Hi!
I've been trying to create photos and videos about objects that are close to the camera, but the phone always focuses on the background.
Are there any way to get manual focus? (Set lenses manually) - maybe from another device/rom?
I know, there is a touch to focus in photo mode, can be usefull sometimes but not perfect.
If no chance to manual focus, how can I use the Touch To Focus option while video recording? - That can't be hardware limitation, as we can use it in photo mode.

I use single auto focus while shooting video, works quite well for me...
Google camera crashes when taking picture with lens blur mode

Hi All,
I heard that the Google camera with portrait mode is working in many devices.
Google camera uses its own algorithm with single camera to create portrait mode pics.
I am curious to know whether we can have an app to convert normal picture in phones album to portrait mode picture.

Hi i downloaded the latest camera app and it has front camera portrait. But front camera portrait is not working when i choose portrait mode and click a selfie, a message pops "Portrait is unavailable because no face was recognized in the saved photos". If anyone know the solution plz share.s
I'm very confused by the mode button on the camera and can't find an automatic mode.
I see these camera mode options:
- portrait selfie
- Google lens
- slow motion
- Panorama
- Creative
- AR
- Manual
Where on earth is the default automatic mode?
You don't need to change anything, the auto mode is the default, just open the camera app and that is.

That's not the case for me. Whenever I close and re-open the camera app, the mode it is set on the last one used.
At the moment I am having to take all photos on the Google Lens mode, because I just can't find the auto mode.
Ok I think I figured it out. The mode icon it is displaying , is the LAST mode used - even when it's in Auto mode.
That's pretty confusing
