Rotary unlock change for LCD density @200? - Vibrant Themes and Apps

I use root tools to set my LCD density to 200. Most everything I have used/flashed has accommodated this, except for the rotary unlock screen. I'd love to be able to use it.
Can one of you themers help me out?

Native resolution

Why is there never been the ability to change the native resolution in an android rom? What hindrance to we android users have over a windows user who can change his resolution in the control panel?

You can with lcd density changer.
Use pro version to save the settings on your cellphone.

You can also change the LCD density manually by editing your build.prop file. You must be rooted for this though.

Font size smaller

Is there an easy way to change the stock font size to a smaller one?
I am not talking about changing LCD density, I don't want all the apps and widgets messed up.

Try the font size option in Spare Parts basic settings

Or try font changer from the market and change your font to alex. I hate these massive fonts too.

Spare parts just works on OG Droid and within app itself. But thanks for idea.
And I would like to know if or more where it sets it in the code. I changed a .ttf on PC swapped it in system fonts folder and created a custom rom and it still came in the same size so must be code setting it to default size.

Or you can change your screen density. But everything goes smaller. Depends on how much you put it.
Screen density normal is 240
Smallest is 190 (still readable)

Lcd density selection

I adjusted my density to 240 and looks beautiful! Anyone else play around with any sizes?

One of the first things I did was set it to 240. Seeing as I run 160 on my gs2 it was sort of a necessity. also 240 guarantees full market access.
Any issues with 240 ? Dialer our screen not properly aligned?

I haven't seen anything yet. Google music does switch to tablet mode, drives me nuts on the gs2 but fitting here
I use go dialer because the stock dialer shrinks and is off center but that's really only thing i noticed

How did you adjust the density
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using XDA App
My icons are off-center and cut off. Which is too bad because I really like the lower density.

If you use touchwiz its guaranteed to happen. Switch launchers (all good on go launcher and adw) or search for a mdpi version. The hyperdroid guys make one iirc.
Edit: I see the dialer. I'mgoing to try to push A mdpi version

Change the line
Code:
ro.sf.lcd_density=320
to
Code:
ro.sf.lcd_density=240
in /system/build.prop, either using Root explorer or ADB
As for my results, aside from scaling everything down, it looks very crisp and clear. I'm too used to the 320 resolution, so i'm going to set it back.
Can someone post an mdpi touch wiz and dialer....I'm actually liking the touch wiz.....240 looked nice but having the launcher cut in half and drawer sucks, and messed up dialer to...but man 240 looks nice

Go to the market and get an app called Nitrality. You can change your dpi with it and it'll stick after reboot unlike LCD changer
Big Dogg Infuse I997 ZeusB5 ICS!
Guessing you need root for that?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using XDA App
I just downloaded Nitrality, but didn't change the setting because it looks like it only allows you to set it as high as 240. That is, it says 320 (default) when you open the dialog for it, but as soon as you slide the slider, the highest you can go is 240. This leads me to believe that the slider is hardcoded to top out at 240, and that if you change it using this app, you won't be able to go back to the stock 320 using this app. Just a word of warning if you are only trying to see if you like it. Someone who has used this app might be able to check if the 320 option appears after you have set 240? I kind of doubt it, but it's possible.

Nitrality tops out at 300. To go back to 320, you an always just manually change the value in the build prop.

the LCD Resolution app I use you can set it to change on Boot and it has a button to revert to Stock right on it so if you wanted to go back it goes right to 320

Halo Waypoint

I just got this halo waypoint app and I really like it. However, my pixel density is set at 200 rather than the default 240. Because of this, my halo waypoint app when opened, appears much smaller than my screen. Is there a easy way to mod the apk to make it think my pixel density is 240, similar to the market fix that provides a modded google play apk from LCD density modder pro?
Thanks

i dont have this issue
Well that doesn't help me, what pixel density are you using?

I have an amaze and the app is full screen
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using XDA
If you know how to edit the build prob due that, and put 240 instead of 200 it will trick the app
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using XDA
Is it fairly easy to edit the build prop, only with the intent to trick the app? When I have my pixel density at 240, it works fine, but the default density sucks
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G
There is a tool on the market that will change it for you. Just search density changer or something
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using XDA
Let me reiterate, I completely understand how to change my LCD density and it works great. But, my halo waypoint app when opened doesn't fill the entire screen. I am looking for a way to trick the app into thinking by pixel density is 240 so it is full screen.

[Q] Change Resolution?

I don't know if it's possible to change the resolution on our phone or not. I am coming over from the Evo 4g. I've noticed that on some games and apps that everything is much smaller on the screen and very hard to see. It is even hard to touch some of the on screen buttons because they are so close the the side of the screen now. Is there a way to change resolutions when needed?
There should be let me see if i can figure it out.

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to use any LCD density app to adjust the density of only a certain app, or in my case a live wallpaper? I have a feeling the answer is no, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

Unfortunately no. When you change the density it requires a reboot to take affect and it changes everything.
-Density can also be manually set in the build.prop file if you are rooted without the need of an app.
Thanks, that's what I thought. I probably won't mess with it, at least not for a live wallpaper, it isn't important enough to me, but it's good to know I have this option.
