I read the forum everyday but i didn't find any thread concerning data.bin.
Where are situated the data.bin and efs/ folder in the galaxy ace? The information concerning IMEI number and product number are not located in the same folder than samsung S, I don't know where to find them.

And one more question, I found some time ago a really good thread explaining the firmware versions as there is B firmware and C if I recall correctly and the relation of these to the modems and why flashing the wrong one can have issues. I haven't been able to locate that thread again to bookmark it, if anyone can point me in the direction of this it'd be awesome.

so now i have the phone rooted , i want to know how to backup my efs
and how to get the imei back with it

I'd really like to know why installing a custom rom can delete or modify the EFS folder ....
And also why the IMEI of the device is stored in it.
What developers are doing to make it happen???
I did not backup this folder and even if he had done believe it would do.
The folder can not be deleted, nor overwritten ......
I always thought that the IMEI was written on a chip can only be read and not written.

While flashing a new ROM CM 10.2 to my Samsung S3, my IMEI has become "unknown" and and due to that i have no network.
I am searching for a solution for that past 2 days and learned a lot but didn't find a specific solution, found a lot of tutorials with broken links, etc...
Please HELP!!!
I didn't found a working stock ROM too.
please i need a full help here.
ps.: i don't have a backup of my efs folder and my phone wasn't blocked or something

Well, originally I would love that this post was inside the section of Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SM-530M, but because I'm just starting in the forum I can not do it.
Anyway, greetings from Uruguay inhabitants of XDA forum, I come to learn how and with what tools can i make a copy of the SM-530M Rom model that has the distinction of being groped by Movistar, tons of exaggeratedly large screenshots and other company-garbage, which ends up wiping out the little memory as they are protected by the system.
The model SM-530M is quite elusive apparently, since I have found very few Roms, there are Roms from other companies like being the state-owned Antel and another called Claro but none of Movistar.
So I'll be reading all the information I can find to, in the first instance, generate a copy of the Rom so I can share it with other users.
At the moment I have only been able to access the system menu to know some data.
