[Q] "Use 2G networks only" gone after sbf to 183 - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Just switched to 1.8.3 and you know what? The good old "Use only 2G networks" option is gone. Any idea how to enable this option again? Something somewhere should be editable with SQLite editor, but really I dont know what. It's quite battery saving. Yes, Atrix is rooted. TNX

at least the at&t version has never come with the 2g network option visible.

I wonder if this would help the "no sleeping" issue I have, or if I just have a setting wrong somewhere.

A couple people have reported that their no-sleep issues have vanished with the new EC10 kernel

[Q] The folder is open sound

I don't know if someone has created a folder but when I did the phone is always telling when the folder is open and close, does anybody knows how to disable that?
Thanks!

In the menu under Accessibility. Disable talkback. If you're using Tasker or another program that uses these services there seems to be a bug in the firmware that makes it tell you about the folder even if talkback is disabled. I find it incredibly annoying.
Yes mine it's disable but still tells me the same thing and it's really really really annoying. Any way to take that off?

No extended, only roaming?

My phone doesn't go into extended CDMA (Verizon) service area. It completely skips it and goes into Roaming Service. My old phone would pick up the extended service no problem, and actually never roamed, but it was CDMA only.

Is there any way I can force Extended over Roaming? I would hate to be charged over this... We have WiFi, but it's not the most reliable because of where we live. I used to be able to pick up 4g Extended, which is faster than our WiFi anyways, and I would love to get that again!
Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it!

[Q] Privacy policy terms and settings

Just setting up my new verizon lg g3. A few apps have asked me to accept lg terms and conditions. Part of a privacy policy.
What is the difference between this and what Motorola has? On Motorola I could use any app I wanted. The settings were a little hidden but still controllable.
Thanks!

Ok I was able to launch these directly without opening an app.
Is there a way I can use voice mate without accepting the terms?

WiFi networks in quick settings disappeared

My setup at home includes having a main router and a repeater so I am frequently having switching networks. However, recently for no reason in the drop down under wifi in the quick settings it says "no saved networks available". Therefore I have to click more settings and do it there. Although this may not be a major issue it is just very unclear to me as to why this has happened - I cannot think of anything I have done to cause this.
The attached image shows what I see and yes, I do have a layer applied (not that it should have anything to do with it) but that was applied long before this occurred. I have tried removing it and the result wasn't any different.
Anyone know what could be the issue?
