Has anyone tried this? I downloaded and tried putting a video in there and it didn't go in the vault, yet its not in my gallery. I don't think it deleted, but how would I find the video. Thanks in advance

Help, Camera Date Stamp, need MOD

I hope somebody can help me with this, I have searched all over and cannot find anything. I am looking for a mod that will add the date and time stamp into my pictures on the EVO 3d, I would like this done with the stock camera app. My EVO 4g had it, but HTC decided to take it out for some stupid reason.

Are you talking about it showing on the picture or just being able to get the details? The details are found by opening the picture, hit menu key and then details. The date and time pic was take is there with other info too.

Ah, sorry but that I don't know. Personally for me I wouldn't want it - but that's me.

My albums are broken down by location and when I visit a place more than once it comes in handy.
Anybody else have any ideas?
I recommend that you stop using your phone to categorize your pictures and start using adobe lightroom or just windows explorer to organize your pictures. If you could just use astro or e s file explorer to easily read the date stamps

I use Picasa to organize my pictures thru windows explorer. However, if you read my request I am looking for a MOD not another way to organize my thousands of pictures.

Can't see some specific pictures

I am trying to put some Game of Thrones wallpapers on my Note but I can't get these three specific pictures to show on my phone. I can see the thumbnail in gallery but I can't open it. I have tried multiple apps such as Quickpick and ES File explorer and no luck. At first I thought it was a resolution limitation so I re-sized them but no luck. Also cropped, renamed, changed from jpg to png and nothing. I can still put other pictures on there and those are fine it's just these three images that I can't get to show up. Attached is one of said pictures.
EDIT: Running The Collective ROM
EDIT: I know this is something that I can get around by getting a different file but I just think this is weird and would like to know what is causing it.
Can't wait for tonights episode!!!!!!

I've tried multiple apps, gallery, quickpick, wallpaper wizardii etc. The thing is I can't even look at the picture on my phone at all. I downloaded another file and it worked but I can't figure out why this one doesn't work at all.
Resolution
What is the file resolution? I have had issues when trying to view anything over 1680x1050 I dunno why but it's a hit & miss affair.

The original one is 2025x3000. I thought that was the problem but when I changed the resolution to something I know works I still can't get it to work. There must be something in the metadata that is causing the problem. Maybe I'll check it out with Lightroom or Photoshop.
Is this what you are trying to do?
I clicked on the picture pressed save and set as background
"Since God created man, and man created the Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Note are like a gift from God, Randal!"
Yup. For some reason the picture doesn't work on my phone. Maybe there is something that I have installed that's in conflict with something else.

Camera app help on peeter's 2.3.5 hybrid ROM

I'm about to smash my Photon and I need some help. I recently upgraded to peetr's custom 2.3.5 hybrid ROM so I could use TMobil. The only camera app I can get to work with photobucket uploading is the stock camera. I've tried 3 other camera apps, and every time I select "photobucket" as the "Share this photo" destination, I get the "Media added to photobucket queue" message....and that's it. No uploading. No errors, nothing. If I use the stock camera to take a pic and select photobucket, it uploads just fine.
The problem is, the stock camera is tied into "Gallery ICS" and I can't separate them. In my previous setup, when I took a pic with the stock camera, then clicked on that pic in the bottom left corner, the pic would pop up full screen and I could check it out and upload or delete it.
In peetrs ROM, when I take a pic and then click on it, it opens Gallery ICS, which then shows me a thumbnail of every fricking folder anywhere on my camera I have a photo saved. WTF? I don't understand why anyone could possibly want that behavior from a camera app, but whatever. I've scoured the settings and I can't find any way to stop Gallery ICS from popping up when I want to view a pic in the camera.
Does anyone know how to fix the photobucket uploading issue or force the camera to just let me view a pic when I click on it?

Just a thought that you could try actually searching the the first post of this ROMS thread. The answer is right there under the optional APKs.
BlurCamera with gallery choice - mainly for Quickpic (pictures must be on internal SD)
That should hopefully fix your issue. I'll test with my photobucket to see if I can make it upload.

I have the new camera working, but when I click on a pic to view it, I get "Media Gallery not installed". This happens regardless of which storage location is selected (internal or SD). Am I supposed to install something else?

QuickPic was already installed before I "upgraded" the camera. I can launch QuickPic fine, but this new camera app doesn't give me the option to select a gallery, just an error when I click on a pic. Any other ideas?

If you can't set the photo gallery that launches, I would just move on to trying a different/previous camera. Can you go to manage apps and clear any defaults that would be causing it to only use that gallery?
Sorry, wish I could be more help.

Yes, I've cleared data, it did nothing. I really don't understand how this replacement camera is supposed to work, if it even does. Has anyone here successfully swapped out their stock camera with the one linked in the first post and have it working? If so, could you please respond?
This is the most frustrated I've been in 3 years, 2 cameras and a dozen roms. The stock camera and Camera ICS on this rom blinds everything with the flash making them unusable. This replacement camera doesn't blind everything with the flash, but it throws this damn "Media Gallery not installed" error. I just want crap back like it was, where I had a stock camera with a flash that didn't blind everything and let me open pics to view them without showing me every picture gallery on the camera. Of course I can't go back to that rom since I flashed the KDDI radio.

Problem with Image Displaying

Hi, I've a problem with my Vivo 5 when I see pictures, it's like the cell phone clarifie the picture automatically. The problem ocurrs whenever I see a picture on my gallery or twitter. I don't know why but I open one on my galerry and this effect takes like a little second to appear. I tried searching for an option in the display section but I could'nt find one.
Sorry for my English

Change gallery app

I have a question about my wife's F1.
I just noticed that she doesn't use a proper app to view the gallery (i.e., view photos taken on her device). When she takes a photo, she can look at it by selecting it in the stock camera app at the bottom. Then, when she wants to look for more photos taken in the past, she flicks through the photos ONE BY ONE (I think this is still the camera app).
Now, there is also a stock gallery app (it's called "Photos" in English, I assume). Why the hell is this not linked up to the camera app in the first place? The follow-up question would be, how do I configure the camera app to always use "Photos" for viewing pictures taken?
Thanks guys for any advice!

Thanks for the reply.
No, this is definitely not Google Photos. She doesn't use that - and I know how it looks. This was just some kind of image preview. Definitely not a gallery.
In a gallery, you can see many photos at once, and scroll through days/weeks/months, select photos, share them, etc.
Other people on the internet mention a shortcut to the gallery in the stock camera app of the F1, but from what I can tell, nothing like that here. Maybe I can post a picture later.
No one here has experienced this? Or maybe knows how to change the gallery app?

Even if you set Google Photos as the default app... The Camera interface opens the default gallery.
