I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to revert the clear lockscreen back to the stock one on the newly released BAMF 1.7? Thanks!
Anyone know how to do this?
Why not just reflash the new BAMF 1.7 zip.
I already did just that. I'm talking about 1.7. Part of that new version is the clear lockscreen. What I'm asking is if there is anyway to revert that clear lockscreen back to an opaque stock one, which I personally prefer.
What you are saying does not make sense...You say part of 1.7 is the clear lock screen but instead you want the opaque one from 1.7.
Are you talking about different versions of 1.7? Maybe I am just going insane here...anyone? LOL
LOL. I am asking if the clear lockscreen included in 1.7, can be reverted to stock? If so, how?
Isn't the sense lockscreens changed by sense themes?
You could just change the sense theme I believe

is there a way that the lockscreen for froyo can work on a 2.1 ROM? it might be the same as the regular vanilla lockscreen but the froyo one has some good animations and it makes the current wallpaper in the homescreen as the lockscreen one. so is there a way?
I'm not positive but I think the answer is no. Froyo uses API level 8, 2.1 uses API level 7.

^^check out this thread, It is pretty much the same as your question but he is trying to get the froyo launcher on 2.1 instead of the lockscreen.
PS:You should just use a froyo rom, their are some great ones on the forums.
ok thanks i would use froyo but theres alot of downsides to froyo especially on eris

Like what? The only problem I could think of was camera preview not working, but that has been fixed recently.

i have that for 2.1 but i tried froyo and i like how the lockscreen hides the homescreen using the current wallpaper and it has the music controls. also i can add my own message on it
White widow has the same lockscreen it may be a cyanogen mod thing.
can i extract that and install in to any rom?
ive looked over the das bamf threads. im currently running cm7 but it is too buggy for me. das bamf seems like a great rom but does anyone know of an aosp status bar theme for bamf and maybe the aosp dialer. thanks
Status Bar - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1090328
Dialer - I don't know if it 's all that has to be done, but I believe you can just replace the phone.apk. Once again, I am not sure about that, I have never done it. Make a nandroid try it and see what happens.
beautiful thanks. ill try the dialer.apk though i dont expect it to work. i can port some aosp apps from cm7 and compile my own rom together i guess. thanks for the status bar though it seems like all icons are the same color(vibrate and alarm clock should be grey) and wondering why it has the am/pm for the time since i thought the latest bamf is gb based.
I know it's possible, but how do I go about putting the CM7 rings lockscreen in stock? i.e. what lines do I need to code in what file, images I need to replace, etc.?
i also have a CM7 ROM zip for another phone with the same specs on my computer for comparison if it's going to be helpful at all.
i hate bumping up a thread, but does anyone know?
You can use widgetlocker in combination with an app that removes your lockscreen.
EDIT: You can also use UOT kitchen.
Widgetlocker doesn't have the CM7 rings...
and I would like to put it into the framework of my ROM.
does somebody know how to do this?
Hi guys,
I've been trying to push the Sense 4 clock into the ICS ROM (CoolRom v10), but the only ones I could find are specifically for GB somehow, causing the ROM to boot, but not show anything else but a notification bar and a black screen.
Is there a way to get the Sense4 clock widget into one of the ICS Roms?
I see Mwakious managed to have this in his ROM, but changing ROMs is not something I really want to
The only ones I have seen that do not force close are the ones that are sense 3.6 skinned to look like 4.0.

I had an Incredible for almost 3 years and I loved the setup I had on it. I switched back forth between "Sense-less" (or de-sensed for Rezound users) and AOSP depending on what mood I was in. I was rooted and S-OFF.
I have been browsing through the forums, flashing various ROM, and trying desperately to catch up on all the in's and out's of our beloved phone. I really had my heart set on running CM10 once I got my Rezound, but unfortunately, bluetooth doesn't work on AOSP ROMs and that's a deal breaker. So, I've been shopping de-sensed ROMs and I can't find one that I really like 100%.
Why do I want de-sensed? I use third-party launchers because of the customization and ability to have multiple docks. Therefore, most of the Sense widgets are not needed on my phone.
The features that I am looking for:
- Based of the latest Global RUU, all VZW crap removed
- De-sensed to a degree where nothing becomes "broken" (I want everything to work. Sense camera is a must! Friendstream would be nice for Facebook contact pics.)
- AOSP lockscreen with Caller ID and Music Controls.
- No Volume screen wake.
- Long-press volume to skip songs would be nice.
I think that's it. I'll add some later if I can think of some, but these are the most important to me really. I have tried several ROMs and read the threads on most of the other candidates and I can't find one that really suits me.
If no one can point me in the direction of such a ROM, I have decided to develop my own. I have little Linux/Android experience. I am still S-ON so I have become comfortable with adb. I have a very basic understanding of how ROMs and kernel interact to make our phone work. I have some experience with C++ and VB. All I really need is some guidance.
Can I just re-flash the Global RUU and then de-Sense and de-bloat my phone by removing apks through adb? Then, if I can find Sense-compatible .zips that give me the volume controls I need, they should work right? Is that the same for compatible themes?
What gets broken when you remove Rosie? I can leave Rosie alone if it breaks the camera and such. I can just remove the unnecessary Sense widgets instead.
Is it possible to have the same lockscreen from CM10 on a de-Sensed ROM and have it fully-functional?
I have been thinking about this for a while and I have a ton of questions. If anyone is willing to help in anyway, please let me know. I love the phone, but I am dying for a ROM that really suits my needs.
Look up Adrenaline by Neo. There is a link near the end of the comments

I don't think Adrenaline is based off of the newest RUU yet. I also don't want the 5-pt lockscreen if I can't customize it easily. Is there a way to put the regular lockscreen back?
Neo has some pretty sick ROMs. I was running his CM9 until i found out that bluetooth calls don't work.

Ahh, sorry. I didn't notice the note about global. Ineffabilis is based off of global, has a desense option while flashing, and has an option for AOSP lock screen. I've heard good things about it, but haven't run it myself.

I run Ineff Deus v1.2 (global) de-sensed as my daily driver. I use a combination of Nova Prime and WidgetLocker. I believe the AOSP lockscreen is set up the way you're looking for. I know there's an option to bypass the lockscreen for incoming calls. There are a ton of options thru the Aroma installer and more in the MikTweaks menu to customize your setup.

Neomax by Neo is pretty close to what you described, themed to look like AOSP, has Sense camera but rest stripped.
It hasn't been updated to be based on global, but you can still run neomax on top of global firmware and benefit from radio improvements. I ran Neomax for two months before switching to CM9 RAGE... CM 10 is still in alpha mode and may be a while in getting to usable state on Rezound.
The good news is that apps like Nova Launcher, SwiftKey and the XDA Google Now for ICS port give you early access to Jellybean features.
