Apparently Samsung still updating their Omnia II line but sadly only the Korean version... All the newest program is very fast compared to our last i8000 ROM. But it's still WM6.5.
Here I take out the currently WORKING Twitter file from the site and TRANSLATED it to English. And there's a link to the newest ROM also. Maybe someone here can translate the ROM and port it to our i8000, since their latest ROM is AMAZINGLY FAST!!!

I don't think it'll work on other device than omnia II and it's WVGA...
Hmm does this still work? It won't let me login at all on my Omnia II and gives me an error stating "The username, password or email do not match"... so wrong login details. Logging in with moTweets on my phone or on a desktop works fine.
Working OK for me and friends at modaco... and this is their latest version taken from Samsung Korean site for M715 that already using OAuth... Working OK for me also... wanna some screenshot?

I have tried wm6.5.3 and 6.5.5 but many of used programs – Fring, TotalCommander, PhoneCanvas, etc - was not aligned well because of the different top and bottom toolbar. I hope in the future software developers will solve this.
But now, back to fast, stable and good working wm6.5

I have no any problem with it. This is the offical t-mobile rom, without t-mobil customization.

I have tried almost all roms for touch2/Mega. I too don't like the top and bottom toolbar in 6.5.5 and when use keyboard menu input setting always pop up. I like this Rom WM6.5. No problem so far.

Ok i extract language and xt9 cab's from Sunnysoft installer (i can't install from exe - it say it's not compatible OS version).
But here is one bug - when receive SMS manila dont show SMS counter. It means here is no digit on SMS icon at the bottom of screen... How to fix it?

Attachments is OK. Unpack 7-Zip and install CAB. When you receive the information about the incompatibility OS click OK and next. Everything will be fine!
I handle with that by extracting CAB's from language pack from Sunnysoft. Thanks for your ertfort anyway

No problem. Only one thing: you must download language pack from Sunnysoft, upload it somewhere and give me link. I extract language and XT9 CABs from installer and then upload iy here for you.

I hear this first time. Where you get this info? Downloading Language installer from Sunnysoft is legal and there is no PRO option like you say. I allready do this trick with language pack for HTC Touch2 and there is nothing PRO like you say. Even filed in InterWrite config, where is License info is grey.

First screen you can see Sunnysoft Interwrite PRO 10 ! This is not a free software, posting here is against forum rules.

First time newb here.
Just got an i8000 b/c work said I needed WinMo. I find it really slow and laggy. It is a Bell Mobility phone that came pre-configured with data connection settings. Will flashing this rom a) speed things up? b) reset my data connection settings?

forgot to mention I have the I8000L. This rom work with it?
I will answer my own questions.
This flash works superbly! As long as only the PDA rom is updated, the Bell connection settings are retained. This ROM is much better than the Samsung UI laggyness that comes from Bell Mobility. Way less lag and nice bundle.

I'm not sure if it's only the UI, but it seems a crazy guy had found a way to PORT (!) the ROM from HTC HD2 to OMNIA i8000. Found this ROM within the PHILIPINES and it might be intressting for some kitchen user

PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ:
- This is a Custom ROM made for Omnia II I8000 (So Expect bugs in it)
- This is a Beta Version (So don't complain too much).
- Only the PDA part should be flashed so no chance of bricking your phone.
- You have to flash all parts of IL5 ROM "or Latest ROM" as there are some files that are needed for HD2 ROM. (This is compatible with WinMo 6.5 only that is why it is necessary to flash IL5 ROM "or Latest")
- Lots of apps are removed on this ROM (You can revert them back when you flashed back to IL5) and the only applications remained are Samsung Camera App, Samsung FM Radio App, Samsung Touch Player, Samsung Settings, and the rest are merely HTC HD2 ports.
- Some where cooked in the package such as Windows Live latest version (the one from windows marketplace)... including Messenger, Removed CAB setup security check, Microsoft SDK Certs, Open GL v1 WRAPPER version 0.258, NET Compact Framework 3.5 (Have to enable it in the registry, use total commander that was cooked in the package), SRS WOW HD.
- This is a heavy drainer battery user.
- Please remember all HD2 software including Sense, was not designed to work on other devices other than HD2, even less on other brands' phones!! So it is already a miracle we can have it working on a so-different device.
MORE INFORMATION:
- Net FrameWork 3.5 is already in the package but have to set it via registry.
- Set time "You cannot add your location it will automatically find your location when you connect to the internet and update weather"
- Connect you usb and set your connection to WORK so you will be ablt to use your Computers Connection for your phone.
- You can use your phone as a Wi-Fi Router "Pretty Cool huh!!"
- Background weather. If you update your weather the background will be updated depends on the weather.
- In flashing use IL5 ROM or Latest!
- Check erase CSC!
- To flash back to your ROM use PDA+CSC.
- Extract and copy Camera Fix to your phone under /windows

Seriously ? You guys are making a ROM with Sense on it sound like it's GOLD. Come on.. Stop BS'ing people. It's a normal 6.5 ROM WITH SENSE ON IT. Nothing "special" about it. There's a crapload of them on modaco.

yes.. there are already bunch of them on modaco.. the best sense ROM for i8000 is still hold by NRG..

I'v been years waiting for a good ROM in spanish. I'm downloading it and will test as soon as I can. Now using Energy ROM and it works pretty well but not in ¡SPANISH!.
I have just start to use it. Looks well, initial free memory is smaller than Energy.
I have found that it is not able to find weather conditions for "My Location" (Colmenar Viejo) ¿Do you know what may be the reason for that?. With Energy ROM that worked well ¿may be because the weather provider is different?.

i have tried to install it and follow the instruction but stuck at the first registration menu,and being annoyed by "Coctailbar service XXXX (in korea letter) and also "System UI is not responding' so cant continue the registration and back to HK Rom V3.0
i am thinking perhaps it is the kernel problem since in the instruction, the developer didnt give any link of the correct kernel, but you can see them on the screenshot,

Downloaded it and had the same issue with cocktailbar service stopped working (i managed to change the language to english by fast tapping and selecting ?)
It maybe the rom not uploaded properly or the apk is corrupted and the developer forgot to upload the fix
I reverted back to v2.0 from same developer as it has theme store support like the note 5 and still has an active edge panel
