Have you tried SE's Settings download? If not, go to Settings>Sony Ericsson> and tap Settings Download. Hope this helps you.

Cannot use data traffic after update to 2.1

I change my build.prop in order to be able to update my x10 mini pro to 2.1. After the update, I found out that I can't use data connection from my mobile operator. Wifi is working for me. Anyone experienced the same problem? Solution please..

I had the same problem. Fixed it by connecting to a wifi, then go to Settings / Sony Ericsson / Settings download. It may pop up a list of operators to choose from.

It pops up "could not download setting. Retry?" I tried to manually set up the access point. Still doesn't work. What's more?

I am having the same problem do you know how i can fix this? this is getting pretty annoying... didnt had this problem when i was running on 1.6 !
just when i thought it couldnt get worse!
Did you re-enter your APN settings?
build.prop has nothing to do with it. Check your APN settings. (Also, while it is obvious check if operator didnĀ“t start having problems with data connection for some reason in your area. )

Is this with the stock app or another alternative?
When does the error occur? Does it occur when you're sending and recieving texts at the same time? I have heard that some basebands are not full-duplex which potentially causes this issue. With that said what baseband are you on also?

no no, he is inputing the wrong apn info. the problem is: at the bottom of the apn, it says "apn type" when you put "mms" the dot will disappear, because that will make it your default mms apn, which means it is already selected. you should ALSO have a data apn above it? if so you select that one, and you should be set.

Well i changed it to mms the dot has gone and another apn is selected automaticly ?

you should have 2 apn's when manually inputing, your data(selectable dot) and mms(no dot). phones can also have all-in-one apn's, but I find it harder to input

If you have correct apn info you can manually enter it thru settings. Just make sure to save apn after!(menu button I think) or you can try Tweakker apn app from playstore.

i've seen this somewhere else on the fourms, but i believe your problem is called "funny sim". there should be a fix somewhere else on the forums. Either that or i'm just a stupid noob. i hope its the former

Minicm comes with a lot of apn's preconfigured, if your provider is not recognised automatically, go to their website and look for the instructions to set apn's manually. It's not that hard to do as long as you're careful with what you type into the settings.

CM 10 MMS problems

I am having problems sending mms via wifi. surprisingly it works for regular data. I have research and reseached, and so far it seems like it could be the APN settings. I researched more, and i couldnt find sufficient info on changing these settings if this is the case. Can someone please help me?

Really? Post a pic of the stock messaging app settings. Are you using a 3rd party sms app?

i know its the apn settings because i tinkered around with it and got different result. right now i can inly sned/recieve mms via mobile data, not over wifi.
switching the networks didn't offer consistent results for me...
