Hi.
3 days ago i bought an Optimus One "imported from Germany" from amazon. I live in Italy and I asked to them if it had tha italian language. They answered "Yes", so i bought it.
Now, I've choosen italian from the list, but every time I turn it on it ask me the PIN in german. If I turn on the "Flight mode" after a reboot everything come back in german, and I have to change manually the language (and remains in italian since I rebbot another time).
Is there a way to delete permanently the german language or it will be like these forever, no matter what I'll try to do?
Thanks so much.
Pretty sure you have a branded ROM screwed by guys like T-Mobile or something like that... Would suggest to get a stock LG ROM.

No, the install steps are very easy, but there is a high chance to brick your phone when using KDZ. You should be very careful.

I don't think someone will ever notice that you didn't install the official over the air update you were supposed to get.
And also, it's not like you unlocked the phone and installed a custom rom. It's still an official Sony rom.
I don't see any obvious reason why a repair center would check your firmware version. After all it's a known issue and the solution to the problem is there.
And no, i don't have a backup image or so of my stock firmware.
There was a post here on xda with all GB tft files and there was a Belgium one.
Just search for that post, I can't seem to find it anymore tho

I don't think the shop where i bought it (Phonehouse) will bother it but maybe when it comes to Sony they will see it and won't replace it?

I'm quite sure they won't bother
I think of it like this, your phone arrives at the repair center. The person who has to repair it reads what is wrong with it. He then says: "Ah, i see, the yellow tint issue. Time to get to work, but not without checking the software version first".
It's a very unlikely scenario if you ask me. He's just going to fix the screen, check if it still works completely and maybe do some additional tests in the service menu or so.
But you could indeed just do what Hitmax117 mentioned, just to be sure.

Hi
I need stock rom, Three (3) Sweden.
I would like to downgrade but I don't think you can do that from 4.3 right?
Found a link to one version but link was broken.
Problem is that I removed the provider lock a long time ago. But for some reason it came back when I upgraded to 4.3.
Then I bought a sim unlock code from my provider but that won't work now. Probably cause the stock rom I use now is international.
Any tips?

You need to quote the original poster not me.
Also don't go giving the post when you don't understand it.
Read up on pit files and why they are a last resort. Theres a reason its called rescue or emergency firmware. Only used when the phone is soft bricked and all else has failed.

Thanks. Yes it's Tre. But as I understand it I will brick my phone if I try to downgrade from 4.3 so I'll probably just stick to 4.3 unless you know something I don't?
Anyhow, I think I will have to have the shop fix it. I managed to find the stock rom now and reflashed it but the unlock code I got from them still don't work. So I don't see any other option, I need to have it unlocked and I allready paid for it.
Thanks anyhow.

is it the stock firmware for my phone? is it zip file? how can I install it without rooting and installing recovery? I dont want to loose warranty yet
So I tried to root my phone and screwed it up (it was stuck on the Samsung boot screen).
Then I installed TWRP to try and recover it, but being the idiot I am I just ended up deleting the OS.
Now I don't know what to do, please help me.
Edit:
I have managed to fix this with the help of a user below!
What I did (for other users having this issue):
I downloaded the firmware for my device from Updato (link here).
Then used Odin 3 (version 3.12) and loaded the downloaded firmware into the AP slot.
I had to plug my device into the wall to allow it to charge (connecting it directly to my PC did not work), then I booted it up (it was stuck in the Samsung logo screen for a long while, but then it went into the setup).

Use ADB file transfer using the fast boot command line. Then download a flashable zip rom and push it to your device then flash, you also want to get gapps if you want to have Google play.

Maybe it's imported from another country then. I really don't know.
Do you remember what csc it had before wipe?
You can probably flash firmware from any country as long as it's unbranded. (not carrier specific)
I've done it a lot on all my phones to get the latest updates faster. I've had no problems at all.

No idea what the CSC was.
I will try installing another regions firmware.
You think I'll be able do that and then use Kies emergency firmware recovery to reinstall the original firmware? (Sorry if that doesn't make sense, again I don't really know what I am doing).
Appreciate your help mate.

Hey! I just managed to download the firmware from Updato and I am very relieved to let you know that I was able to boot up the tablet and it worked successfully!
All my files are gone, but that's alright, I deserve that for being and idiot and screwing up in the first place!
Just some final questions: Since the firmware region is "Indonesia", what exactly does this mean?
From my Google searches I see that firmware region doesn't mean much, just a few settings are different (such as having the language automatically on Indonesian). Is this true, or will I encounter any issues regarding this, since I am in a different region?
I appreciate your help and advice! You are a very good person and a valuable member of this community.
Thank you!
Good you got it going, and thank you for your kind words
You're right. It's mainly just small regional differences and as long as the phone/tablet isn't locked to specific carrier it usually works just fine with any csc.
Hello Everyone,
I want to ask if anyone has any experience with unlocking the LG G2 Mini. I have reserched a while and it seems to be there is no way of unlocking it for free. A link to a trustworthy, not too expensive website for unlocking codes would be helpfull!
Btw: just flashing a new custom ROM doesn't unlock the phone.
Thanks
Flash an unbranded stock kdz.
Then, whatever ROM you want.
Your carrier probably added the lock on the bootstack.

LG releases its stock ROMs in kdz format, which you can flash with LG Flash Tool.
I believe it contains all the partitions on the phone (though I could be wrong about this).

Sorry for being so late with my response. I flashed a kdz-Stock ROM quite a while ago now and it didn't worked out in my case. So the lock seems to be somewhere deeper in the phones software.
My research wasn't very successful because everybody just want to sell a unlockcode not give an solution :/.

Are you sure it's unbranded?
If it has your provider's codename on it, then it's branded.
Flash one with the codename of the country (or general area) you live in.
What is the name of the kdz you flashed?

Try flashing the actual bootstack from the Original Dev section.
If that doesn't work, then the lock is somewhere else.
Maybe in the partition that holds the IMEI. I don't know.
I can't help you much.
Flashed the Kitkat baseband from this thread (D620r):

But unfortunately it didn't helped. This Provider knows how to let his customers pay .
Thanks anyways for your help and patience. Appreciate you!
