That's a statement, not a question!
If you need some help, more information is going to be needed. I presume from your statement that you are unable to download any applications from the Market over WiFi?
If that's the case:
1. Does it work over the cellular network?
2. What precisely happens over WiFi?
Regards,
Dave
I noticed this same issue today as well. Over the cellular network or wifi, i can't download or update apps. When I check on the status of the app after trying to download it, it just says it's downloading with no end in sight. I can use the browser, check email, update weather, etc... but, the market is 'useless'. I'm running a stock hero.
it works over wifi but takes ages to start, sometimes it starts inmidiatly and sometime it takes a while. i'm not sure where the problem is. but maybe this will be fixed with the new market.
Try starting Google Talk to see if this causes the downloads to start - I've heard of numerous cases where this has "cured" the problem, presumably because some of the GTalk components are common to the Market. It may help, it may not, but it is worth a try.
Regards,
Dave
I know this isn't an option for some, but I just decided to flash the modaco 2.2 rom and market is working fine. I did notice my LEDs were not working today so that kind of pushed me to flash the rom again. I kept the original radio (updating the radio to the latest a couple weeks ago meant I couldn't use my data connection :S) and it's working fine.

works fine for me
are you on wifi or 3g ?
try to switch the mode while downloading
i tried wifi as well as 3g. same same. didnt try switching while loading but will as soon as i got both available again
tried your switching trick. it worked!! now even works with only one connection method. what ever it was it's solved now. Thanks!
For 3g, downloading from google market works nicely. But if i switch to wifi, its worthless. I tried many tmes.... only it shows downloading. Even i kept it for couple of hours... useless.
anyone got solution??? Help me pls!
I'm having the same issue. I got it to work a few times buy switching gsm to wcdma/gsm and back doring download but recently i have not been able to reproduce it. Any solutions?
Some people said that clearing the Cache from te market(in phone settings/ apps/ market), and then reboot your phone works.

Danne_jo stated himself that using foreign languages might "break" market downloads, try to switch from your setting to English, try a download, then switch back (I guess that does the same as cleaning the market cache, the noob-proof method )

First off, I love my Atrix, but there are just a couple of small problems with it, nothing to major.
The one that I have not seen discussed here (maybe just my phone) is the market being wonky over AT&T's network. Here is what happens...
Ill be on AT&T's network trying to do things on the market like update an app or install a new one, but when I start the market up, it gives an error about not being able to access the network. The thing is though, I have a strong 3G signal.
My fix is annoying, but it works. I go to another app that uses network data and load something so it *establishes* a connection to the network, then, when I go back into the market, it works 100%. I was just wondering if this is a problem anyone else has had and if so what their fixes are?

I had this problem and here's what I did go to manage applications and click all filter at top(2nd from right) and clear the data and cache from all the google stuff like google services framework (also download manager, google backup transport) and then go to market and clean the data and cache. at this point when you tried to get your market it give you an error message but don't worry about that just give it a few minutes then turn on your wifi and connect to the market through wifi then from there turn on your data connection. If still getting error just reboot and should be fine with same original issue. Last go back and clear data and cache from market and hit uninstall updates. Wallah done. READ THIS BF STARTING. I don't know what part or all of that fixed it but that's the order I went in and that's the results I got you can skip right to the end with just the market clearing in on installing updates or you can do the whole process. Your call.

I am having the same exact problem as you and I use the same cheap solution...and the scary thing is that it sometimes just happens when using a browser too...it says that there is no internet despite the fact that I clearly have a strong signal that says h+...and the upload and download arrows disappear, not just fade to grey signifying no traffic....does anyone have a solution? Unrooted 4.1.57
Was just about to post this xD It's quite irritating.
I rebuilt my phone last night and re-installed all my apps from the market. Today I have tried to log in to check for any updates and all I get is Server Error and a retry button.
I am on Orange in the UK and am using wifi and 3G mobile data but it still wont work.
Market.android.com on the PC does work though.
Is the market down, how do I even check if it is just me?
Thanks
It's up for me... Looks like something on your end.
Can you browse the web? Any other network issues aside this?

No other issues for me, however, I have decided to try one more time and reflash the rom, maybe it was something I inadvertently did.
maybe a dns issue. try pinging market.android.com and then try the ip in your url bar.
Since yesterday i have a problem with the market, too.
The downloads dont start

Well my question is in regard to the atrix radio.
It started today...or at least I just noticed this morning.I run cm7ba2tf with 1.45 kernel.I also installed weekely 3 on top of that.
It has been running great for about for about a week and a half.suddenly my phone has been acting weird.
I had the. 30 radio
This morning internet was great like usual but I couldn't download from the market or internet.apps just wouldn't download.
Wifi did download apps from the market though.initially I thought something was wring with my radio.I flashed. 36 radio and reception was even better websites opened faster but still can't download from themarket or internet.I restored my back up still the poblem persists .I ran a speetest everything is good.my data plan isn't done yet so I don't know why I can download unless I'm on wifi can anyone help me?
Can u download using a web browser? If so its a market problem. You can go into market under yer applications and delete the cache for it ( the data) then reboot. If that doesn't work have u tried wiping cache and dalvik from within recovery?

i had a similar issue earlier today, the market would load but i couldn't download apps, webpages would come up, but applications that required a network connection to request data (e.g. Amazon price check) gave me a network error.
i checked my APNs and switched from 'AT&T US' to 'AT&T US HSDPA', and everyone was happy.
Can't download either through the browser or market.sideloading enabled. Device fully unlocked.flashed different radios to see if that's the issue and factory reset twice.cleared caches dalvik and permissions too.it seems its a network data issue sites liad fast just downloads don't work going to call att tomorrow if I can't figure out the issue

Will try this since I'm almost positive its not the device so much as just something with 3G/H+ signal
