Music folder & Voodoo Sound - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I love music, so my TW Music player is constantly playing on my Vibrant. And Voodoo Sound just makes it fantastic.
Two questions:
1 - How do I exclude some MP3 files from the TW Music player?
I have some Podcast and Audio books that I do NOT want to play while listening to music. I have try placing them in the external SD as /books and /podcast but the TW player still adds them.
2 - Is there a way for Voodoo Sound to work through Bluetooth headset?
I like to be wireless, so the phone stays in the pocket or on the desk. And I'm still able to talk or listen to music while roaming in the office. My bluetooth is from Jabra, link below.

1. Put the mp3's that you want to play into a playlist, or move them to another folder and put a period in front on the folder name, for example ".other mp3 songs" or just create a blank file named ".nomedia"....that's right, no name, just the extention .nomedia
2. I don't think so, I think bluetooth uses a different sound aligorithm when broadcasting...I might be wrong though :/

You could put a .nomedua file in the directories you don't want the music player to access, but then other apps may not see the files.
As for Bluetooth, no it's not possible as that doesn't use anything voodoo sound related (i.e. voodoo sound uses the analog headphone sac, while the sac for Bluetooth is located on the headset and is different).

[Q] mp3 playback on car stereo

My boss car stereo dosnt see my music when I plug in my vibrant and select the mtp app/ mp3player from the dropdown notification. Do I have to have my music in a specific named folder? And on internal or external sd?

[Q] Specific Bluetooth Settings

My stock music player used to when linked to my car stereo would broadcast song title/artist/track number/etc to the display to where it could be viewed and would update accordingly and would start/stop whenever i basicalled connected/disconnected the link. Now it wont do any of that and I believe I'm on Google Music beta.
I downloaded PowerAMP and it seems to be working with the starting/stopping once connected but its not broadcasting the track data. Is this something that can be modified via the bluetooth apk settings file or what? I don't want to go in and mess around with files then be SOL on my phone.

[Q] Sound redirection

Hello
I have a car sound system that includes bluetooth support. When I do a phone call, the system mutes FM, or switches MP3 player to pause, and pushes the voice call to loudspeakers.
I have a problem with all GPS software: they put sound out to media stream. Media stream can be read by my sound system, but only when ... reading media stream. When sound system is configured to play radio from FM, or read MP3, it iwll ignore media stream from BT.
=> I need to redirect, on phone side, either, all media stream, or, all stream from selected softwares (Gmap, Navigation, ABE, Trapster ... ) to, either Ring stream, or VoiceCall stream.
Are there existing apps doing this ?
Does kernel support dmix ? I know what I need can be done on a desktop Linux using Alsa-Dmix
For those who did not know there are several sound streams on their phones, install from Market any Volume Control application ... (I prefer the one with a blue circle logo).
I have installed LinuxInstaller, and run things in the background. I am looking at ALSA ATM. I have all Linux options in hand, but I am not sure Alsa can be managed via chroot; and I am not sure Dmix is supported anyway ...
Tanks for help.

[Q] music player app to use with bluetooth

What music player app do you use for bluetooth in your car?
I'm trying to find a player that will work with bluetooth in my car but every player I tried doesn't work in my car. No song info is shown and I can't change songs on the steering wheel, everytime I do it pauses and I can't get to play again through the car.
The stock player does all that but it doesn't have a good eq like poweramp or the fading options like that.
I've tried playerpro, rocket music player, jetaudio, and n7player but none of them work with bluetooth
N7 works over Bluetooth for me. Same with Google Play and numerous streamers like Pandora and Songza to name a few.

I have never had this problem ever, on several devices and cd players. But, my habitual usage includes Google play music app. It works well enough for me, and is fast on hsdpa or better.

Any player should work over BT. Once your connection is up, just navigate to the player and you should be good to go. Since BT is just providing the A2DP connection, the player doesn't care where the music is being sent to. It just plays it to the audio out source. I think your problem is your headunit, but can't be 100% sure. My players (all of them, both streaming and non-streaming) work on any BT car I've connected too. Some cars won't display the album cover art and so forth, but the music comes across just fine.
Well any music app will play music, but I can't seem to change the song from my headunit, it has to be changed from the phone. Changing songs from the car will pause it everytime.
I would like this feature to work with my car on an app like poweramp
For me, All the controls work from steering wheel for every music player I used (from stock to ASOP) May be it depends on car stereo too.

Sound detection library for android without using mic

I am creating an android application that plays a beep sound whenever it detects a pre-defined sound. In another way, I have three drum/piano/vocal sequence mp3 file with me which is stored along with the apk assets. After installation, the three files moved to the internal memory. Whenever I play any audio/video in any of the video/audio player(eg:youtube/vlc) on my mobile, if the music sequence of the playing audio matches any of the already stored three mp3 files, Then a beep sound should produce. This is my aim. But I am hard to find such a library to compare music that is playing inside the mobile with another app. Google assistant and Shazam app just listen to audio from the mic and compare the audio. But in my case, I need to compare audio which is the playing device itself.
Note: The app will be running 24X7 by listening to the sounds played on the device. This application is not intended to build an unethical product. This is used for an industrial purpose.
If somebody needs more clarification, I will update the question
