everything seems to work except when i try to download files from web browser on the phone it says Download unsuccessful. When I click on on it and try to download it again it gives me "Download Failed, can not download. the content is not supported on this phone" error.
can someone please help me to get rid of this problem.
Thanks in advanced
Try using the app "download all files" from the android market. Its the only workaround I've found

The above app will work for you
Install a proper file manager like astro for example. I'm pretty sure the error is stock touchwiz and not unnamed

+1 on installing astro file manager. I do not use the program but it allows me to download all file types, especially .zip files which are important to me.
can i load emulators and roms to my sdcard then do a file transfer?
Yes you should be able too. Try it.

I plan on flashing this mod, and when I open the link to download the file on my phone it wont download. I can click the download button as many times as I want and it wont download. How do I get the file on my phone?
Try using a browser with support for the file type you are downloading ..try dolphin browser hd.or it could be because the file has been taken down by someone

Tried that, but after a minute it said download unsuccessful.
Try this...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hwkrbbt.downloadall&hl=en
If that doesn't help then you're stuck with downloading it on PC and copying it to the phone.

Then I would say its a broken link or connect on either side.

Hey guys, I have a folder on my sd card called /RootFiles where all of my files for rooting go. Almost all i download from online is stuff like kernels roms etc, so i want it all to go to the /RootFiles folder. Can i symlink downloads so everything i dowload goes there? Anything else i download i will move manually since there is not that much. So if someone could tell me the terminal/adb code that would be awesome.
Thanks!

I am having problems with my Samsung galaxy S2 (gt-i9100) when i try to connect to my WiFi. i enable WiFi on my phone and then try o connect to the net work. my phone picks up the network and i then enter the password. Before i upgraded my phone to supernexus build 5 it connected to the wifi with ease ,at this point it was running the out of the box gingerbread rom. my phone then says connecting, authenticating, obtaining network IP. then my phone just says saved and is not connected to my router. my WiFi is working as my Ipad connects and can use the WiFi. please can you help.

I think you have the same problem of mine but with different software.
my problem solution is:
flash a rom based on LSJ & backup the file under etc/wifi (system files)
then flash LS8 & replace the same files with your backup
looks like LS8 has buggy files
you might have the same case. try to find another WORKING variant of your software & take the wifi files from it
You have to delete system files first before you put your backup files. don't overwrite.
I just restart my router and it connects with ease

sorry for being so late.
no there isn't. this isn't a flashable file.
you just have to open the zip of any LSJ rom & go to etc/wifi. copy all the files in it then paste them in the same place of the LS8 rom you want to use. you have to delete the original files in LS8 before you paste
then flash & I hope it will work for you.
