Nope, don't work after clear cache in xRecovery
I have the same problem with CM6_1.0.0. I downloaded Google Maps manually via my PC and installed it then.
I'm going to testCM&_1.0.2 this week. Maybe I can update again.
btw I also have this problem with other apps. Maybe the market-app is the problem, but i couldn't figure this out yet.
Deleting the cache-partition via xRecovery worked for me. Even downloading multiple updates in market is working again.

I installed eminence last night, and everything was working fine. The market wasn't updating to the latest version, so I manually installed the latest version from the backup I had done before I installed eminence.
The latest market was then working fine, until I tried to install X10iUser's black market, which then completely removed the market, so I re-installed the market and now it keeps forcing close.
Is there an easy fix, or do I have to re-install eminence and start again from scratch?
Thanks in advance

You should post this in the original forum for that particular ROM. Hopefully, you will get an answer!
Go to file explorer /system/app find marketupdate.apk install from there, then go to manage applications find marketupdate click on it uninstall, works fine for me.

google maps.... have navigation enabled only in u.s.a and neighbours.
this is a modded google maps 5.2.1 app that would enable navigation WORLDWIDE including INDIA . and thus you wont need any other navigation app.
and undoubtedly google maps are the best maps available for android ,iphone, windows etc.
as google maps have already updated to offline maps support...
i have personally tried the mod in india and works very well...
other modded gmaps are older versions but this one is new..
INSTRUCTIONS:
download and extract the .apk
1. install titanium backup.
2. in titanium backup, go to apps and wipe data for maps(i.e official maps).
the mod wont work if data is not wiped..
3. after wiping data, you can also clear cache. so that nothing of original maps is there..
4. now uninstall the maps using titanium backup .
5. you may perform a reboot (though worked for me without reboot).
6. now install the moded maps.
7. again you may try reboot if not working (worked for me without reboot)
and you are done....

I'm getting application not installed problem too. I'm using the JPM ROM. If I install it through ADB it gives me [INSTALL_FAILED_SHARED_USER_INCOMPATIBLE]
I removed data + cahce of old maps and then uninstalled with abslute system root..
This'd be awesome if it worked, any workaround for this?
on kyrillos' 2.3 (JPF) works just fine
So this most likely is a problem related with JPM.
I also cannot push anything to /system/app, even after remounting (I get a 'permission denied').
Thanks for the file though. Now I only need to wait for always root kernel for this rom

It is because the adb in JPM is locked... You cave to unlock it or put a custom kernel
Works great, thanks. Previously using brut.all maps.
on kyrillos' v3 beta works excellent thanks man

you may try reboot after uninstalling data and cache and the maps apk
Hi
I am on kryillos v3.0 beta ,the application s instaled n working but after I close maps my phone hangs a lots I mean its very much lagging....any idea....?
Guys! Anyone having issues with downloading of apps in the market? I can't seem to download or update my apps in the market! I'm on CM7 beta 6.2.
Try to uninstall market updates and let the market update again. But give it some time to finish the update properly.
If this did not work I recommend doing a factory reset, and then open the wifi and the market. Do not download anything for few minutes. Let the market get updated approperiately. Then close it an open it again and try to download stuff.
I think your issue is with the market update. It happened to me once when I flashed a new KDZ Rom.

Yup. GingerDX on mini pro u20i. It's the themed version though, but I don't think that there's any difference between the two.
EDIT: I'm still using the old market

Maybe this new market/old market install depends on where we are and what carrier we use. I've cleared marketdata and the old market pops up again (still working)
Hello guys,
I am experiencing this when I use Google Maps. Scrolling in and out shows these blue artifacts. A picture is attached. It is somehow not possible to use GMaps.
The Device is a Nexus 4, stock ROM (Android 4.4.2), rooted with XPosed (Gravity Box and XPosed GEL settings enabled). GMaps is version 7.7.0.
Any help or a hint to the right direction is appreceated. I have tried to clear cache and App Settings and I also removed the app's updates and reinstalled. Nothing helped. I could not find any help on google.
Thanks!

Maps has been updated a couple of times past 7.7. Might see if the update helps anything. Do you have the same issue when using Maps via your browser of choice?

Its in every map version, even the newest 8.1.
While going maps website with browser it's working.
OK if anytime someone gets in this topic to find an answer to this issue in the future, i found the solution.
the problem was the DPI.
when changing from stock DPI not every DPI is good to work with maps, for example i had 439 dpi and i changed it to 440 dpi now everything works.
all you need to do is uninstalling the maps app, change dpi, reboot phone, and then install maps again and check if this dpi is comfortable.
good luck
