i am p500 user.currently am using stock 2.3 ROM.but i like to change my ROM to custom one.i want better performance and battery backup than the stock one.which ROM and kernel you will prefer?
Please give me a reply...................

btw U have new baseband currently so for rom if u want to use with yr current baseband then goto..

I want to install my first ROM but i don't know where i can find the files and how to install....
i want the last version of Gingerreal ROM ....i think is 2.0

My neo v has miui at 2.3 with a gingerbread rom and i want to go at ics with this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1553585 . Is it ok to install an ics kernel and then the rom or do i need to install first the stock ics like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1674506

1. Try all three roms and YOU decide which one you like best. No one can tell you what your opinion is. CM7 is GB, CM9 is ICS and CM10 is JB.
2. Look in the sticky threads in the dev section. Download flashtool and flash it
3. It is in the file you download when downloading the CM rom

Get the original kernel from nAa's topic and flash 0507 build. It'll do the job.
Have you flashed Mike's last build & 16/5 kernel? Works great for me, no problems at all.
