It does say that he doesn't like WidgetLocker
I'd prefer AOSP lockscreen as well if anyone figures out how to get that.

The Criskelo ROM has the AOSP Lockscreen in it and it was created by JKAY (Much love to him/her for this). It is enabled via app in the ROM.
JKAY also has a post in the Themes and Apps section regarding this lockscreen for other ROMS as well. Just search the Development and the Themes areas for these and you will find them.
Press THANKS if I have helped...

Just flash Criskelo or CyanogenMod ROM. They are the best i9100 ROM's.
Widget Locker is a peace of crap! It has so many bugs and glitches on i9100. It is also non-free and too expensive.

you can also install revolution rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1171523 and use Kitchen app to install JKay's ASOP lock screen

Sometimes you just can't get what you want...
Unfortunately the lockscreen on android is pretty well integrated with the rom you're running. Either you replace it with something like WidgetLocker, which basically disables the stock lockscreen, and replaces it with its own. Or you need to install a rom with the stock android lockscreen built in.
It's either that, or find the exact rom you're using, and get a dev to some how patch in the stock lockscreen to that rom. You'd still then need to root your phone to apply the patch. It's a lot of work just to add a lockscreen to a crappy stock rom though.

If I'm not mistaken... I believe that the JKAY mod in the themes and apps thread is for stock roms / non-deodexed.
I may be wrong but again... search the forums. Search is your FRIEND!

What you say is not true. Before I had the JVQ ROM I had the JVH ROM without anny lockscreen then only the stock one. I found the lockscreen on XDA for flashing without a ROM, theme, or anything els so only the new loxkscreen.
So it is possible to do this you say not but it is possible.
Unfortunately the lockscreen from JVH don't work on the JVQ otherwise I had flash that one.
An second I have a no stock ROM yeah the theme is stock but my ROM is deoxed and have Voodoo Kernel so why far from stock.
So will annyone upload one for JVQ????

Wrong forum. This is SGS2, not SGS.

Yes!! The Revolution ROM with Jkay Theme Settings App...
The Oxygen ROM comes with AOSP lock screen too... It's an AOSP ROM...

Pulldown Notification widgets (wifi,bt...)

Is there a way you guys can make some kind of "add-on" like this?
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/pulldown-notification-widget-mod-for-virtuous-rom/, so we could have all toggles in one place in notification bar?
It's present in all cyanogenmod based ROMs, such as miniCM, Nexus, Elelinux and I guess in 2.3.3 ROMs as well.
Would it be possible to put them on stock Rom like they are in cm7 minicm, using stock Rom at the moment and miss them quite bad. Lol

it's all been set up to cyanogens mod ROMs already...haven't try one?
This would be nice for stock rom - you are right. btw: I already tried cyanogen mod roms - but with the SU bug they are unusable for me

Well, pull CM settings files from any 2.2 ROM and try to install/adjust it to 2.1, there's a slight possibility you will succeed. Or maybe there are sources for CM based on 2.1 ROMs, when there was no froyo and ginger, look it up on CM website
I was wondering for stock rom too. It would be great that someone from dev-s who implemented that into CM, tries to make some script for stock rom
Read my post again and start looking for CMsettings app
You can try widgetsoid.

@Graveir - if I knew where it is, or how to do that, I wouldn't be asking here
Widgetsoid isn't the same as pull down menu...
There's also apps that can add toggles to notification pulldown. Like Power Control Plus.
How?? I have power control but there is no option for notification bar...
It's an option that pops up on first page if you launch it from App Drawer (not add widget).

All of these widgets have popups when you touch them...It would be great that someone makes update.zip for xRecovery for this toggles like in CM..

Sorry, I meant touch notification bar widget...
it would be great if the stock rom have this , se roms suck and custom roms are buggy too bad for such a cute stylish handset
I presume that stock rom doesn't support multiple notification clicks? It there a way to enable this feature(?

cm7 lockscreens

Is there a way to get cool lockscreens (additional than what's built into the rom)? I like the lockscreens on the galaxy s phones but see when searching that it's impossible without using metamorph and most say it has to be built into the rom. Would the team working on cyanogenmod be able to add these if they had the files or something?

It is but there's still some underlying difference in code that makes it a lil more tough to move features back and forth the two different roms
for what its worth i use WidgetLocker and its awesome. very customizable and easy to work with.
you can also give agile lock and ripple lock a try.

Ah. You didn't specify you wanted the one from TouchWiz. The one in WidgetLocker is the AOSP ICS lockscreen.
Stock XWLA4 and I think XILA2 as well have the same lockscreen as (Samsung stock) ICS.
WidgetLocker best for your GINGERBREAD ROM !
Try GO Locker along with "GO Locker ICS Theme".

Thanks for the push to apps guys, but I was hoping more for a bit of script or so and directions to how to stick it in my system file or something to make this a go.
I can decompile a boot.img if need be, but still looking for a dev to give a hand.

It's not that simple since framework is different in builds and not everything can be ported from one to next due to dependencies there are plenty of ICS looking lock screens in Play store.

Help finding suitable Rom

I'm looking for a Rom that has a stock android look and feel, like the stock status bar and stock look for settings, while still maintaining a great camera and gallery app, preferably the touchwiz ones. The air gestures are nice to but not absolutely necessary. A stock android like lock screen is also a must.
Any help is appreciated

The Wicked Rom is pretty neat. Cear of bloatware.. Its TouchWiz. This is the fist Rom I tried and have not switched sinxe I flashed it. I have been very happy with it.

When you say Stock Android look and feel do you mean AOSP?
Hyperdrive has a lot of options for pretty much every apsect of the rom
Eclipse S4 TW Edition is basically a TW rom with the look and feel of AOSP. Those are the two best in my opinion. If you're really trying to get down to nearly pure AOSP programs and stuff you can check out Andybone's Barebones Rom too. It just depends on how AOSP like you wanna go.

My ROM doesn't have anything AOSP
An AOSP theme is coming thanks to nito for giving me the permission to use his work.
Tried your Rom, was great but I didn't like how the Rom settings say there is an aosp lock screen but nothing happens when I toggle it. Also you need to add a default music player, be it Samsung's or play music. Also hated how it doesn't restore all apps, had to manually do that.

Lol. Wasn't necessarily talking about theming but more about the removal of more things that some people consider bloatware (all the extra Samsung cool guy features) but after relooking I think I was thinking of someone else's ROM. Yours is one of the first ME7 based roms. My bad Andy.

If you are talking about my ROM..
Google auto restores your apps,...
Not ROM related.
also there is NOTHING wrong with the AOSP lock screen,
and Samsung Music is found in Aroma, choose hub..
I suggest doing a FULL CLEAN install, and NOT installing anything outside my thread.
I can only assume you flashed an android.policy.jar and that broke the AOSP lock screen. User Error.
Also I don't include ANY app you can download from the play store.. why would I?
waste of space.
Everything you hate about my ROM can all be solved by fixing your user errors, and a little research.

VERY true lol. But again I wasn't sure how close to "stock android look and feel" the OP wanted to go.
Thread closed...
These type posts are not allowed as they turn into arguments over which rom is best, and best rom threads get summarily closed as users are expected to read, study and make their own determinations as to what they want on a rom.
XDA is not a support site, it is here for developers and for those interested in the plight.
