OMG, they sold out just that fast. I was just browsing for accessories when I saw the link with prime from Amazon. Ordered it and came to post hear. Clicked on the link in first post and gone. I just ordered the transformer from BestBuy a hour ago.

Well, the closest Fry's to me is 150 miles south in the Bay Area, I think I'll skip that, thanks anyway though. NorCal is pretty much devoid of Fry's, except for the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area's.
Edit-Just for fun I checked their online availability tool, it seems the Campbell (SF Bay Area) and Roseville (Sacramento area) stores have them in stock, but Campbell is 170 miles south of me, and Roseville is 150 miles southeast of me, with gas costs that would easily bring the price of it to over $200

That sucks. At least you have the TF. I just returned my A500. When the refund hits my account I'll try and pick up the TF... I have a funny feeling everything will be sold out again by then.

That's true, I bought mine from Best Buy online, I actually have one of those fairly close to me, it's 70 miles south of here in Santa Rosa. We have Staples and WalMart in Ukiah (the "big" city in Mendocino County at 16,000, about 10 miles south of my place), but Staples here only sells the Xoom, and WalMart only sells the iPad and iPad2. They seem to be in stock more and more and longer and longer now, I don't think you'll have a problem getting one soon.
So you tried out the Acer, what did you think of it? I looked at them, but it's 100 bucks more, and it looks like it's a lot thicker and heavier. I love my TF anyway, so I'm all set

Excaliberpc is doing preorders on even the 16gb. They're selling it for $50 over retail on Ebay, I doubt they have the sleeve in stock.

ExcaliburPC is putting a ton of listings on ebay all "preorders" for may, and marking it up too.
Very annoying. If I was a customer of theirs, I'd stop being one.
Yeah, but the TF101 is listed as Pre-order, and the sleeves are listed as being in stock with a certain number left (19 to be exact), and the base price is the retail price of $39.99. If it doesn't ship by Friday I'll get a refund.

My compliments to those of you who landed this fish for less than I did.. I'm always impressed by the frugal souls on XDA, and hope my children emulate your example.
My sleeve has just shipped (rather faster than I expected), and I'll see it by Saturday, not too shabby. The main thing is that we're all getting the very best Transformer case currently available. Just take care of that velour exterior, which feels wonderful to the touch but tends to attract lint etc.

Out of curiosity, what is it made of?
I got it from a auth seller on Amazon. Cost me a 25% mark up but UPS should deliver it along with my tf in a few hours. will post some pics.
It's fulfilled by DataVision, they want $199 for it, with free shipping. Not exactly a bargain, but cheaper than the scalpers on eBay.
Edit-Scratch the cheaper than eBay thing, for us Californian's there is also $16 in tax and $6 for Recycling fee.

Nobody sells them up here in our rural area, the closest place that even has them in stock is a Fry's 150 miles southeast of me in Sacramento, or one 170 miles south in Campbell (SF Bay Area). We have a WalMart and Staples in our area (Ukiah area, Mendocino County), but they only sell the Xoom and iPad, and Best Buy has none, which is lousy since they are much closer to me at 70 miles
I am sure many of you know the keyboard is very hard to find right now, Well I just ordered mine from tigerdirect. Figured I would post here as I found this forum last night while looking for the keyboard!lol

Thank you for the info, BigMike23. I just ordered directly from Tiger and then cancelled an earlier order from an out-of-stock vendor awaiting a new shipment. I don't quite understand how Tiger got its shipment in first ahead of all the other vendors, but I appreciate the fact that Tiger is sticking to the $149 price as opposed to what the vendor using Amazon has been gauging. I could be wrong, but my memory is that as of a day or two ago that price was $289 or thereabouts; this morning it is down to $239!!!

TigerDirect Docks are Backordered
I placed an order for the dock with TigerDirect two days ago. It gave me an estimated Delivery of 08 Jun 2011. Today I checked the order online and it is now backordered, when I called to cancel the order, the Rep confirmed it was backordered with not ETA of when it would ship.
Found a dock at MicroCenter in Columbus, OH, they have four more in stock currently for store pickup.
The following MicroCenter stores also have stock for pickup only as of 13:50 EST:
Cincinnati/Sharonville - QTY 5
Northeast Ohio/Mayfield Hts. - QTY 2
So Microcenter has a total of 11 in stock in Ohio only...
My dock is plugged in and charging currently!!!

Yeah the rep did not tell me that. He said he had no ETA, so I checked around and found for about the same price (Actually cheaper since I had gotten two day shipping from Tigerdirect) at MicroCenter! I am happy now as my dock charges...good luck all...

I'm sure he meant 6-6 too, UPS and FedEx don't deliver on Sunday's, however, the US Postal Service will on request.
For what it's worth (because it's backordered), the dock is now for sale at Best Buy (.com anyway). I'm waffling on the dock, but with my gift cards and RZ money, I can get it pretty cheap, plus I get a $10 gift card, so I'm probably going to take the plunge once it's in stock.

Contacted Amazon, ordered Dock, took out a free trial of Amazon Prime, got one-day service for $3.50 +/-, will cancel same within 30-days, might take a couple of days for delivery BUT THEY HAVE IT!!!!! Cancelled orders @ J & R and also Tiger Direct. Tiger has rec'd a shipment (much less than what it ordered), but it is going to take an unknown number of days for it to sort everything out and start shipping.
I'd grab the one from Amazon if I wasn't going to save so much from BB by using all my cards and points (good thing about being a tech nerd, a BB gift card is always a great gift!). I can wait, the dock is a luxury for my existing luxury

Ordered mine from Office Depot yesterday. Called to verify (1/12 4:45pm est) they truly had some in and was told at that time they had 37 in the warehouse. However, she could not tell me a color, lol. No matter where she went on her computer it wasn't listed. It made me nervous as I already have the Dock sitting here until I checked "Product Details" and it is model TF201-B-GR. I feel better. Not 100% but at lest 85% I'm getting the correct color. Order shipped and I should have it Tuesday.

There are some FRYs Electronics stores that have few of them in stock in the back room. You can have an employee look up the SKU and they should be able to tell you whether they *actually* have them in stock there.
