Is it possible to do this? ADW for example does not resize them properly.
Launcherpro can resize. Paid version only though afaik

ADW (and ADW EX) can resize widgets too, but appear to just be capable of stretching widgets rather than resizing them using the widget's internal resizing capabilities.
For example: by default, the Accuweather.com widget is a 2x1 widget that you can resize in TouchWiz (e.g. to a 4x1 widget). Resizing the widget modifies the content that is displayed e.g. when you resize it from 2x1 to 4x1, it adds high/low temperature and a summary of the current conditions.
When you add the Accuweather.com widget in ADW, you get a pop-up asking what the dimensions of the widget are. If you choose 4x1, it simply stretches the 2x1 widget out.
Does Launcher Pro work the same as ADW in this regard? I've added screenshots so you can see what I mean.
No idea I dont use it. Stock touchwiz atm

so can anyone recommend a good clock app? i found one in the market that is like the HTC sense clock with weather too but for some reason it doesnt work right. it was 1x2 (i think) and i could not resize it so that sucks.
i use fancy widget pro, its a paid app but if is really customizable, has many themes and sizes, and its really gorgeous. it also has weather settings and themes for the weather, and its a lot like the sense clock.
I use beautiful widgets, has a clock and weather widget in one. Looks like the HTC weather clock widget. There is also MIUI weather widget/clock for free on android market. Also Go Launcher has a clock widget as well. Hope this helps.

Beautiful widgets will suit you needs best. But it is not free.
Fancy widget will do the job too, but is less customizable.

Got the same one like yours
I'm just wondering is there any home launcher that you can customize the app drawer view?
like I wish to see normal just like typical adw/touchwiz (icon + text).
or just plain icon.(which adw do).
Or just a list of app names? (just like metro UI?)
I know windows 7 launcher does this. But I don't want the tiles.
And those launchers all stuck at one style. Why they can't let us customize this!!!
File browsers give you option to view icon grid or list.
Does anyone know any launcher does this??
go launcher . launcher pro . 360 launcher miui launcher

Hello all,
On my GS2 I was able to resize widgets by press-hold then shrink. I hate the 4x2 size of clock/weather widget and like to use a 1x2 instead. Just wondering if that was lost or I am missing something real easy. If not possible I have seen a few widgets for free on Play store that have different size weather and clock widgets.
Thanks,
Brad
Apex launcher allows you to resize. I believe you need root access for that feature though.

This is going to seem like a weird one, but I can't find the stock widget that's used for clock and weather when I use Nova launcher. Anyone have the file or know where to find it? Thanks.

I have two clock widgets when I look at adding a widget to nova, I don't know if one of mine was added by an app or if they are both default nova. If you can tell me where to pull a file from I'd be happy to help. Otherwise I'm not totally sure what you can do. I am still fairly new to this launcher.
Good luck, let me know what I can do to help.
I had the same problem... Ended up just getting Timely and using their widget

This is an ever-returning problem for all 3rd party Launchers. TouchWiz, Sense and whatever LG is calling their UI all have widgets that are only compatible with their respective launchers. Install all you want, they still wont show up outside of the stock LG Launcher. You can usually find some that look much the same and some times a genious comes along and ports the widgets. You could try heading over to the G2 forums, I suspect there's more life over there, maybe their "Themes and Apps" forum has a ported edition. Who knows.

I did the same thing - use the Timely widget. With Nova I could overlap it with the Yahoo weather widget so that they look like one thing.
My other virtually-the-same-thing clock widget choice is Chronus

I recently tried out "beautiful widgets" which allows clock and weather widgets and I really like it.
As the title says, has anyone found a way to use the Stock 4x1 Weather widget using Nova launcher? Every other widget is available on Nova except 4x1 Weather. The only other option is 4x2 which isn't the same widget.

Don't think you can use the TW weather on Nova. I'm pretty sure its a TW only widget

Care to share settings
Have xwidget installed then use this. I think this file goes in the xwidget folder

If you already own Zooper Widget Pro you can buy at a very low price the S6 weather widget.
It looks 1:1 to the original one!
