My buddy has the Optimus C (Cricket phone) and I;m trying to help him out with some root / OC love. Problem is I'm not finding any info. If this is the wrong forum (probably), could someone kindly point me to the forum for the same phone in different guise? Thank you!

I used gingerbreak.apk on my LG Optimus V (Virgin Mobile). The S, U, and V models are pretty much the same phone. You don't even need a computer, just download the apk and run it.

Hey I have a rooted Lg Optimus M version 2.2.2 and it works fine, for some reason i cant post links yet but you can just google "root optimus m 2.2.2" and its the first link on google that says "[ROOT KIT] Optimus M2.2.2"

New to this forum so excusse me if this question has bees asked already.
I was able to root my lg connect metropcs "first time rooting also". Now I having trouble finding a custom rom for this phone. I don't know if there is one available for this phone. If so can someone point me in the right direction.

Hi guyz ...i am new to this world of XDA and even new to android world .... I am coming from IOs and now i think why i came so late ... AND I CANT FIND ANY FORUM SECTION OR POST RELATED TO MY LG G3 VARRIENT AND CANT UNDAERSTAND HOW CAN I ROOT IT .. THERE ARE MANY POST REGARDING D855 model but not many for D58Hk or atleast i cant find any

As far as a section dedicated to your model, I would not think that's likely. The general Non carrier specific G3 section covers all the models such as yours. Unfortunately if not a lot of members own your particular model, it can be hard to find info on it. But you can ask in the thread above, and look around here as well,
