I just bought Galaxy II from UK. There is no arabic language option under the setup/Languages and keyboard. Arabic text shows in SMS and browser but disconnected. I can not type in arabic as will (no keyboard)
Any updates or fixes for this issue?

If you are using the stock Keyboard you can install the attached file. Then open the keyboard options (the small triangle nexte to the keyboard icon) and change language to Arabic.
Also, check at www.ce4arab.com they have alot of Arabic support.

i know there is no rom for rtl languages or hebrew (the i-9000 has). i did succeed to inject hebrew fonts for sms and brawser + install a hebrew querty. my question is how to make this rom fully rtl.
i have problems with gmail in hebrew is still showing rtl language but in mirror, and calendar notes are also showing mirrored hebrew fonts.
if someone knows of a fix for this plz let me know.

Hi dorbanz3. I have the same phone (SGS T-Mobile Vibrant), and the same problem. I installed Darky's ROM, the Hebrew works (RTL), but many other things don't.... Were you able to get the RTL issue resolved?
I have a problem with my flyer that caused support to format device. After format Arabic keyboard appears only if flyer language is arabic. If flyer language is English i can't access arabic keyboard, this wasn't case before format. I checked the keyboard language settings and i can't find arabic in the list of available languages. I'm having 2.3.3
Just install another keyboard that supports arabic and use that, for example swiftx
i have the same problem i used go keyboard arabic from market and it works
still think the device software has a problem with arabic language support
Try update to honeycomb 3.2, you got a better Arabic support, but you still will need to download another keyboard like "SwiftKey X Keyboard"

i got Vodafone Smart 2 (alcatel v860) and it did not include Arabic language when i open arabic site or message it give me arabic letter but it is not connected i installed custom locale it give me many language including arabic but same problem, i installed arabic keyborad same thing

I have Samsung Galaxy Y Duos GT-B5512 Gingerbread 2.3.6 (which has touchscreen and physical keyboard) and I just flashed it with HatyonRom V1.1, I want to add English/Arabic Input Languages so I can swap easily with the "AB" button in the phone, the problem is there no Arabic input language in the phone, I can't add the Arabic Keyboard "such as GO! Keyboard" cause it doesn't support phyical keyboard.
So I just need to add Arabic input language to my phone.
Please I need help for my complicated problem.
