please someone help me who knows how to fix this problem
i don't knew that on T-mobile HD2 i should use special ROM-s and RADIO's.
i just update ROM i don't know what rom it was but I'm sure it was for HTC HD2 and not for T-mobile HD2
after that my phone's GSM signal become weak, when i am at home or inside buildings GSM signal is going lost
so please help me anyone
what to do?
is there any way to fix this problem to wrine new RADIO or what to do?
no I'm using lastest Official ROM witch i download from official T-mobile site.
is it is not any other way i think i must buy new bord where will be RADIO module.

It is not bricked. Go to the HTC site and download the correct ROM. Flash that from the SD card.
A bricked device will not boot at all.

The update from SD card also flashed the HSPL and radio, as well as the ROM.

I also have same problem that is signals are very good outside by inside very bad also i am using t-mobile and rom is latest that is meant for T-mobiles USA is there any solution?

update to the 3.14 ROM (official) or flash a new radio.

Just checked the HTC website and I've just discovered a new ROM for T-Mobile(uk?) users was uploaded yesterday
Version 1.33.110.2
Luckily for me I'm a t-mobile user, but I havnt noticed anyone talking about a 1.30+ rom yet

ALSO note that this is for T-Mobile UK branded Mega's ONLY
(you could try using it, but dont complain when your GPRS/mms/etc settings are preconfigured for T-mobile!!)
Thanks for this.. looks like the crappy T Mobile release is the best we can hope for. At least YouTube gets its own application, so I don't get the "Finding Network..." error when loading videos from IE

T Mobile must have paid millions for HTC to lock the Mega with them, this is a really nice phone, especially if you don't want to carry a laptop sized thing (HD2) with you
Why can't they make a single ROM with no branding on it (or at least don't block changing the ROM)
... If anything, seeing the bloody T Mobile thing on start up makes me less likely to switch to them, and go to Virgin or stay with O2.

It is, but only for UK T-Mobile branded phones. Its not for every HTC Mega.

I have no Idea about the other brands... My phone was originally in Italian then I was able to Flash it with an WWE Rom.. I don't think that I won't be able to reflash it with the latest rom version released by the other providers...

Then my friend you have not branded mobile phone. That means you must put only WWE updates, this update is only for T-Mobile Phones from UK, when you swich on/off the phone you see T-Mobile, now did you get that this is not for you, wait for the 1.33 WWE version.

Hi Guys i just updated the Rom and now the phone says no Sim even though there is a Sim in the card tried in another phone and works ok, Any ideas Please. and yes im t-mobile UK

however, based on my experiences for my two remaining devices as seen in my signature.. I used to flash stock roms from other carriers as well as their updates... so why can't i flash the mega???

I didnt say you cant, i say its not good to see T-Mobile at the beggining and everything in the ROM
i bought a device "HTC HD2 T-mobile" from amazon from yesterday and open the security by HSPL3 after that i downloaded official rom
so my device now is off and i can't also charged it with the charger so wha'ts up?
One that heapend to me, but my battery was died after flashing... I really don't konw how, but that happend to my. I just buy a new one and when turned on my device only 3 color screen showed.. I flashed rom again and everyting ware OK.

yes i hacked it by HSPL3 successfully but i didn't know what's happened when i flashed it with this rom

ALL official roms except tmobile US (tmous) official roms include a radio that WILL kill tmous phones.
No one has yet managed to fix it.

nothing, I'm afraid. its dead. warranty? insurance?
if you bought it from amazon they are pretty good at returns (well in the UK at least)
I would call them up tell them you recieved the phone and its dead, i highly doubt they would be able to test it to find out that it could be user error
think thats your only chance

I have a Tmobile UK HD2 with the official ROM version 1.72......WWE.
I have installed HSPL3, and successfully flashed Radio 2.12.50.02_2 and I am about to experiment with a few custom Roms. Going from your post above, would I still be able to return to my original Official Tmobile rom should i decide to? I thought HSPL was to allow me flash both cooked and official roms? thanks for any advice you can give.

I installed an android rom a couple of weeks ago, and it worked fine.
until my touchscreen stopped working. so now I want to restore my
phone to its original state, so I can send it in for repair.
but which radio, rom and SPL do I need?
I couldn't find it in other threads, so I figured that I should begin a new one.
I hope that someone has an answer to my question.

Try to find out, using the serial number of your HD2, to download a ROM from htc.com support. Usually, only the ROMs which are good for your device will be available to download - get one of them (older or newer), flash it via SD card method, this will delete MAGLDR (if installed), replace any HSPL and re-install the Radio ROM which is correct for the ROM you just downloaded and flashed.
Some ROMs from some operators may not be available, many of those can be found on forums like xda-devs.

The radio will have flashed with the stock rom. stock roms always flash the radio too, whether usb or sd card.

Did you follow the suggestions and flash FROM THE SD CARD? If so, the correct radio was installed.
follow all the instructions step then you have the correct version on it

For an unbranded HD2, you go to www.htc.com. Select the country from where you bought your HD2 (it doesnt matter where you live/use). Then go to the support section. Phone type select HD2. Find the ROM Update (latest one is 3.14.xxx). You will be required to put your Serial Number to download the rom.
For a branded HD2, go to the carrier's website. You may be required to put your IMEI instead of Serial Number.

For tmous use t-mobile.com, they aren't on htc. Com
So I installed DFT HSPL RSPL WP7F2 - version 2)
So I installed DFT HSPL/RPSL (WP7F2 - version 2) in order to install [DFT Freedom ROM] Mango 7720 MOZART Custom ROM and this ran fine. But I really wanted to [ROM][Official]RUU_Mozart_S_HTC_Europe_4.06.401.00_5.69.09_RELEAS E.exe .
I read on page 10 of that thread:

and thought I would try it as my phone is originally Orange UK Mozart. Big mistake!
My phone is now stuck at bootloader and every ROM I try to install fails.
Here is what it says at Bootloader:

Thanks R3PUBL1K for you suggestion. Could have been a good idea.
In the meantime I redownloaded Ansar's NoDo Orange UK ROM. It was the original attempt to flash this ROM that had started my problems as it failed with a message that the ROM was corrupt. I tried to reflash this but again got an error message at only 4% loaded, but then to my suprise the phone booted into Phone 7 like ti should. However, I have no idea what ROM is installed now except that it is OS 7.0.7003.0
More research required before I flash the next ROM I think.

I can only recommend the service. After my problem (as described in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1286524) I sent my phone to GSM TechNiX. They repaired it and sent it back at amazing speed. I could install the Mango Update (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18024790&posted=1#post18024790) without any problem.

I have managed to repair my Mozart using a Goldcard - see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875991&page=6. I bought a pre-configured Goldcard from Rebel XTC and the USB Y-cable for HD7. I was able to flash the nbh file from the RUU_Mozart_S_HTC_Europe_5.01.401.04_5.71.09.02a_22 .51.50_RELEASE. I now have the 5.1SPL, OS 7.10.7720.68, firmware 2250.21.50104.401, radio 571.09.02a_22.51.50.21U.
I am happy with this ROM and will stick to it unless there is something compelling in a custom ROM.

did you try to flash back older version of Rom using Goldcard and Y cable? For ex: Currently is 5.01, flash back 4.06 or the older.
No, I did consider whether to flash to an official Nodo ROM then let Zune update me to the latest ROM, but I was just eager to get a fully working ROM again so flashed straight to the latest official Europe ROM with SPL5.1. I'd be reluctant to try anything else either as I have the phone set up and working now and don't want to risk jeopardising it.

I understand when you have just saved your phone. But Im sure that in a beautifull day your will flash back nodo then flash HSPL and kiss the custom Rom for "freedom phone".

I thought as much - Goldcard will not downgrade SPL - so will not risk trying.

We have tried it and it was working
hi everyone, i got my handset a few days back as i exchanged with one of my friends. the tricky part is that its not locked to any network and i am not able to get what should i do to downgrade in order to flash custom rom. what i got from goin to all the threads is that u need to downgrade before u do rspl/hspl. for downgrading i need to get a proper rom. i tried perfect rom by ansar, and a few others too..
this is my first post to any of the forums..... so please dont disappoint me and try to help me out thanks.......

Will try this as soon as possible. One more thing i wanted to ask. I ve seen some place how to change the internal memory card of mozart. If by any chance we able to replace it by gold card, will that be able to downgrade? I know it sounds crazy but still is there a chance

Try flashing the SLSPL rom by ansar and then any rom 1.xx
ansar´s slspl rom is a europe rom so don´t work. is the phone operator branded ?
SLSPL doesn't work on my French Orange Mozart. I had to flash an Orange rom vers 1.XX to downgrade the SPL with the Y-cable solution.
