I keep it on sleep mode and the next day may battery is fully spended can anyway tell me why or how to prevent this?

No it is not.
in 100% of the cases an App is holding the Archos from going into deep sleep.
Just check that wifi can sleep, no Sync is on, mail, facebook or other inet apps are not holding connections.
I usually just keep it in Airplane mode, and only turn on the WiFi when I need it. This has helped with the power use problem.
I tried setting it to deep sleep, but I found that it would invariably crash when asleep (or when waking up--I don't know which).
I just turn my wifi off and put mine into Deep Sleep. I can leave it for days and the battery only drains a few percent (usually ~1-3% per day).
Some app must be waking your device, and causing the drain.
Installing UrukDroid is not the answer to all problems. I know some people here seem to think so, but there are bugs there too.
I'm not trying to knock UrukDroid at all, or the work that Sauron has done, but just switching your OS is not the best answer.

I use my phone's gps for biking everyday. In ICS passion if the phone goes into deep sleep the GPS stops working until reboot. If I'm not biking my phone is generally plugged in and I have a second battery so is there a simple way to just keep the phone from going into deep sleep so I don't have to reboot when I'm ready to use the GPS?
you can use setcpu and configure screen off profile in it.
If Im not mistaken so long as the phone is plugged in it wont go into deep sleep. I may be wrong though.
I tried setting a profile for screen off to 200Mhz but it still deep sleeps.
As far as leaving it plugged in... I believe I saw it deep sleep still but I'll need to double check that as I'm not sure.

The phone does deep sleep when plugged in and the Wake Lock app didn't help. :/
I have read through tons of pages in the DEV section on this ROM. There is an updated kernel for that ROM that alot of peolple said fixed their GPS issue. Start on the last page and work backwards and you should find the link.

that kernel (3.1.9) and going into settings>location services>uncheck all location services (using 3g, wifi, etc to determine location) as those will break your gps forcing you to have to reboot to reset the gps.
method that worked for me to make sure of it, is have gps off, uncheck the google location services, reboot phone, turn on gps, profit.
use your gps and get a reading, allow your phone to hit deep sleep, then try your gps again and you should have no problem.

You can also try NStools app under CPU tab set min frequency to 200 and set governor to performance. Then go to settings tab and check set on boot.

I've done very much try and erroring to find out which app is draining my battery and if it's really neccessary.
As you can see on the attachment, it looks really nice already. The only thing which drives me crazy are those long and often "Aktiv" (Awake) parts. I couldn't find any information on the SDK pages.
My Phone seems to be very often Awake while in standby. I can't understand why it has to wake up that often. Am I right, that this "Awake" means, that the cpu is running (not in sleep mode)?
Is there any way to log which software is waking the device up?

Yep, "awake" means that cpu is running. Try Badass Battery Monitor, it has a list called AppSucker, that lists the apps by battery consumption

Now I'm still sure, that there is somethink wrong with the battery consumtion. As you can see on the attachment, "Android-System" takes 2 hours(!) for some stupid things.
These are the datas for one night (it was a short one ) The phone wasn't used at all. Is that normal? I mean, thats nearly 30% of the time. Okay, the total capacity loss seems okey, but the phone hast absolutly nothing to do. Except for some interrupts of from the baseband and some cronjobs maybe. But that doesn't need 2 hours.
Any suggestions what courses these long awake times? Or another way to debug this?

Android-system, huh? Seems like you have a wrong config, or a service is keeping awake the CPU...
Sorry, I dunno other way to debug it, but you already tried to calibrate your battery? (let that your battery runs out, charge it fully and, without unplug the charger, go to Recovery >Advanced >wipe battery stats. Unplug and reboot).

You should check to see if Sync is turned on. This will cause the phone to wake up to contact any accounts you have set up to sync... I would suggest setting sync to off unless wifi is available.
On my rom (Gingerbread base) the wifi is turned of when the screen is off, which will make sure that google will never try to sync while the phone is idle.. The downside you will have to wake the phone in order to receive emails and stuff via wifi, and if not on wifi you will have to check your email manually.
I think I found it. Badass Battery Monitor showed that "Google Backup Transport" is part of Android-System, so I removed it. I didn't use it anyway.
My phone is not crashing, I still runs smoothly. The keep-awake time shrinked to 30m during 7h (including short uses). That seems totally legit for me.

I understand all these battery drain issues that the prime has been having but haven't actually had them, until now. I used to lose about 2-3% overnight but suddenly I am losing around 15% because it won't sleep. I go into the battery setting and it shows it been awake the whole time. Now I am sure if I looked around I may find a fix but it just seems a bit odd that it has just suddenly occurred. And its not a wifi drainage issue as I usually put it to sleep at power saving mode and wifi off. Just asking why?

I think it could be the Asus weather widget which I had set at 1 hour refresh rate.
if this just recently occured out the blue, likely a rougue app or something you recently installed. an app running in background or sync is likely the culprit.
Just put Skype on it but that's not signed in most of the time
every android tablet and phone i have does this occasionally, and those occasions are when i either play video or music. some of these media players employ a wakelock that will not disable after you put your device to sleep. sometimes a reboot will work, sometimes not. most of the times the reboot keeps it from draining. even force quitting all my media apps wouldn't work.
so basically i reboot every time i use any type media player so i don't get the drain - netflix doesn't require it, dice and just about every music player does. i'm not sure it this may be your problem, but it may be a possible solution.
I find that making sure to check the last two settings under Asus Customized Settings helps this. I was waking up in the morning to find my dock dead everyday before I checked those two settings. The only down side is when I turn the screen on and wake it up, it takes about 5-10 seconds to connect to the wifi. No biggie.
Use better battery stats and see what is causing it. I have read that skype does drain battery pretty bad. And even if you're not connected it still runs in the background at start up. Another app I would recommend is Autostarts. It allows you to disable apps at start up. I know system tuner is free and has the same functionality but I find Autostarts better. With ST, you just disable the app at start up, with Autostarts you can disable it at start up, shutdown(which some apps fire when the tab is being shut down and other system events), also other events. Like some apps fire up when you get a text, or when your connection changes etc.. I just think Autostarts has more options.
Also dev Entropy has a thread in the GS2 forums about know battery drainers. Some of it applies specifically to the GS2 but there are a bunch of general battery killers listed

If you go to setting and battery it should show you which is using the most battery. The first one on top. If its android system, you can click on it and it will show you a list of whats been using your battery which may point you to the culprit. In my case, media was the only thing in the list. And I know if an SDcard is inside my dock it will drain battery. So after removing it the drainage went away. Havent had the drain issue since. Again yours might be different so check the battery usage.
Thanks for the feedback guys, the first thing i am gonna do is charge it up after it fell flat right up to 100% then try some suggestions. I am thinking a reboot could help it.

I bought a few weeks ago a tf201. everything is great, bar two points.
1) - battery life is emmense when docked on the keyboard and in use, and undocked. BUT when i leave it docked it just seems to refuse to go to sleep and manages to chew up just about all the battery overnight. from the battery monitor in settings the wifi and screen stay on overnight so it loose 5-10% or so an hour.. not great
2) not sure if this is related to the above, but again only happens when docked. if it does go to sleep (i think). when i come to wake it, nothing happens. in the end i have to press the power and volume buttons to reset it, then it wakes back up again. interestingly when its dones this it doesnt appear to have lost much battery charge.
So it seems that either it doesnt want to sleep, or if it sleeps, it sleeps a little too much.
im running the latest OTA ICS update as of last week and havent got that much installed widget wise etc. Ive been pouring over the forums for people with similar issues and the nearest i can find is people recomending using flight mode apps to keep the tablet from completely sleeping. this sort of works but the batteries then need charging every 2-3 days, which is better than daily but not great.
any pearls of wisdom as this for me is ruining an otherwise great device...

Maybe try setting WiFi on sleep to never under the advanced WiFi settings?

Email Accounts set to "push"
Email clients connecting to Exchange usually have a "push" option that continuously syncs with the mail server. Some of them (like Touch down which is what I use) allow you to set off work times when it won't be polling the server so I set it not to poll between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
Also, look at the accounts and sync area in the settings and see what other stuff is being synced. I had no idea until I looked just now how much stuff is getting synced under my gmail account. It's not just mail and calendars like I thought but also a long list of other things.
Then, looking under "Backup and Restore" in the settings, I'm seeing that it's doing a "backup app data, wifi passwords, and other data to google servers". I'm assuming that means all my mail etc. When I first set up the tablet a couple of days ago I noticed that all the wifi connections from my Droid 3 showed up so that was the first time I realized that my phone must be doing this too...
That's a security issue in that by my employer's rules, sensitive company data isn't supposed to be stored on other people's servers so my exchange data really should not be backed up to google. And it doesn't make any sense to do that anyway. If one of my devices dies and gets replaced, when I configure the account on the new device, all the data will sync from the mail server anyway.
The point being that I'm discovering that there is a huge amount of stuff being synced from my android devices that I didn't even realize. That could be bogging down the network (particularly if on a connection that's slow to begin with) and also causing battery drain.
I'm experimenting with turning a lot of stuff off that I don't figure I need - both for the phone and the tablet - to see what difference it makes.

The exchange DATA, meaning your actual mail does not get backed up explicitly anywhere with vanilla Asus/Google ICS Firmware. What it backs up is account settings, and the options you select. Backing up all your mail would be awesome (under the right circumstances, such as when you need that backed up, and some apps will do so, but generally for a fee.
OP, for battery concerns, make sure that in settings, Asus Customized setting that "Mobile Dock Battery Saving and "Disconnect network during sleep are both selected. The latter option stops most or all synching when sleeping.
It sounds like you are experiencing SOD (Sleep of Death) not quite as horrible as it sounds, but if you have to push power button and or/ Power + Volume for 8-10 seconds to get it bac, does it then vibrate and reboot, or just come back to the Homescreen imediately? If it's the first one, look up SOD. I have had only ONE event since .28 rolled, and before that perhaps a dozen on .21, and NONE before that so it's due to SOME recent changes to firmware, at least in my case. Interestingly, I was able to stop it on .21 by disabling the same option we have been discussing. The two battery savers in Asus customized, and WiFi, Advanced: "Keep WiFi on during sleep" (You have to hit the "three dot" menu and choose advanced from WiFi Settings.
Anyway keep us posted, and let me know if you have SOD, or just a deep sleep - if you REALLY want to know how often and how long your tablet spends in deep sleep get CPU Spy (no root require, I believe) and after several hours, it will let you know what the CPU has been doing, for what percent of that time. it is an AWESOME way to determine how much deep sleep you are experiencing with the device.
My battery is not really satisfying.. though i uses only 15% brightness, it sucks up my battery like hell... 10% decrease in an hour... is this normal?

I think i was get the dreaded sleep of death as when it slept to 'wake' it i had to reboot it.
Ive run through all the suggestions here + a few suggestions from the forumns, setting wifi to never, adjusting the dock battery usage, checking my sync options. In sheer frustration i removed all widgets and removed a shed load of apps (both pre-installed and ones that i had installed) installed cpu spy and tested. interesting that it appears to be ok now. charged the dock and transformer up on firday night and its still got juice today, all be it that dock is nearly dead and the transformer has 80%+ thats with 2-3hrs use every day and obviously sleeping...
one thing i did note. when it was docked before and 'sleeping' in the transformer battery was low it would charge for long period when it was sleeping? it doesnt seem to do that now. if the transformer battery is low and i sleep it. the power \ charge light stays on for 10-15 mnutes then goes off.. so def looks like something was keepign it awake.
go to settings/asus customized settings and scroll down to battery saving and check the two power saving settings :good:

I experience problems with kernel wakelock, named "s5p-ehci". In random moment it's getting seized my phone and the phone stops sleeping. It looks like:
all other kernel wakelocks and partial wakelocks take less than 1 min of activity, whereas s5p-ehci is active during hours. So, for instance, if s5p-ehci is active at night - I am loosing about 4% of charge per hour (phone deep sleep time is 0%).
Temporary solution is to reboot the device: so s5p-ehci's activity time is between seconds and minute, later it gets crazy again and is active constantly. I did not succeed to find some relation between it and applications or system processes.
I am not an Android developer, but since there is no other kernel for my device (Meizu MX2) I'm eager to TURN OFF this damned s5p-ehci... Please, tell me, how to do it:
either via build.prop or via linux command or changing some configs.
I have tried to use other firmware, wiped my phone and tried to work without my apps, but all in vain: so I still don't know, WHY this s5p-ehci is on Earth getting so active so long all of the sudden. It has nothing to do with USB, because my phone is not plugged with cable when it happens

Since it persistent across different versions of the software, I'm wondering if it is not hardware related, like the USB is shorting out or messed up (yes, I read that it wasn't plugged in during the main issue, but doesn't mean it is not the root cause). Have you tried using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector to see if maybe it can narrow down the source of your issues?

Hi,
yes, i've used Wakelock detector app as well as its advanced colleague - BetterBatteryStats. So that's how I've found out about "s5p-ehci" wakelock. And I can see there is no other reason of phone insomnia, besides s5p-ehci.
All other apps and processes consume CPU moderately. When s5p-ehci activity is moderate - phone sleeps well. When it gets berserk and is active during several hours - phone does not sleep at all during whole this time (deep sleep is 0%), instead works on minimal frequency (300MHz), however, it's about 40% of battery draining per night.
If it's a hardware issue - I wonder who can help me with that investigation. Services do not deal with such cases, since there is no permanent problem signs. In my case the process can behave properly during a day. Then, all of a sudden, it's getting active and some its activity lasts hours! Then it's getting back to normal again. I've looked at kernel log and system log. There is a lot of various events happening there: something is going on, then device sent to sleep, then again something is going on, then wakeup, in various cases wakeup reasons are different, I was unable to find some relevant info... I would send this log to anyone who could help me to find source of the problem.
I've rolled back to Android 4.1 firmware and installed custom kernel.
Here situation is better, but what I have discovered:
phone seems not to detect when it's being plugged off from charger - no matter, USB cable from computer or wall socket wire. s5p-ehci does not go away and sucks off my battery. What only helps is manually resetting EHCI power: setting 0 in ehci_power file. As a result, something is reset, ehci power is on again, but this sucker goes away and after that everything is fine until next charge. But I need to find a root of the problem!
Going on investigation - too view info in Internet...
