On my old phone(iPhone 3G) my bluetooth would ring whatever ringer I had set(default, for a contact, etc). On my Atrix, however, it just rings the bluetooth's default ring. Is this a bluetooth issue or an Atrix issue? If so how can I fix it?

I'm running the CM7 test2 rom and when I plug in my headphones i get a ring tone and music at the same time. Not sure why this would happen unless maybe it starts the stock player playing the ring tone and then allows power amp to play music as as well.
anybody else run into this?
Place a call and then end it.

Thanks, I'll remember that. I couldn't reproduce it today.
MY Plantronics Voyager Pro HD is the best in sound quality. But I cannot use the Caller ID announce app due to the in built ringtone on the BT. I am looking for an app that will fool the BT into thinking there is no ring but simply an A2DP data being transferred to the BT, when a new call is coming in.
The point is not to remove the phone from the holster just to see who's calling.

I just noticed that when you plugged on your headset, SMS tones and other notification tones are still being played on the phone speakers, isn't only on the headphones?
I came from iOS and this is how it is being implemented, when headsets are plugged in all notification tones are played on the headsets ONLY except if there an incoming call. Is this an Android bug, perhaps this feature is not yet implemented? I also saw this issue on some other devices like Nexus and Galaxy series.
Anyone can shed light on it?
Its a android thing, google said they will change in android 5.0
For now you can use Xposed and Xposed Module By the name of Do not disturb

I am experiencing the following problem with my GT-S5282:
Even though both music and normal calls are transmited just fine to the Bluetouth headset (MW600), there is no voice when making a VoIP call (I am using the build-in Andoid's SIP support). The headset is showing the time of the call and allows to end it and so on, but there is no sound. VoIP works fine on GT-S5282 without the headset and I didn't have this problem with the same headset on HTC Incredible S.
Probably the same problem as described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/skype-viber-voip-bluetooth-headset-t2405497
Hey guys. I've noticed that when I connect my nexus 6 to my Bluetooth headset that when my phone rings, the ringtone plays super fast. Whenever I'm not using my Bluetooth, the ringtone is perfectly fine.
Can anybody please help me figure out how to fix this problem?

Same thing. Somebody help us
Partial workaround disable Bluetooth media audio
I found that it only plays fast when Bluetooth media audio is connected. If you disable media audio under Settings > Bluetooth > device settings, the ringtone will play normally.
