I'm new to Android had iPhones since day one, I'm impressed with the androids.. but I've been threw 3 optimus T's and countless wall chargers, phone works great until I plug it in, then it goes crazy! Just jumping all over the place I'm unable to text or make a call.. anything really, it just starts freaking out hitting random letters & numbers opens up applications, calls random numbers... is there a solution for this?

That's weird, did you contact your seller about this? Did you try booting your phone with charger plugged in?
Use only original chargers, don't use china chargers...
I've contacted T-Mobile and all they say is hm weird, and that's it, its the original charger as well tried everything

Well, "hmmm weird" is not really good enough. Take the phone with charger back to the shop for replacement.
That`s just not possible, maybe they gave you back the same phone.
I bought one full price from the T-Mobile website, then got a upgrade so I was sitting here with 2 of the same Phones brand new.. then my roommate got the same phone and all 3 do it ill post a video when my phone dies & needs to charge.

Eh... not to be stating the obvious but - have you tried that in a different wall outlet? (Preferably, in a different room or even different building.)

This is the first time I've heard of this bug on a LG Optimus T and getting 3 new phones with the same bug is just really bad luck.. I have no problems with mine doing anything weird when I plug mine in.
The only time I have seen any bug that has to do with charging is with Cyanogenmod and that has been fixed with the last update are you using a custom ROM?? and yea can see the video???

Frankly, you do not. The phones are just HW faulty and it seems your local T-Mobile shop got a whole batch of electronic crap to get rid off. You are not supposed to do any such thing like screen calibration (whatever that means). You are supposed to get a working phone out of the box.

The USB port that's basically it. Also battery life sucks for me as well.
This phone was pretty well built other than the GPS sucking, but I don't use it that much nor do I actually have big problems like others.
We also need more love from Samsung so we can get a Gingerbread leak going

Cuz before we use to plug in the phones just to charge them. Now every time you log in to XDA (or your favorite Devs. forum) there is some new **** you wanna install in your phone....plug-unplug...oh I just found this new cool wallpaper...plug-unplug...new ROM...plug-unplug...new kernel...plug-unplug...new (you get the point). You probably plug-unplug your phone 10 times during the course of one day. Back then it was just once every 2-3 days to charge. Don't say they make them cheaper now, they just get abused now.
...Oh yeah, almost forgot. My biggest problem (besides not getting GB for the Vibrant) is that when I wanna take a picture in a dark place I noticed I'm missing that little small LED light that shines when you take a picture which most new phones comes with....what is it called???...oh yeah is a ****ING FLASH SAMSUNG! WTF what is a roll of the dice? "OK lets see which of the new Galaxy S devices is NOT getting a flash just for the **** of it...roll it"...OR.... "Sir, sir we forgot to put a flash on the one going out for t-mobile"...." **** them I have Verizon anyways, keep going"
**** lack of proper gps, **** bad usb (actually mine is alright so idk) but goddammit! Why the **** doesn't this have flash?
there isn't even a logical answer to that.

3. What did you put on it (app wise?) I had an Evo too. I have @ 80+ Apps now with SPB 3D Shell and the difference between Evo and Photon is night and day.
I needed replacement (long story) and when I got new Photon it started acting funny. I deleted Google+ and all good, but I put Google+ back because I use it. Just saying, maybe you installed something thats killing it?
One last thing (because I was JUST reading something eles) How much space are you using on the phone? Not the SD Card, not the 16Gb (well actually 8.79Gb but whats a few Gb between friends), You have 1Gb RAM, and 2GB ROM, install 2Million App's and ...............You get my point!

You don't need juice defender. It'll have a more negative effect on battery as its just another process running in the background.
I got the same message. There was a beta version of one that didn't have the same message. I ended up not using any of them but I am curious as to why we would get that message.

nice find! i need to start checking out other threads/sections on xda.. i always just stay in what ever phone i have at the time thread.. there's alot of other cool issh goin on else where :good:
I too saw that on Reddit. I tried it out on my Evo running Stock w/ Goodies, and on my Nexus 7. Installed, rebooted, and played a bit to let things "settle in", and there is definitely a noticeable improvement in speed and responsiveness, on what were already pretty swift and smooth devices.
I haven't tried it yet, but will soon. If this works out in the long run, hopefully the devs can put this in their roms. I wonder if Google knows about this...
Anyone do a quadrant on this yet? I'm curious if it really works or its just a placebo. Also, how is battery life?

From what little I know about entropy pools, the larger this pool (a pool of random actions right?) is & the faster your programs/inputs are able to access it. The more responsive they'll be.
I could be very wrong but this is what I assume is happening here.
This pool that continusly dumps & fills for however many seconds is about 300-400 nomally on our device. With the tweak the pool is 3000+, I think the tweak also increases the speed of the refresh to access the pool by 1 second.
So 1 second (every second this -> 4 digit figure randomly fills & dumps) + 3000+ accessable random numbers (actions) vs. undetermined number of seconds & a pool avg or 300-400.
Again I'm guessing. I haven't spoke of this since my Eee PC & that might've been for a kernal.
I imagine it as a hand/s repeatedly reaching for a few hundered chocolates spinning in a whirlwind (before) & a ton of random chocolates with even faster hands reaching for a few thousand chocolates spinning in the whilrwind (after).
