I am using Go Launcher Ex. I've turned off wallpaper scrolling on the homescreen, and it works until i reboot the phone. It will then become stretched and scrollable even though it's turned off. This also happens in LauncherPro. To set it back to normal I have to switch to Touchwiz and back. Also, this doesn't happen in touchwiz. Any ideas?
Before rebooting phone:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After rebooting phone:
your wallpaper is likely the wrong resolution for a wallpaper on android. what resolution is your image? it needs 960x800 to be a proper wallpaper and not be stretched.
common mistake is people use 800x480 size which is wrong and will stretch.

just create a new picture with the size 240x320 in your favourite picture application and place whatever picture over it an resize as wanted.
keep it as homogeneous as possible and as dark as possible for the content.
so you can read the text on the startpage.
for some reason the picture is actually moved upwards for the heigth of the bottom menu bar.
here are a few short creations (tpic diving/swimming/scouting/misc strange nature + signs): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27576/s740walls.zip
Anyone know the exact size of the lockscreen wallpaper?
I know what the standard wallpaper size is as i cut all of my images down to that size.
Just the lockscreen, when i crop the image i get some pixelation which im sure i could avoid if i cropped it to the right size.
Thanks
In a download I have of original wallpapers the lock screen is 480x800.

I have had this question for a while. Any page I open, any Twitter link page I open, in any browser, Default 'Browser' or 'Chrome', I have to squint to read the text or I end up zooming in and out and adjusting it to 'fit-to'screen' for the rest of my time.
If you ask me, this is a good page lay out:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Also, I think the text overall is small used in the system.
I have a 4.3" screen which was the biggest a while back (till the advent of phablets).
Any way to achieve this. Thanks.
Have you tried changing the font size.? It resides in display settings. (only ICS and up probably)
Sent from my muffin LIFE! Under maintenance.!
had the same problem on the note II never did find solution but now with my note III I would like to solve this.
when I select a wallpaper and I stretch the selection window to pick what I want it always uses less than what I select it "stretches or blows up" the image some cutting off the top and bottom making it look muddy.
what can I do to correct this. it does not do this on the lock screen just on the desktop (widget lock screen and launcher prime does the same thing in touchwiz)
suggestions?
Here is the lock screen

is there a special dimension size I need to use to get it to stop cropping my image for the desktop?
I hadn't seen anyone start one, but I thought it might be fun to see any cool ideas people had come up with for watch home screens. Or lock screens or anything worth shamelessly copying.
So, I'll start. Here's my launcher screen. I mocked the WP8 theme when I first saw Loki had included it, but I think it works really well for puttling lots of info on the watch screen and accessing it quickly. I set the background transparency to 25% so just a little of the live wallpaper shows through. Nothing else really special.
