Have a problem with a theme I'm using. The battery indicator while charging doesn't show animation and when I'm on landscape only on the settings app I have a black background. I'll upload the framework-res for you guys to see what's the problem. Help or advice appreciated, thanks!

Hi,
I have little problem with my background color. I use the standard background wallpaper "nexus". The strange thing is that on my homescreens (see pic 1) it is much more lighter as on ther applications screens (see pic 2) the screen is on the lowest light-level.
Why is the color not same??? and is it possible to make the color same?????
Thanks....
Its meant to be like that. Its meant to be a fading effect. If you don't like it try another launcher though that is all you can do. It is normal and not an issue.
so I can not have same color ? ? ? Strange - on my SGS it was 100% same color :-(
If anybody have an idea to get the same color - please tell me....
Samsung changed their touchwiz launcher so it fades the background. Nothing you can do but install a different launcher that doesn't do this.
i made only a black background, thats easy with the app colors.
I made a black background to. Thanks guys

I'm trying to put the frost theme from here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14622659&postcount=4
The problem is that the battery is always stuck at 100 percent on the status bar. In fact all the themes with a circular battery in that post don't seem to work except for the 4.5 circular battery mod.Matted Blues also has a problem were the battery percentage wont show up in the status bar when you turn it on in CM settings.
Looking at the xmls in root explorer, the battery updates only on certain percentages while in the 4.5 circular mod it updates every percent. Does anyone know how to fix this. I tried myself but the xmls only appear as gibberish on my computer, like if they were corrupt. Using the xmls of 4.5 Circular mod on the Frost theme didn't work either.
Ima keep trying but if anyone else can help that would be great.
Hey guys,
I need help from you!
I've got a rom with cyanogenmod 7 base(mdpi resolution) and i wanted to retheme statusbar, but i won't work, as statusbar won't show :crying:
I wanted to change the following things:

White Clock/Texts
blue dropdownmenu
Can anyone do that for me, i will give him the systemui.apk and framework-res.apk if he want's to do that, please help, it's for a big project called CloudOS! But i can't run it, (de)compile works and didn't gives errors, but statusbar won't show
Thank you,
Glenn
i am not an experied developer but maybe you forgot to set the permissions of the files...
Sorry for my bad englisch
I didn't do much theming when I was in CM7. I know you can change notification drop-down colour but I don't know about status bar colour and others. Anyway, try theme by TeamCarbon in play store. They are best themers and they mod as much as available.
Yes it can be done. You will have to edit the layout xmls to do it.

I can probably do it, but you have to explain what kind of blue you want. Also if you want any sort of gradients or fading or something
Edit: also, what do you mean with drop down menu, which part of it ?

Just upgraded from Mate 9 to Mate 10 and have been installing themes but have an issue with getting a round battery icon.
The theme I am wanting to use is SimpleO which has a circle battery icon in the screenshot below but when I try to apply it I get the circle battery on top of a rectangular one.... No idea why this is happening but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Here's another photo when I change themes.
Did you restart your phone after applying themes?
I suggest that you try to contact the developer as it might be a compatibility issue with Android Oreo
