "One Package", "Auto Reboot", and "Protect OPS".
Debug: leave "Debug ONLY" unchecked.
Select OPS: click OPS button. An Open dialogue will open. Navigate to the GT-I550 folder (if necessary), and select the "EUROPA_v1.0.ops" file.
Select Integrate Package: click "One Package" button. Select the "I5500-MOTAFOCA-2.0.9.tar.md5" file.
Click the "Start" button to begin flashing. This should take around five minutes, and you will see some status updates in the message box on the left. DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS PROCESS!!!

I downloaded the latest rom and it is a zip file when I unzip I get rar file not a rar.md5, do I flash the rar file or do I unrar and flash the individual files. Is an md5 file not usually a checksum file?

yes as per Samsung you will void your warranty, and if you are from India so there is no stock I5503 Rom in Indian version but some other version of I5503 are available at samfirmware.

If on a stock rom you must Factory reset your device before installing the rom.
If updating a kitchen rom, Wipe Cache, wipe dalvik, and format the /system before install.
Install zip from SD
Reboot
They way I do it. BEST WAY
1) Flash Samsung Stock rom
2) Back up everything including the int. SD to my PC.
3) press *2767*3855# it will completely wipe your device.
4) Once phone reboots, place cooked rom and pictures + titanium backup onto the int. SD
5) Flash a custom Kernel
6) Reboot recovery, wipe data, wipe system, Flash Rom.
7) Reboot and restore the DATA only

Hi I will remove the 0.0.0.0 as we move along.. Explanation First 0 is the version number of the Kitchen i.e V2 KG6, v3 KH1. The second 0 (0.*.0.0) is if the Base has been changed. The third 0 (0.0.*.0) is if the kernels/themes/data apps have been updated. The forth 0 (0.0.0.*) is if the website has been changed.

This is the day you'll always remember as the day when Captain RiTz released the "RiTz TurboHD ROM"!!!!!!!!!
Porting this ROM wasn't as easy as Porting the Canvas 4 ROM, But i've managed to do it!!!!!!!!!!!
I used the updated Canvas HD android v4.2.1 Stock ROM (p18) as my base ROM --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2426034
( The boot.img file used by me is extracted from this Stock ROM )
and used Canvas Turbo android v4.2.1 Stock ROM as the port ROM --> http://www.4shared.com/rar/sB6GhQ5M/S9311_MP_IN_MMX_15_flasher_use.html
Features of this ROM :-
1. All the software features of Canvas Turbo!!!!
a. The Video Player with popup/floating mode and LookAway pause feature.
b. lots of other floating apps like popup browser, iFloat Tray , iFloat Call and iFloat SMS.
c. More Smart Gestures
2. Not Rooted!
3. No Build.prop Modifications! (it's of Canvas Turbo A250)
4. Fully De-odexed!
5. Front Camera = 2Mp ; Back Camera =8Mp i.e CHD Camera with app of Canvas Turbo Camera
(both camera's working fine)
Note:- the BootAnimation is the stock BootAnim of CHD, i wanted to mod it but My laptop is not in working condition ,
i've ported this ROM on my 10 year old very slow desktop (it's very very slow).
so when my laptop will be in working condition, i'll upload the modified Turbo BootAnimation and lot's of other add-ons aswell!!!!
Note:- added Canvas Turbo Bootanimation, for link check post no.4 (added on 30-10-2013)

What's working :-

If anybody wants to try this ROM on their Canvas HD, firstly please take a full backup of your phone by your preferred method. (CWM/TWRP/Titanium backup)
How to flash:-
1. Download the ROM i.e "RiTz_TurboHD.zip" file.
2. copy the "RiTz_TurboHD.zip" file to root of your sdcard.
3. reboot in CWM recovery mode.
4. Select "Wipe data/factory reset" --> then select "yes"
5. Select "Wipe cache partition" --> then select "yes"
6. Select "advanced" --> Select "wipe dalvik cache" --> then select "yes" --> then go back
7. Select "mounts and storage" --> "format /system" --> then select "yes" --> then go back
8. Select install zip from sdcard --> choose zip from sdcard --> then select "RiTz_TurboHD.zip"
after it completes flashing/installing, just go back & reboot!!
it will take some time for booting the first time,so please have patience.

I can't do that right now , as my net speed at the moment is very slow and the connection is not very reliable.
It took me 3 attempts and nearly 3 to 4 hours to upload it to Dev-Host last night!!!
I might do it on 1st of next month, as i'll get my 4mbps speed for the first 8gb.

Flashed it & m getting 550 MB free Ram at start, no flickering issues, battery issues will revert soon... Good Rom.. till now like it a lot...:good::fingers-crossed:

Starting with the 4.5.30 builds Gapps installation is no longer needed
Download the Rom from the "ROM DOWNLOAD" section
Download BaNkS Minimal GAPPS from the "Download" section (no longer needed for 4.5.30 an up builds)
Install the rom from Recovery and reboot to system
After the first boot setup reboot to recovery again (no longer needed for 4.5.30 an up builds)

These builds also have some tweaks/fixes not just multilanguage and some of them are just experimental.Bellow are a few of them:
Fix for the "green line" issue when playing recorded video (thx @nomaj)
Replaced stock Camera app with the one from our device Stock Firmware (this means that after you install the Gapps HDR+ will be available and also the camera will update itself from PlayStore)
Enabled the Led menu in Settings
Enabled the "Wake with Volume Buttons " option
Enabled the "Microphone Noise suppression" option
Changed the default build.prop locale to en/US
Tweaked the Theme app to force the selected locale instead of chinese (doesn't seem to work with all languages)
For those looking for more answers there is also a thread in the General forum,remember to check there, it's a nice thread with educated folks,i'm sure you will get some help.
BUGS
*** a green line apears on video recordings (fixed on the multilanguage build)
*** call recording does't work and it will throw a "registration device is in use" error --> should be fixed on Multilanguage build starting from v 4.5.23
don't have the logcat for this anymore but i remember that it was a "bad input" error from MIUI recorder
*** Taking a picture with the Flash ON will result in a "flashbang" effect on the picture --> should be fixed on Multilanguage build starting from v 4.5.23
This seems to be a kernel related issue because using a custom kernel will fix the issue
*** ThemeManager always switch back to Cinese even if the user is using a different language
This one is a tough one and it's a random issue,some users on MIUI forum says that it's on the server side so this means that only Xiaomi can fix it for good --> should be fixed on Multilanguage build starting from v 4.5.30
*** No haptic feedback even if the " Vibrate on touch" option it's enabled. ( this doesn't affect keyboard vibration)

You have to wait until Google Play sync all its stuff,i had the same more than once after a fresh Rom&Gapps installation.

I only post 100% working kernels to the OP .It will also enable init.d support so you could also use init.d scripts to tweak the display.

As we are Korean Note 2 owner so there is always a big problem to find it ROMS.
As you all know Our Note 2 Has been updated to 4.4.2 Version, So some people are facing problems in flashing ROMs. Someone is stuck on boot logo.
So First of all you all have to flash 4.4.2 ROM Via Odin.

Flashing Instructions:
Pre-Requisites:
Check battery percentage, your device should have at least 60% battery power
Turn on USB Debugging mode, go to Settings-Developer Options-USB Debugging
Backup important data and settings to external storage
Install USB driver for your device on your computer- Download Samsung USB Driver
Lets Start
>Download Android Desired Firmware according to you Version from the above list
>Download Odin 3.07
>Switch off your phone and boot Galaxy Note 2 LTE E250L/S/K into Download Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Down+Home+Power buttons (long press until the boot screen appear), now press Volume Up key to proceed to Download Mode.
>Extract the downloaded Odin3.07 zip file and run the Odin3 v3.07.exe file as an administrator (Right click on the .exe file and click on Run as administrator)
>Now connect your Galaxy Note 2 LTE E250L/S/K to your computer via USB cable
In Odin3 screen, you should see a COM Port number like “0:[COM7]” at ID:COM section and “Added!” text at the message box. This means >your device has been detected by Odin3.
>Make sure that, only the “Auto Reboot” and “F. Reset Time” options are checked.
>Now, extract the downloaded firmware zip file, you’ll find a firmware file with extension .tar.md5
>In Odin screen, click on PDA button and select the firmware file with .tar.md5 extension.
>Now, click on the Start button to begin the installation process, wait few moments.
>Once completed, you would see “PASS!” message in ID:COM port having green background
>Your phone should automatically reboot after completion
>You can now disconnect your phone from computer

Would like to share a few findings after using WIDzard kernel for 3 days.
1. The kernel probably needs to flash with widzard recovery which is a mod of Philz 6.57.5. My first attempt with philz touch 6.48.4-t0lte caused a strange bootloop: samsung logo > recovery > samsung logo > recovery....
2. 8~10% performance gains compared to stock kernel. The benchmark was not made on the same ground though.
stock kernel - DN3 v5 : 18239 @antutu 4.5
Widzard kernel - MawrickROM : 20988 @antutu 4.5
3. By overclocking to 1.8GHz, the performance is very decent. Sorry Aututu auto updated to v5, so oc benchmark was made on v5...
To conclude, I found widzard kernel is very smooth and stable. I didn't got a glitch in the past few days. I recommend people give it a try to report back if any issues to the author:highfive:

Yes my daily device is Z1. My wife uses Note2/E250 that's why I cannot mod it as easy as my Z1 - you know why! Everytime*before doing any mod to Note2*I need to do a quiet intensive research. I'm sure your thread will help a lot for those looking for resources. Note2 was a great phone but it needs a refreshment to make it still good in 2014!*

Hay man! I need to ask U couple questions: how to remap buttons functions on v9 Eclipse? I wish that left touch button(meny button) use as reacent button, not middle one. And second question is how to unlock or include Voice Control in Camera app in V9 same rom?? For examplle,DN4 has it. Maybe some tips how and from where to extract it and put it in v9? I really need that couse i like to make photos a lot and sometimes is very hard with one hand on Note 2. Sorry if i missed theme and/or posted in wrong section. Thank U anyway for Ur hard work and ofcorse, tnx Devs for their hard works.
