You need a launcher that supports such a feature. Almost all of the custom ones do, you just have to enable it from its settings.

Do u know if trigger supports that?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App

Trigger 3.2 comes with both Launcher Pro & TouchWiz Launchers. The first supports it unlike the second.

Where do I find that on my phone?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App

You're running Trigger? If so simply pressing the home button (the wide arrow) would bring you to the launcher screen and from there check the little "make default" box and then choose Launcher Pro.

Search the market for home replacement... zeam , launcher pro, ahome, will all do this, after installing hit your home button and select the one you want to try, if you like it select it as default...

I wouldn't even mention aHome's terrible launcher. ADW all the way!

Can I delete superuser.apk without unrooting?

Basically can I do it without messing anything up? I hate that useless icon on menu.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Afaik superuser stops any old app from accessing root.. that could cause damage to your software.. why would you want to uninstall?
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Leave it there if you have apps installed which only works for rooted phones or a different theme, font etc. but than, why are you rooted? its only an icon...it uses it automatically when it needs to

Fair enough, thanks for quick responses.
Ill leave it alone

If you use launcher pro you can hide things from showing up in the app drawer without deleting them

Cheers, Ive learned a new feature, now theres hardly anything left in my app drawer.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
I don't bother hiding with launcherpro, it is too much hassle going through the menus to get to something hidden.
That is the one feature I really miss from adw, more than one app drawer.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
You could create a menu set using adw (press menu when app draw open) or just have a screen or two with most used icons on it, then you don't have to really use the app drawer - hope that helps.

Apps Organizer
The Apps Organizier (from Android Market), lets you assign all of your apps into folders (called labels). They are really easy to find!

You can use widgetsoid and create a widget to disable it. Or, if you have Power control Plus you can use their widget too.
Thanks a lot. Ill give those a try and post back.

Also you can freeze via Titanium Backup one app - Sprint_OMADM.apk, of course if you are not Sprint user.
the free app 'no lock' is amazing and works flawlessly. Best app on the market imo
Thanks guys for all the help! I tried widgdtsoid and power control. power control worked but it had a notification symbol which I dont like. I just downloaded and installed no lock and I think I'm gonna go with that one. You guys rock!

Glad you like no lock... Its the best
It is the best. I was so sick of the stock lockscreen

No lock + Agile Lock screen works great together
Anyone have a solution for us with Outlook EAS that requires the PIN? No Lock does not work for me.
I use go locker with no issues

Im using no lock to disable stock lockscreen and am using go launcher/go locker with sense slider for my lockscreen. Works flawlessly.

Use widget locker. It's not free but it sure as hell is worth the admission fee. It gives you the option to completely replace the stock lockscreen plus it has loads of other useful features (integration with teslaLED)

Looping home screens.

Hi, has anyone got an app or mod that make the home screens loop at the ends ie screen 1 goes to 5 if you move left and vice versa
Thanks

You can you launcher pro free on market I use this and you can set the dock and home screen to loop plus a whole heap of customizing options.
Sent from my LT15i using XDA App
go launcher free from market or buy go launcher ex.
I think it has the most complete feature than others.
Thanks for that will give it a try. But is there a mod for the stock for this?

Launcher app

Hey, I was wondering how do you add apps to the launcher at the bottom by the app drawer buttons the home screen? I took out messaging and internet by accident and now I don't know how to add it back, thanks

Just drop and drop when you are in home screen, so make sure the apps are on current home screen (I'm pretty sure I don't use TW launcher)

If you are still using the stock launcher, I would highly recommend to change it. You won't have to root just download it of the market. Best launcher for SIII is Nova. Try it, it will let you have 6 icons vertically on the screen and so much more.
Good luck

Must have App! Pie Control

hi all...
I have found a very good app that is helping me a lot using the phone with big screen. PIE CONTROL. You can have quick lateral acces bar to home button, back, drop down notifications, and wahtever you want. At the distance of your finger... not 5 inches away...
Very helpfull and free. Ideal for note2.
perhaps u can include play store link??
also u might wanna try this out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150 LMT launcher. pie style as well
You can try LMT Launcher too. It can be found within XDA.
Free.
And has more functions.

its a rip off from LMT launcher with a few tweaks. but hey what can you do.
I think it works a bit better than LMT though

Hi devilcatz,
How does the LMT launcher work on the N7105?
Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 2
Yep, you just need to have root.

Pie control seems more polished and responsive than LMT. I have been using LMT before PA pie appeared on my Galaxy Nexus.

I got the app too and I'm really happy with it, the back button is ok but the menu button is too far away on this phone. I have it set up just for home, back and menu.
I have just one problem, though: the home and task switcher buttons perform the action instantly, whereas the back and menu buttons have a ~1sec delay between the button press and the action. I haven't seen any complaints about this on the web, is it just me or do others have this problem as well?
Seems faster for me.
For, lmt seems to take less ram (10 vs 40 in pie control). That's just for me. It also allows me to open from the bottom of the screen. This option was not available for pie (at least for the version I used)
