Here is yet another case thread to add to the increasing number of good non-specific G Tablet case options out there. It's a envelope style sleeve made by Timbukt2

Specifically designed for the iPad but fitting the width of the G Tablet perfectly (and I mean perfectly) with about 0.5 inches of gap at the top. I couldn't believe how good the fit was when I tried it in the Timbukt2 store in San Francisco yesterday. I bought it there and then.
The Catch? Well @ $30 it's expensive considering you can get a G Tablet specific case from Sears @ $5.99.
I have the Timbuk2 Freestyle (XS) messenger bag...has a separate compartment for the tablet...expensive but well made and sturdy...goes on sale occasionally at dell.com for $40...
Timbuk2 products are phenominal. I bought a used bag from eBay ad used it thru numerous flights over the past 3 years and it still looks great. My dog even went at it and was thwarted.

Thanks for the info! I ordered the black folding case. I'm hoping it's thin enough to fit inside the Case Logic netbook sleeve I bought from Amazon, so I can have some extra padding for it during transport.
I got the solo. It's quite well padded but a little pricey and it doesn't stand up on its own.
anyone get their hands on the roocase yet? is it well padded? it's hard to tell from the picture.
Hm, trying to decide between the executive and the multi angle. Does anyone have an opinion on whether or not one uses an angle other than 45 degrees for viewing on a table?
I ordered my roocase last night and since then, they changed it to preorder, shipping on 7/11.The rep stated they are waiting for them to come from China. That's too long to wait so I cancelled my order.

There's a couple of auctions on ebay one @$13.69 shipped and one @$15.68 shipped. Both sellers are from California.
I think we are at the point where the Transformer accessories aftermarket is beginning to settle in.
Now we just need those chargers and cables.

Yea, I like it. But there is only 1 small picture there, and it looks exactly the same as the case for the Xoom. Many more pictures of the Xoom case.

Ordered it from HK, so I have a couple weeks of wait, but it looksw great & is super cheap. If it isn't great, I'll see how the rooCASE turns out.

I dunno, by the time you receive this shipment you could have just preordered either one of the rooCASE or the Case Crown cases that are coming out in 1-2 weeks and shipping from within the US. Also, if you do have to ditch the first case, it is $15 wasted.

Nice job on finding the coupon codes.
As for reliability, I've ordered from them in the past, but it was awhile ago. So hard to know how accurate their shipping time estimates are.

Guess it's no news that docks are sold out everywhere at the moment, and I have been waiting on Gamestop, who let my dock order date slip, then slip further, then they pulled the est. date entirely! Got all over their case today, and corporate calls me (I actually got an email through to CEO Paul Raines. LOL!) and tells me "It's not released yet, and won't be until end of January!" This from VP of logistics.. so I KNEW I was screwed if she didn't know what was going on.
Super happy to have this placed, got 2-3 days shipping, should arrive right within a day of my FREE Prime. (Yep... I got full credit from an unnamed retailer for F%$ing me up so bad it was a crying shame.) Now stop ordering these, so they don't screw up and oversell the stock!!! LOL!

Thanks for the feedback!! I've google their reviews, and its fair reviews in my opinion. Some really good, and some not so good. I ordered the dock, and the 64gb. Will cancel my amazon and expansys after I get a tracking #. Amazon, Expansys, and FRY's quotes me late January. Expect FRY's no ETA at all. Hoppefully I dont get an email in a few days saying backordered!! One good thing is there is no tax, I saved $55 of tax on the tablet. My total for dock and tablet was
Subtotal: $ 755.18
Price Discount: $ -11.00
Shipping: $ 0.00
Tax: $ 0.00
Total;: $ 744.18
I trust Abes of Maine from when I purchased a Camera a few years ago. The fact they accept paypal is nice too. I also canceled my Amazon dock order since it has a Feb estimated ship date and I figure even a back ordered dock through Abes will get here before February.
Amazon must have a ton of these things and the tablets preordered. Their estimated dates are so far out.

I hope you're right. Based on your post I just ordered a grey 64 GB Prime.
I didn't post about Abe's earlier because I found the negative reviews as well.
Alright my fellow Canadians, if there are any, if you have a Prime you're probably just as pissed as I am about the lack of anything for this tablet up here and even more so I'm pissed at Amazon for refusing to ship anything here. SO, if you see anything for the TP in/available to Canada, post it up here
pretty sure there aren't any sleeves for the prime yet at all. I went to staples and bought a generic netbook 10.1 inch sleeve from targus. Its a little fat for the prime but I figure it'll fit in there much better when my keyboard arrives (if ever)
Basically. Just take your prime to an electronics store and see which sleeve it fits in

I just got the case today and I must say, it is quite a nice case. It neoprene on the outside and suede on the inside with a pouch on the outside for storing cables and such as well as a small spot for a thumb drive.
If you are looking for a soft case with good padding I highly reccomend it.

Yup. Shows the $5 shipping earlier but changes to $24.99 shipping in cart. Not worth it IMO.

Hey guys, email them, you'll get it for next to nothing. Amazon has some stupid requirement that things have to arrive within like 5 - 10 days at max or something like that and the only way for them to meet that is to charge $25 expedited. If yoiu email them and say you're in Canada, the guy told me he'll ship it China Post but it won't be within to 5 -10 but I don't care.
Just email em direct, BCSstore or whatever, originally the guy said just order it, put a UK or China delivery address and tell him the order number with an address in CA and he'll change it. Try it out, I got mine with free shipping and expected delivery is like 10 - 15 I think. I asked the guy if others could email direct he said sure, only issue is availability of stock
On the other hand, wanted one of those matte HHI screen protectors, they sell a 3 pack for $12 and want $24 for shipping, emailed them, they basically told be to get bent
I use this one, got it at Bestbuy for about $9 too.

It has 2 compartments and the larger one is divided in half where the back half fits the prime alone quite well. The front half would fit the prime attached to the dock or the dock separately. The smaller compartment has a mini pocket in it to hold an iPod or phone sized device with a space for headphones to travel up the strap and exit near your shoulder.
The only thing I didn't like (it isn't specific to this case) is that the USB charger wall wart has no place to go that is not a danger to the screen if the bag gets squished.

I just can't believe how hard it is to find a sleeve/case that fits a minimum requirements.
I'd love to get the Moko, Verteks, Roocase, Vipertek, Blurex slim sleeves (the one at multi-angle, portrait only mode) as they all seem to have the necessary cutouts of ports and speaker, and would allow docking the keyboard without removing the sleeve.
Except, they are ALL unavailable on Amazon.com, and I can't find any of these anywhere else.
Only thing available are the kind of sleeves/cases which cover the front side areas of the tablets which to me, is a no go as these can not be used alongside a dock ; or those like the MiniSuit which doesn't have a stand for the tablet alone.
Worse than that, the same thing goes for the screen shields ! It's impossible to get one here in Canada.
I can't wait to start using my tablet all the time (and get rid of my aging netbook) but I'm just too afraid to scratch it.
Really frustrated at this situation. And I did spend at least 4-5 hours in the past 2-3 days researching all the above.
