Attached please find a deodexed version of the Browser.apk from the Mesmerize system dump. IOW, no BING! The homepage *may* default to the US Cellular page, but, NO BING!
If you get FC's then either wipe /data/dalvik-cache or clear the Browser data from Settings>Manage Applications.

EDIT: added update.zip instead for ease of installation. Install with clockworkmod recovery or rom manager
EDIT2: added new Browser_nobing_2.zip that will remove the existing Browser.odex. Now compatible with non-deodexed systems

Odd, I can't find it either, says not available for US Galaxy S users because of Samsung(imagine that).

Backup the app onto your sdcard using say, Titanium Backup (App only option), then log onto XDA developers via your Browser and attach the backup onto a new post in this thread?

From your phone, download and use Root Explorer ( root explorer costs money from market but get apk from google) and go to system>app> and find the apk, COPY it and paste it to your sdcard, then upload it
Sorry, can't get it to work. Plus now I'm confused as to why I have the app and it doesn't show up in that folder at all. I picked a hell of a day to quit smoking.

A much better alternative to than advocating the piracy of "Root Explorer" like in the above post #14.
when i download it it downloads as a zip..looks like the apk is decompiled...any help?

It does not delete all your games, they are stored online.
Just log in and you are good.

If u have a version on ur phone already try uninstalling then installing this one. That should do it. If not push it threw root explorer
