i ordered the Galaxy s2 from UK through Amazon UK and when it got here i couldn't connect through 3g or Edge
is it just me or is it a problem with all devices
note that my country is Kuwait and we still don't have the galaxy s2 in the markets so is the problem from the provider?

hey all my father is actually in japan and he dropped me a call saying i have found a brand new samsung galaxy tab in its box never opened and is asking 150$ CAD so my question is ? will it Work Here In Canada? I Don't Care If The 3g Connection Works Or Not But Will Wifi Work ? Or There Is 2 version Of It Like one 3g and the other one wifi?

I got my samsung galaxy tab 10.1 10 days ago. Also I am using multisim service in Croatia (I have 3 sim cards with one number, so I don't have to change my sim when I want to use another mobile device). I someone is calling me all the devices are ringing.
So I put one of my simcards in the galaxy tab but I have a problem.
Since the galaxy has no voice possibility, when someone is calling me, the tab rejects the call but it also rejects the calls on all other devices.
I called my service provider, but they cannot do anything. Has someone an idea how to solve this??
It would be great if mobile data,sms and mms are getting to the tab but not calls so galaxy tab wouldn't reject them.

I was wondering if someone have a problem with connecting to 3g while traveling to another country. I installed last week the JB version with Kies because OTA wasn't available due to many connections.
I live in the Netherlands and using KPN as provider. I bought my phone separate so no branding or lock.
I travel nearly every day to Germany but since the update the phone doesn't connect to 3g. I have to turn off the data roaming option. I also discovered that my 3g is not as stable as before.
Someone hints what to do?

Good day all, a friend of mines recently bought an unlocked galaxy s2 online..out of the box the imei number was resetted to the manufacturer's default 0049*** number. I used the samsung srs tool and programmed the correct imei to the phone and it started getting network signal BUT places where I am getting full bars with the same network provider and same galaxy s2, his phone is getting real poor signal or even none. The only way he phone is receiving full bars is areas closest to the cell tower..the only difference in the two phones are the roms..I have the leaked jellybean whereas he has an unbranded uk rom. What can be the cause of this?

Hello!
I just recently returned to Canada from South Korea. While there I bought a Samsung galaxy s3 3g. When I left I broke my contract and was told the phone was unlocked and I could use it in Canada. However, when I tried using a Canadian sim card it didn't work. When I start the phone the SK telecom logo still pops up. I tried phoning SK and asking them to unlock it, but they say all their phones are unlocked.
Any suggestions on how to get the phone to work in Canada would be great, thanks!
You need to give more information if you want an answer. What does the phone do? What rom are you on? etc
Sorry! I'm not on any rom. The phone works fine using wifi but when I tried to go sign up for a phone plan after returning from Korea I was told my phone is locked to SK still, even though SK says it isn't. I really dont know much about phones, so I'm not sure what other information is needed.
I was just wondering how to get my phone unlocked, or to get it sk that I can use it with a Canadian sim card.

Repeat what model phone is it please look under the battery .
This is I9300 forum .
There isn't a Korean GS3 section. Anyway, have you tried using a different SIM? It might just be the SIM's problem.
