Ok I have searched and searched the forums and google for hours now and still can't find a method to fix this. I flashed to the custom rom Enternity 2 build003a and after doing so I can't get some apps that I used to have when I was on another custom rom. I've tried market enabler, clearing the cache and force stoppping, uninstalling updates, and nothing. I can even search qr codes on my pc, scan and the market still tells me it's unable to find it, when I know that it should be there. Any help would be greatly appreciated because this is very frustrating.

Thanks, I had this problem today. Missing lots of apps on my Samsung Galaxy SII, ran the 'Eris Market Fix', rebooted and now all my missing apps are back and installed.
Cheers!
Here is an update.zip for Latest Official Google Apps.
Many of us flash ROMs like there is no tomorrow and try them all.
Or many of us just reset to factory settings several times for some reasons.
So whenever you do the above, it is sure that Google Apps are also restored to their ROM state and thus need updates causing your valuable data plan consumption.
Here comes an update utility from sekhargreen. Keep the zip in sdcard and just run it from CWM Recovery. Voila! Your google apps are all updated.
Give me suggestions to improve the Apps pack!
Quick question.
Does this install the apps to the /data partition?
If so, why not just delete the old .apks in the /system partition instead?

It will install in system/app
I think u should add market too
It's a good idea, and it should be released with all custom roms if the apps are outdated
Release date?
I mean up to when apps at updated?

This is regular update tool. Watch out for the next release in few days.
Thanks a lot, very good and useful thought.
Could you please tell us the version of each app that is included?
EDIT: Also, a useful app, but not a google one, is Titanium Backup because after wipe data this is the first that is usually installed.

clear cache n app data

If your device is rooted -- wipe cache, fix permissions, reboot.
Tried clearing data - still same problem.
Device is not rooted.
Please help ?
This might be another solution.
Go to Settings>Language & keyboard>Select language>English (US).
Language is set to English (US) already....
update your device
You could try to install an apk of the older android market, not sure if it will install over google play. If not, best option might be to factory reset phone

Go to HERE download, and install the latest Google Play 3.4.7 APK ( Formally the Android Market ) . That should fix it.

I had version 3.4.4 and it still wasn't working, I doubt a reset will fix anything.

Hi,
Thanks for replying.
No, could you please explain what that is and how to do it as I think that may then be the problem.
Thanks
You may, or may not have to set permissions. But you can give it a try. Unistall, then reinstall the latest Google Play. Then using a Root Explorer, navigate to the apk. Long press on the Google Play apk. A pop up should come up, choose permissions. Make sure they're all checked. Then back out of it, and reboot. That might get it to work.

Hi,
Which apk are you referring to ? The one I used to install ? Surely this file doesn't make a difference after installing ? Or do you mean the app under app manager ?
Thanks
Hi,
I checked the permissions under detail in app manager and it shows that everything is ticked except for a few items that have a grey circle under "show all" tab. Can't seem to change anything though.
Someone please help me !?
Thanks
Have you tried installing a much older version? Like a few versions before it changed to Google Play.
EDIT: Found the thread linked below. Not sure if you've tried it yet.

Do you have Rom Manager? If you do open it and do Fix Permissions. Also what device do you have?

Hello everyone,
Can anyone please tell me, whenever we install a new ROM on the android phone aka one plus instead of manually installing each and everyone app is there any way to backup all apps on my existing ROM and restoring all the apps @ one go. Because installing one app at a time is a tedious thing. So let me know if it's possible.
Thanks
