Because none of em are stable :/ I bet sony will release their version faster but I don't complain developers here do an amazing job.

Hi, I'm with custom roms this more than 4 month.
I'm using Trips MIUI Gingerbread since this the first beta. If you follow strictly the intsructions, it is stable for me and I also think for the most users.
Of course there are some limitation, but from my point of view, they are easy to handle.
Yeah but miui is not so much my style too much iphonish? But i got to admit it is really well made a very good job they did on that! I was amazed by it but as i said i dont like too much iphone

I use Trip's MIUI too, and I've almost gotten rid of the iphoney-ness of it. Used Arc launcher, many themes, there's just a bit of settings that matches iphone.
Great rom with custom kernel

gingerbread can it be compatible whit cm7?

hey peoplw whatsupp ? today i have a question when we will receive the 2.3 update will cm settings be compatible to add themes to it? because gingerbread whit arc ui is ugly as hell ! i prefer normal 2.3 thanks in advance .
Sent from my X10x using XDA Premium App
What makes you think the 2.3 update will come with the Arc UI in the first place?
Well i saw some leaked pictures and it had arc style and i am pretty sure its going to be the same bullcrap !

Sorry I kind of figured what I initially wrote probably wasn't what you were looking for and deleted it.
don't ever believe leaks. cm6 and cm7 will be compatible once our devs get ahold of it. I find that cm6 settings work better with 2.3, we'll see when it happens

xloud for x10 isn't working

Hello, i'm new here on xda and i have a problem with xloud on my xperia x10.
After installing the custom zip , xloud worked for about two days and started unchecking it self(under settings/sounds).
When ever i check it,the check would light up but once i exit it would go back.
i've tried installing it again and it still isn't working.
Any suggestions?

Don't use it at all. Might break your speakers as it is untested for our crappy speakers. Some say they hear crackling sounds after using it for a while and which on high volume as well. Just leave it unchecked and you'll should be fine.
Pity though 28spawn put quite a lot of effort into it...

Definitely it has already damaged several peoples speakers.
I would avoid it at all costs.
Never ever ever ever ever ever.....use xloud. If u r brave and courageous enouh to part away with your x10, u can use it.
Our phone were released as a business phone,so no "loud" speakers.
Xloud plays with loudness and pitch,it will hamper your speaker.
Rather, use equalizer app. I bought it from market

I knew this was coming.... I DONT WANT Gingerbread! And battery life is not an issue... This is not hardly going to get used but only for a back up. I ONLY want it to play with, as I liked the way classic Froyo looked.

There was no stock froyo. There are several older attempts, most of them were incomplete... z did the best work, wolfbreak had a few nice ones though those were skinned Sony style as far as i can remember, it's all about ics now anyway. there is a cm7 theme called retro droid i believe which
Could be what you're after, though it is only for cm7.
