Home button (double tap) Taskmanager?

Hello guys,
I was wondering if there is a tweak where I can double press the home button and lunch the task manager straight away instead of the voice command? This will be so much better and easier then holding the home button and then pressing the task mananger...
THANKS

That was even ruder, Matraik is a very helpful guy around here. If you cant be bothered just holdin the home button for like a second go into apps and select task manager.

put the task manager shortcut on the home screen. Then its only 1 click if 2 is too many

Factory screen capture

Home key + power button at the same time. You probably already know about it but maybe there are a few who don't.

I actually didnt know this until a few days ago, I would use a rooted screen shot app.
Im sure people will find this useful, thanks

Xda premium loading....

So if I'm reading up in the forums and then hit the home button to do something else and them come back to the xda application, I sometimes have to back all the way out and come back to get forums and threads to populate with text.
Will it reload if you just hit menu button then refresh?

Mod menu button!

Hi guys!
I new to this forum section because I'm coming from Nexus S.
I want to ask if is possible that instead of the voice command when we double click to open the search app. or recent tasks.I know that we have the recent tasks by hold the menu button pushed but with the double click is a little quicker.
Maybe it answered but I did not found it yet.

I think he asks if its possible to set double tap home button as task manager. He already knows long pressing works as task manager but he wants the double click do the job

Yes something like yhis. Or the double typing could be the search button. So is this possible or not?

I havent heard
I havent heard of any rom that does this. Usually all roms ive seen and flashed..(and trust me.... ive flashed almost all of them....), have taskmanager set to long press on the home button... ill search around and see what i can find.
Im saying this because when i had Nexus S I could use the search button for the recent tasks.

Use camera button as multitasking key Sony xperia s

Hi everyone
can anyone please help me find a way to use the camera button of my sony xperia s as a multitasking key
i have upgraded to ICS but i still have to long press the home key to launch recent app list which is very annoying.
Thanks.
Its like gingerbread, long press to show recent apps, as far I know it can't be done yet

Im not experienced in this field but my logic tells me that its only use is for the camera since its a hardwarebutton.
Good idea though.
In case you want the soft buttons that ICS provides there is a thread called on screen buttons mod in the dev section.

Don't you think changing the function of camera key would be a bit weird? Everytime you have to switch between apps, you'll have to reach the cam key. Waste of time, if you ask me. And I don't think it has been done.
You'd better enable the default on screen buttons of ICS.
Just follow this link:
